These are a very comfortable pair of pants. They are made of a soft, stretchy and thick material and I could wear these on a long plane ride or car ride as easily as I can walking around town. I ordered the Green color and I love it … its neutral and classy but also modern. I’d describe it almost like a military green … the color one of those 1960’s Army green jackets (M65) is.
The fit …
Probably the thing you are most hesitant about will be the fit. These say Slim Straight and Hudson jeans tend to fit a bit snug to begin with. My normal size jean is a 36 x 34, or 36 Long. In dress pants, I wear between a 36 and a 38 waist and I decided to err on the side of caution and size up a bit. I am glad I did as these fit fine for me … maybe a little looser/baggier than is in style but incredibly comfortable. If you are slim, go with your normal size. If you have a little extra weight, you may want to size up.
I am not a small person. I used to play pro football and I am 6’4 and weigh around 235 lbs. I still hit the gym hard but now in my 40’s, pounds don’t come off as easily. I mention this because sizing up was smart for me because I am not slim … the waist does stretch a bit due to the material and I think I could wear a 36 waist if I wanted them to fit more modern. However, the front area might show off more than I would like from a ‘junk’ standpoint … so I am glad I sized up a bit. These fit more like dress pants than they do jeans. The length is perfect for my Long, or 34 inseam.
These are high quality … no surprise there as Hudson is a high end designer. Not sure these are worth $200 … but for around $100, given how comfortable and well made they are, I’d say they were worth it. You can certainly feel the quality vs. a $30 – $40 pair of cheap pants.
Overall, I am glad I ordered these. Green pants are a tough color to pull off but this does so effortlessly. With a purple or navy sweater, they look very upscale. A black t-shirt would be perfect for casual wear … or a navy blazer and white button-up shirt would dress them up for the office or a client meeting. I am a fan of these, if the price was right. I hope my video, photos and honest review helps you make a good shopping decision and helps you decide on choosing a size/color. These are great all-around versatile pants.

I can’t say enough good things about these pants. They look great, they fit great, they feel great and they are comfortable to wear. I only wish I went down a size since I’m currently in the process of losing weight and soon I won’t be able to fit into these anymore. These pants fit as expected so don’t worry about having any issues in that department. I only wish that the pant legs where a tighter fit on the body but that is not a deal breaker. I’m actually wearing these pants now as I write this review. Super comfortable and stylish.

Ok, so I can’t drop the review stars too low, because tbh I’ve been buying Hudson Jeans for a while now, and I still keep doing it. I love the fit and color selection. I wish they were still selling the Byron cut in all the colors they used to, but it seems like the Blake is now the replacement. Not a fan of it having the zipper instead of button fly, but I couldn’t find the button fly in colors I wanted.
When it comes to the look and how the actual pants hold up they’re great as far as I’m concerned. but the pockets are sooooooo horrible. Half the reason I end up buying more pairs of these is because the pockets get destroyed so fast. And I try to sew them up myself or whatever, but because it’s still the same, easy to rip fabric, it keeps ripping and eventually they’re just too messed up to fix.
I bought this last pair only a few months ago and I already got my first rip today. This pair has only been worn a few times since I’m still mostly working from home, which also means they’ve only been in the washer maybe once- and I know how to take good care of my jeans when it comes to washing. I’ve also never had this happen on any other brand of jeans I owned, ESPECIALLY not so soon after buying. This isn’t me abusing the pants- it’s just really crappy, easy to rip material on the pockets…
If I could find another brand with the colors and fit I like I’d probably jump ship because it’s getting way too annoying at this point- but no luck with that so far.

I bought this style of Hudson jeans a few years ago for my husband. They are literally the only jeans he will wear. He wears them so much. They are looking pretty worn out. I looked everywhere for this style and could only find them on Amazon. He says they are so comfortable and definitely his favorite pants.
