My son prefers the kind of pants with an elastic waist that he can easily pull on and off which is why I purchased these pants. The pants seem like they are made well and of good material. The only downside is that the fit runs large. Instead of returning I will keep them until he grows in to them.

Length and waist fit as expected, but it kinda ballooned around my sons hips and butt, which is not the case for any of his other jeans. I got some elastic waist Levi’s at the same time which fit much better for about $4 more, so I’m gonna return these and get another set of those. However, if you are into that MC Hammer style, these could be perfect for you.

Finally, a solution to consistently 99.9% percentile in the weight, average height of my 4-year-old son, about to turn 5 in a few months. Not only is he chunky, he has long torso, short legs body proportions like his dad. I have always bought him to 2 years sizes bigger to fit on his thighs, hips, and waist and just deal with the extra length, but lately, even that doesn’t work anymore on denim pants. I bought him size 7 of this well-known kid’s brand the other day, and it didn’t even go past his thighs. I was so frustrated. So I immediately looked for another pair of pants and just searched for jogger denim pants. Even though I did not want a jogger look, I thought at this point that I had no choice.
Then I found this and read the review, and the only review with a photo also said it’s perfect for her chunky son. So I looked closely at the product photos, it even has like a fake zipper stitching, belt loops on the waist, does not have cuffs on the ends of the legs, and does not have this adjustable string on the waist. It really looked like pants, not joggers. OMG, I was so happy. That is exactly what I was looking for! But then I was like, why would such a perfect product not have a perfect rating? Is the fabric too thin? Bad stitches? Low quality? So I read the low rating reviews, and NOPE, it wasn’t because of that! It was because they find it baggy when you can clearly see in the photos that it is styled like that, which was the very reason why I clicked on this product in the first place.
C’mon, people. I feel so bad for business owners like this because people don’t know how to review and rate properly. You cannot blame them if your body doesn’t suit the clothing. It’s more of your body problems, not a product problem. I never gave low reviews/ratings on all the kids’ clothing I bought here on Amazon because it wouldn’t go past my son’s thighs. If the quality is good, then it deserves a good rating.

These are very good quality material very comfortable. The waist isn’t too high or good value for your money very stretchy for the active child.
