I bought my husband the gray jacket about three years ago and he loved it. The old jacket is getting worn so he asked for me to order a new one in brown. He got it in the mail the other day and it is a well made and good quality jacket, very pleased. I ordered the extra large tall this time because he is 6 foot 4 inches tall and it fits perfect. The hood part unzips and can be removed to dress the jack up and put back in for every day wear. This jackets are very durable.

I love this jacket. I’ll get another one. I’ll learn to keep certain heavy items out of the inside pockets because they will start to unravel the stitching. Also little holes kept popping up through the inner lining causing tufts of the insulation to pop throug them causing little white whisps which catch on whatever shirt I am wearing and pulling out ever so slightly over time.

There hasn’t been a more comfortable and WARM jacket I’ve ever owned. The removable hoodie really kept my shaved head warm when it’s wet or simply cold outside. The soft feel of the outer shell is pleasant to the touch. The zippers work absolutely flawlessly.

After using needle and thread to repair 2-3 locations where the stitching has come apart I’ve noticed 2 more places after washing / drying this jacket in cold water / low heat.

I’ll keep it for my ‘dont care if it gets dirty’ jacket and purchase another one to look snappy.

This purchase made me happy and even happier since I know how to sew. Your mileage may vary.

    Muy buen servicio

  4. Carlos Funes

Seriously, I love this coat. The material, the design, and the color are all top-notch. My only issue is the sizing—it’s a little big on me. I probably should’ve gone down a size, but I still totally dig it and I’m keeping it.

  5. Amazon Customer

Love this jacket. The sizes do run a bit on the larger side, but other than that, zero complaints. Very good at repelling water and as an added bonus, it doesn’t feel like a jacket when you’re driving. I can’t stand wearing a jacket and driving, but this just feels like a thicker sweater

  6. cole k.

Medium was a perfect fit for me, 6 ft 190 sleeves perfect , Zippers nice. love the waxed cotton, Hoodies was a nice fit . inside pocket was nice for the Phone on the Motorcycle easy to get to and put back in without issue or snagging .

  7. kcrls

Love this jacket. Nothing negative to say.

  8. Tim Coleman

Best Jacket I’ve ever owned. Made with amazing detail. Extremely comfortable. Feels like a worn leather jacket.

  9. Dalton

Best Coat i have. It has lasted for years and across several states. IF there was ever an issue with it, I would only replace it with another one.

I wanted something to throw on in winter time that goes over the flannels that I wear in winter. This definitely fits the requirements. It is as nice in person as it is in the advert. Great lining, the removeable hoody zips in/out the entire length of the coat (so no pesky wind leaks). The inside lining is very nice and make it very easy to slip over whatever it is you’re wearing at the time. Some coat linings… Meh, fights you going on an coming off. Throw this over a fleece/flannel or vest and done!
Curse Amazon for showing me this thing! It took just a few minutes to press the [mine] button and I’m glad I did. It performs like a much bulkier looking coat in the cold.

Well made, fits great. Size is spot on. Material is super soft. Just one beautiful coat.

Nice quality, not exactly what I would call a heavy coat. But definitely has decent weight, I would say it’s an acceptable winter coat if you don’t live in Maine.. also pretty good looking.. like the double zipper. XLsize, 6ft, 236lb.. fit great

  13. Vic

This jacket is almost perfect, except for the insane decision to line the front pockets with a material that cannot hold, let alone retain, any amount of warmth. The front pockets are entirely useless in the cold. The interior pockets are awesome, the interior is soft, and the hood is both thick and removable.

I love the jacket, it’s a bit baggy and perfect for layering, but those front pockets are painfully disappointing in under 20 degree Fahrenheit weather. And I mean painful like your fingers will not be okay outside. I’m going to have to take it to a tailor to make this a functional winter jacket for Minnesota.

This jacket met and exceeded all my expectations. Quality is top notch. Fit and durability is amazing. By far worth every penny. Lots of pockets inside and out, dirt ect wipes off without washing. Best jacket I’ve owned!!

I recently purchased the Legendary Whitetails Men’s Rugged Full Zip Dakota Jacket and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed! This jacket deserves a 5-star review for its exceptional quality, durability, and style.

The first thing that caught my attention was the material. The jacket is made with a high-quality, heavyweight cotton canvas that feels incredibly sturdy and well-made. I have no doubt that this jacket will last me for years to come, even with regular wear and tear.

The fit of the jacket is also perfect. It’s not too loose or too tight, and the sleeves are just the right length. The full zip design makes it easy to put on and take off, and the collar is the perfect height to keep my neck warm on chilly days.

Another feature I love about this jacket is the number of pockets. There are plenty of pockets to store my phone, wallet, keys, and other essentials. The pockets are also deep enough to keep my belongings secure and prevent them from falling out.

Lastly, the style of this jacket is impeccable. The rustic, rugged look is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking or camping, but it’s also stylish enough to wear casually with jeans or khakis. The attention to detail on this jacket is impressive, from the stitching to the zipper pulls.

Overall, I highly recommend the Legendary Whitetails Men’s Rugged Full Zip Dakota Jacket to anyone looking for a high-quality, durable, and stylish jacket. The material is top-notch, and the attention to detail is second to none. I’m already planning on purchasing another one in a different color!

I’d been needing a solid coat for a couple of years now, for when it gets too cold for a hoodie. Searched around forever and couldn’t really find anything I liked. I was actually looking for a leather jacket, preferably one with a hood, which was somewhat difficult to find. I didn’t find any leather jackets I liked, but I stumbled onto this one, and really liked the look. I really do not like the style/design of 99% of the apparel marketed toward hunters, but this coat is really nice looking, simply designed, and there’s only a couple of small brand tags that don’t draw attention to themselves. I tend to get cold easily, but I didn’t want something that’s too hot. Luckily, this coat is thick enough to keep me warm, but not so thick that I get too hot. The fit is nice and snug, the inner liner is very comfortable, and I love the removable hood (which it looks great with or without).

After looking for so long and not being able to find anything I liked, I am incredibly happy I found this one. Great, great coat.

I originally bought the X-Large because all of my jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, and t-shirts are similarly X-Large. But when I received the jacket, it just felt and looked too loose and baggy on me. I felt that it needed to be 2″ narrower in the chest and waist, but the Large was 4″ narrower in the chest and waist. So I was scared to order the Large. But I did, and I’m happy with the Large size.

The jacket is very thin. It’s almost as thin as the $90 Legendary Whitetails Shirt Jacket. If the jacket was a little thicker, I would give it five stars. I feel like even if I layer up with a tank top, t-shirt, and long sleeve shirt that I would be taking a big risk of being too cold if I walked outside with this jacket on when the weather is 30-35 degrees. Which means in Fall, I would only get to wear this jacket like one week before it gets too cold for it. I would have gladly paid another $20-30 for a jacket that looked just like this but was thicker and more padded. I’d rather the jacket be too warm and just wear a t-shirt underneath than a jacket that is too thin and causes me to be cold even with three shirts underneath.

Appearance wise, when I had the X-Large, I thought that the jacket looked boring and ugly without the contrasting light brown hoodie. But now that I have the better fitting Large size, I can say that the jacket looks good without the hoodie. But I prefer it with the hoodie, so I won’t ever take it off. The jacket has contrast stitching which was a really good design choice. I wish that makers of brown baseball caps did the same thing, but most don’t use contrast stitching.

The jacket is comfortable to wear. And I like how my hands feel in the front side pockets. And I wouldn’t have ordered it if it was a button up. Good thing that it is a zip up. I saw a lot of negative reviews that complained about the stitching and seams falling apart, especially in the armpit area. I hope that doesn’t happen to me. I don’t go out much and I don’t plan on washing it in the washer machine, so I would think that it will last me a long time. $110 might be a decent price as far as how the jacket looks (I thought that the Legendary Whitetails Shirt Jacket being $90 was too expensive), but I would have been happier if the jacket was thicker. I could have easily bought some thick jackets for around $50 but they didn’t look as nice, so that was why I was hesitant to buy them. But yeah, this jacket would have received a 5 star rating instead of 3 stars even it wasn’t so thin.

UPDATE: I probably wear this jacket once or twice a year because I never leave my house. I have not had any problems with the armpit stitching yet, but there is already a huge hole inside of one pocket. Which is weird because I just gently place my hands in them when I walk around. The pockets are made of very thin material and the thread that they used to sewed it together is probably too fragile.. If the rest of the jacket remains durable, then I am fine with it. But really, these jackets are too thin and too expensive, so they shouldn’t have skimped out on quality like that.

An indefatigable piece of attire, I should say. I’ve had it for maybe three weeks and it hasn’t disintegrated into spiteful little atoms, so you know it’s good 👌. You can go utilitarian with the hoody or go spiffy without it. I should hope will last me another three weeks. If it does, I can count it among mine greatest companions, because nobody wants to stick with me that long.

  19. Amazon Customer

  22. Ashley Scott

Super warm and soft. Great quality and would definitely order again. The color was better in person. The lining is so warm and soft. It’s not to thick. Fit was great. Funcaltionality is great for any event.

  23. Bob

This coat is very well made, with quality materials. I’ve been wearing it in harsh Pennsylvania weather, and it’s nice and warm, windproof, and I haven’t had any problems with water getting in. It’s true to size as well.

  24. Michael

6’3 260lbs lg shoulder frame, this jacket fits perfectly! Not thin material, not too bulky either. Keeps me dry and warm. Looks great and feels great.

  25. Daniel Ayala

Super warm. Super comfy. Good quality jacket to go over a simple t-shirt. soft quilted lining is smooth and warm while canvas shell feels sturdy (maybe don’t wear for heavy ranch/farm work) but feels like itll hold up

  26. ED

No full inner liner but a nice coat for shoulder season and the small liner and hood are good for those times.

  27. jose luis

  28. C. Nichols
