The pants are nice material soft and comfy but they are too tight on me. Usually I go with suggested size that Amazon suggests but these were too tight. Go one size up! I usually wear size 10 short and these were 8 short and much too tight. The length was perfect for me I am 5 foot and 145.

I purchased one pair of these jeans, and I ended up purchasing all three colors because they look so good. As an older woman, who is about 25 lbs. overweight, these are flattering AND comfortable to wear. I have always liked the LEE brand, but these are the most comfortable yet — they have just the right amount of stretch and control. I highly recommend them! The tag says to dry them on low. My dryer doesn’t have LOW, so I dried them on MEDIUM for about 20 minutes and allowed them to air dry for the remainder — they maintained their shape & sizing.

They are wrinkle resistant, somewhat stretchy to help fit even if your size goes up or down a bit, the color is nice and true to advertised, they are comfortable and light, but the cut isn’t very feminine. If you’re alright with a more masculine cut pair of jeans, then these are for you, because the quality is excellent so far for the price.

After losing substantial weight, it had become difficult to find new blue jeans that would fit. After much trial and error and several returns to Amazon, I found these! They do not have a stretch fabric feature and these jeans don’t stretch and slip!!! One observation…I rarely carry a purse. The front pockets of these jeans are shallow – too short to hold on to a cell phone or a simple wallet.

I ordered these in an 8L and 10R (the longs were out of stock). I am typically a 6 or 8 depending on the amount of stretch in a pant. I did 8/10 after reading someone’s review that had similar height and weight as me. The 8s were obviously too small and very tight in the leg. The 10s were better through the leg (still not what u would consider relaxed) and I was able to sit down in them somewhat comfortably. I also had a slight gap in my mid back. However, I am in my comfort above all era so I am sending back in hopes that the 12s give me some more room in the waist and through the thighs. I like the cut enough to do this one more time. But I am not sure how someone who wears an 8 in most brands and sometimes is a 6 needs a 12 in any brand.

I love these so much I’m thinking of getting two more pairs! They fit great in the waist (comes to right around my belly button (size 10 short) enough room for thighs without looking baggy and the length are perfect with my favorite pair of boots. They feel sturdy enough to survive my lifestyle. I haven’t owned a pair of jeans in about 5 years but I might be warming back up to them because of this pair of jeans.

I was so disappointed when Lee discontinued these several years ago. I have a small waist and these were the only ones that fit good and looked nice on. I was thrilled to see them available and feared they might not be the same, but they are. Very comfortable. Look great. Great quality though for the 1st few uses hard to get the button in hole. Washes great. No wrinkles. Can be used to dress up or down. Highly recommend.

I am that kind of person that doesn’t order pants or jeans on line. Normaly I hate shopping for jeans even in store. This jeans are incredible! Absolutely loving them. Stretchy, comfortable, long enough ( if you are over 5.8 better go with tall size) and even more incredible: the waist fits. Every single jeans I try on are too tight at thights, too large at waist and too short. I just found the best fit for me.

(See update below) I always go back to this exact style/cut/brand because I have such a funny fit for jeans. I have REALLY long legs (short torso), so I always buy a couple pairs. I love how long they are (however this last purchase the pants were slightly shorter than usual about an inch-I haven’t bought any for a few years). The stretchy fabric is just enough to fit but not be too tight to the legs. I wash in cold and line dry so that they stay the shape of my body. Drying shrinks them up again and then they have to stretch out to fit. They sit right on my hips at the belly button. The only thing I don’t like is that I HAVE to wear a belt because they also stretch at the waist and me with a tummy and no waistline there is nothing to hold them up so they are always rolling over or sliding down. This is a “me” problem, though I wonder if they could make the waistline not so stretchy. Anyway I will keep buying until they don’t make them anymore or I find something better but I have been looking for 15 years and these are still my fav.
UPDATE 2024 – bought two more pair, same size, LONG – the waistline fits much lower, 2 inches below belly button, where it used to fit at the belly button – also not as long as they used to be. I am 5’10” and like pants to be long enough to not show my ankles – also the denim isn’t as sturdy feeling, much lighter. I’ll return one pair while I look for a new jean that fits just right.

I’ve been wearing Lee jeans for a long time and have this exact pair in a smaller size. I finally conceded that I needed to size up in my Lee jeans and was looking for a size 8… The problem is that if you want a size 8 (regular) in 100% cotton, it doesn’t offer it! At the time of my purchase, every size offered was 100% cotton EXCEPT size 8 (regular and short) which is a cotton-poly blend with 1% spandex…which I didn’t want. So…I looked at the size 10 and thought I’d give it a try. Based on the reviews, size 10 Relaxed Fit Monroe Straight Leg Jeans runs small. That worked out perfectly for me because they are 100% cotton BUT the tagged “size 10” pair I received was most definitely a size 8! I compared them to another pair of pants I have in size 8 and it was an exact match.
I docked one star for inconsistent sizing and material (because it should just be the same 100% cotton across all sizes and sizing you can depend on) but all that aside, it was what I was looking for! Still nicely made and that classic Lee jeans fit!

Yes! As all others have said these jeans do run large but in fairness these jeans are made for the curvy girl who is small in the waist with hips and rounded rear ends. But I am 5’9 with a flat rear and thick thighs so I normally wear a size 12/14 and skinny jeans turn into muffin top jeans on me. I needed a straight leg jean with a little higher waist that didn’t look like mom jeans. After reading the reviews I chose a size 12 but Way too big is an understatement. What I loved was how dark the black jeans are and not that awful greyish black that has become popular. I returned them easily and the exchange arrived quickly within 3 days of me mailing back the return. Now I love the size 10 and while an 8 may fit tighter in the rear, the 10 fits my hips well without squeezing them (giving an hourglass shape) and the waist is comfortable enough that even if they draw up after washing I will be able to zip them up. With a belt I can pull them up higher to hide my lack of “booty” with out losing the length. The length is perfect for sneakers or heals. I do not have that totum pole leg look as the jeans hug my thighs just above the knees then loosens to make my thighs look slimmer. Then at the knee it sort of gathers so it is straight but not straight as a “pole”. This is that classic jean that I was looking for and I am extremely happy to find them. So happy that I ordered a pair in Horizon for my daughter since she is curvy both in hips and rear so she should fill these jeans out well while having a more slimming look. If these do not draw up in the wash then I will try Horizon in an 8 and see if those will be too small since I am in a middle size I may be better off not going down another size. Still overall these are excellent, sturdy, true to color, year round jeans and once you find your size you will want a pair in every color.

Since these jeans fit the same as Amazons brand I am going to review them the same. Only difference is they are not skinny jeans at the ankles, they are just tapered or straight style. I am thrilled with how these fit. I am 5’5” 180lbs and hourglass shaped. I ordered a size 14 regular. They fit like a glove. I have trouble finding jeans that fit. They usually fit my hips but are too loose in the waist, or fit my waist but are too tight in the hips. These are sooo different because they fit in all the right places and are very comfortable. The zipper works ( lately I’ve had issues with cheaper made jeans) and the material is the perfect balance of stretch and support. Not too stretchy where they lose support , but enough give & support for me. It’s nice to find jeans that don’t have holes or tears in them these days without looking old fashioned. Very nice quality jeans and the perfect length. The material is not too thin or heavy…they are medium weight jeans. When I bend over or squat down the high waist keeps my bottom from exposed at the crack. And for $18?! I struck gold!!!!!!!!

These are LOVELY even ELEGANT jeans. They are 98% Cotton and 2% Elatastane. They look and feel fabulous on. The cut and fit is excellent. They are a true straight leg LEE jean with grace, style and class rather than too many designs that run baggy and shapeless.

Not “long” enough for taller women – I ordered an 8 long. It hovers just around the ankle and really above the ankle when I sit and it makes my ankles cold. I don’t always want to wear long socks as they never quite fit my big feet (I wear a size 11). 3 stars for decent quality, I just wish it had a 33″ inseam.
