It’s not a winter coat but definitely good for fall …the hood is not small and is thick..colors are great and the liner is very soft… I had to return my first 1 due to being to big, but Amazon’s return policiy was great and super easy….just bring to staples store and they pack and ship back to Amazon… I will definitely buy another

My experience with this jacket. The first one I ordered came in a clear bag with a hole in the bag much like a retail store clothing clear bag, no box or amazon bag. Snaps were not snapped up or folded well. The cuffs were tight so could barely get hands through with awful cuff stitching that I could even see. The stiching on rest seemed fine. I asked for a replacement since it seems like an excellent jacket if it is put together and shipped better. The replacement so far looks perfect even the cuffs fit better. It also showed up in an amazon bag with the clear bag inside, so double bagged. Snaps were snapped all the way up and folded neatly too. Stitching looks perfect so far. Very happy now!

I’m trying to make it the entire winter without heat. With this jacket on I’m comfortable down to around 40-45F without layering; just my regular short sleeve polo underneath. I have plenty of room to layer when the temperature drops further.
Unlike most flannel it’s really quite thin, which I love – flannel is usually so thick and overbearing I dislike wearing it. The lining is fantastic. The hood is on the snug side compared to other jackets I have, but this actually helps a lot when it comes to trapping warmth; there’s less heat loss and my head stays warmer.
I’m particularly fond of the generous sizing. I’m a big guy; I’m between 2-3XL depending on manufacturer, but the 2X here was a very comfortable fit and pretty much the perfect size for me.
I don’t have any complaints – if anything, I wish the same jacket was available in a pattern other than plaid. Definitely going to be buying more from LW in the future!

I got the Stout Plaid, not only is it very comfortable, the sherpa is green and looks like moss. A very cute hoodie indeed too. Good quality buttons. And it fits! I usually wear 2XL, and some clothing makers will make 2xl or even 3xl too small for me. So I really trust this brand and will be getting more.

I bought this jacket for my future son-in-law. He loved it. I got him the Upland Plaid color in XL-Tall and he couldn’t have been happier. He said it was extremely soft as well as warm and cozy. The hood is lined with berber and has Legendary signature buck snaps. It also has side pockets to keep your hands warm on cold, chilly day/nights. The jacket was a perfect size, and he was able to move around comfortably. It also has quilted leaves and durable elbow patches. He said it is the perfect jacket for where he is from up north and couldn’t wait to wear it.

To the details, I ordered a XXL Tall, the length on the side was a little shorter than where my fingers lay, while it’s a little longer than my fingers in the front and back. And at approximately the same price point as the Dixxon flannels, and being as functional as my Carharts but with style, I’m gonna be looking into making a change in my wardrobe and adding more Legendary shirts to the line up! 😊

Has some weight to it, wasn’t expecting that. Fits nice, the arms are a little long for me but the cuffs roll up nicely. I have a long torso with short arms so its not the jackets fault. The buttons go all the way up onto the hood which is going to be nice once it gets cold. Feels durable and you can tell by the detail in the fabric that its a quality jacket.

It also fits perfectly. The length is just right for tall people. Has snap buttons and two size settings for wrist closure. Pockets on the side are deep. The fluff is only in the chest, and back area. Sleeves, hood and pockets have a different lining. Pretty warm jacket for fall/winter and looks nice without being bulky.

First off, I am 5’10” at 185 lbs and I ordered a Large and it fits great, and leaves room for layers, minus the cuffs, Which are way too tight, I actually wear the jacket with the cuffs unbuttoned because I can barely get them snapped around my wrist. So for that, minus 1 star. Other wise the quality is great, the furry lining is so soft! Overall great, warm, flannel jacket, perfect for temps between I would say 30 to 45 degrees for decent comfort, gets a little warm above 50 degrees. Below 30 I definitely recommend some kind of thermal base layer, also not the greatest for stopping wind.

Sizing is generous. Sleeve length is a bit long but can be adjusted as there are two snap locations to choose from. Overall weight is good and will work with heavier shirts such as thermal or flannel. Hood fit is good and the fleece lining keeps ears warm. In my opinion, this is a good value for the price. As for the style, it compliments casual wear nicely, particularly jeans. Only concern I have is the snaps. Be careful pulling on them. No “quick” yanks on them.

In short, nice, comfortable, warm enough for most cold weather (probably not enough for middle of winter in New England, but enough for fall and spring). Definitely longer than expected. I’ve been looking at getting one of these for a while but they were always out of my price range. It went on sale so finally decided to get it. It is very comfortable and warm (though I imagine it won’t be quite enough for very very cold days like windy and/or temps below about 10degF). I will say that other reviews saying it’s too long are correct. I’m 6 ft 5in tall and always buy 2XL Tall for all my clothes. I decided to do the same for this product and it is several inches longer than I expected. It goes just over half way down my thighs (so closer to my knees than my waist). The pockets are so low that my hands rest just in the pockets with my arms hanging straight down. I’m keeping it because I do like it and it’ll be nice to have something long for windy days but I may buy another eventually and won’t get the Tall size.

With the exception that the plaid pattern at the body side seam doesn’t match, this is a very nice shirt jacket. The hood in the picture of the Upland Plaid I purchased looks beige but is closer to grey. I particularly like that the inside sleeves are quilted nylon not fleece or fabric and much easier to put your arms through with a shirt or sweater on and don’t restrict movement. The chest pockets are too small for a standard smart phone and barely large enough for a pair of sunglasses. The elbow patches are a nice accent. I am 6′ tall and 200 lbs with a 36″ waist and the Large size fits nicely. Would buy this shirt/jacket again.

My experience with this jacket. The first one I ordered came in a clear bag with a hole in the bag much like a retail store clothing clear bag, no box or amazon bag. Snaps were not snapped up or folded well. The cuffs were tight so could barely get hands through with awful cuff stitching that I could even see. The stiching on rest seemed fine. I asked for a replacement since it seems like an excellent jacket if it is put together and shipped better. The replacement so far looks perfect even the cuffs fit better. It also showed up in an amazon bag with the clear bag inside, so double bagged. Snaps were snapped all the way up and folded neatly too. Stitching looks perfect so far. Very happy now!

I’m trying to make it the entire winter without heat. With this jacket on I’m comfortable down to around 40-45F without layering; just my regular short sleeve polo underneath. I have plenty of room to layer when the temperature drops further.
Unlike most flannel it’s really quite thin, which I love – flannel is usually so thick and overbearing I dislike wearing it. The lining is fantastic. The hood is on the snug side compared to other jackets I have, but this actually helps a lot when it comes to trapping warmth; there’s less heat loss and my head stays warmer.
I’m particularly fond of the generous sizing. I’m a big guy; I’m between 2-3XL depending on manufacturer, but the 2X here was a very comfortable fit and pretty much the perfect size for me.
I don’t have any complaints – if anything, I wish the same jacket was available in a pattern other than plaid. Definitely going to be buying more from LW in the future!

I bought this jacket for my future son-in-law. He loved it. I got him the Upland Plaid color in XL-Tall and he couldn’t have been happier. He said it was extremely soft as well as warm and cozy. The hood is lined with berber and has Legendary signature buck snaps. It also has side pockets to keep your hands warm on cold, chilly day/nights. Well, I’ve been buying a lot of Dixxon flannels, very stylish, and living in the Northwest, Carhartt hoodies and apparel are fairly mandatory, so I was intrigued to see this shirt from a brand I hadn’t paid attention to in the past.

The soft lined interior feels warm to the touch, so I removed my Carhartt hoodie and donned my newest favorite go-to outer shirt, it’s wonderful! I love the hoodie, it fits my head the way I wish my Carhart’s did, and instantly I felt the warmth that I just wasn’t getting from the Carhart. It feels good, it fits well, I love touching it and feeling the fabric, and it looks and moves great.
To the details, I ordered a XXL Tall, the length on the side was a little shorter than where my fingers lay, while it’s a little longer than my fingers in the front and back. I feel like it actually fits me, I can move around in it.
Do I love my purchase? I do! And at approximately the same price point as the Dixxon flannels, and being as functional as my Carharts but with style, I’m gonna be looking into making a change in my wardrobe and adding more Legendary shirts to the line up! 😊

Has some weight to it, wasn’t expecting that. Fits nice, the arms are a little long for me but the cuffs roll up nicely. I have a long torso with short arms so its not the jackets fault. The buttons go all the way up onto the hood which is going to be nice once it gets cold. Feels durable and you can tell by the detail in the fabric that its a quality jacket.

So for that, minus 1 star. Other wise the quality is great, the furry lining is so soft! Overall great, warm, flannel jacket, perfect for temps between I would say 30 to 45 degrees for decent comfort, gets a little warm above 50 degrees. Below 30 I definitely recommend some kind of thermal base layer, also not the greatest for stopping wind.

Sizing is generous. Sleeve length is a bit long but can be adjusted as there are two snap locations to choose from. Overall weight is good and will work with heavier shirts such as thermal or flannel. Hood fit is good and the fleece lining keeps ears warm. In my opinion, this is a good value for the price. As for the style, it compliments casual wear nicely, particularly jeans. Only concern I have is the snaps. Be careful pulling on them. No “quick” yanks on them.

In short, nice, comfortable, warm enough for most cold weather (probably not enough for middle of winter in New England, but enough for fall and spring). Definitely longer than expected. I’ve been looking at getting one of these for a while but they were always out of my price range. It went on sale so finally decided to get it. It is very comfortable and warm (though I imagine it won’t be quite enough for very very cold days like windy and/or temps below about 10degF). I will say that other reviews saying it’s too long are correct. I’m 6 ft 5in tall and always buy 2XL Tall for all my clothes. I decided to do the same for this product and it is several inches longer than I expected. It goes just over half way down my thighs (so closer to my knees than my waist). The pockets are so low that my hands rest just in the pockets with my arms hanging straight down. I’m keeping it because I do like it and it’ll be nice to have something long for windy days but I may buy another eventually and won’t get the Tall size.

With the exception that the plaid pattern at the body side seam doesn’t match, this is a very nice shirt jacket. The hood in the picture of the Upland Plaid I purchased looks beige but is closer to grey. I particularly like that the inside sleeves are quilted nylon not fleece or fabric and much easier to put your arms through with a shirt or sweater on and don’t restrict movement. The chest pockets are too small for a standard smart phone and barely large enough for a pair of sunglasses. The elbow patches are a nice accent. I am 6′ tall and 200 lbs with a 36″ waist and the Large size fits nicely. Would buy this shirt/jacket again.
