This Sidefeel Women’s Jean Jacket Casual Long Sleeve is the perfect oversized/boyfriend jean jacket. I ordered a size up to XL.
🖤It’s versatile and can be worn and styled in many ways. The sleeves can be rolled up for a more casual look. The buttons are in contrast silver. They’re easy to button/unbutton.
🖤Has a flattering shape how it’s cut near the hip/at the bottom of the jacket.
🖤 It does not have any kind of smell to it.
🖤The quality is nice overall. I ordered it in black and its definitely a true black jean jacket.
🖤It’s not too heavy. A light sweat jacket/hoodie could even fit under it.
🖤I like the fact that it’s long enough to cover the tush when standing.
🖤I like the pockets in the front.
🖤The only thing that would improve the functionality of this jean jacket is if the pockets were side pockets versus in the front.

The product description certainly states that this is an oversized, “boyfriend cut” jean jacket. For that reason, I won’t dock any stars just because I didn’t like the way it looked on me; there are many ways a jacket can be oversized, and this version simply wasn’t for me. However, I will admit that it is quite well-made and would be perfect for someone who appreciates a very large silhouette.
I decided to size down for this purchase. I am normally a large, but I bought a medium because I knew it would have that oversized fit—meaning it wouldn’t necessarily be cut for the female form and would be wider and longer than other jean jackets. I own plenty of other “boyfriend” cut items, but this one was just a little different.
I think what it comes down to is that this is real denim with a true denim texture, which we all know is a little on the stiff side. The thickness of the fabric is more substantial than cheap denim imitations, and I definitely appreciate this brand’s commitment to quality composition.
For me, I feel as though this isn’t quite wearable because I typically style denim jackets over things like sleeveless summer dresses, and this one makes me look box-shaped. Again, I don’t necessarily blame the company; finding an oversized cut that is flattering on every body shape is nearly impossible.
This item was so well done in terms of quality, material, and ornamentation that it was hard for me to even remove one star. However, I had to give it four instead of five because I do think its straight cut really affected its general wearability for most people. I believe there were ways to make this a little more universally applicable, but again, I know that is a hard quota to fill.
I recommend having a certain amount of flexibility in your wardrobe when purchasing this. It is definitely excellent quality and an aesthetically pleasing garment, but like all clothes, it will look remarkably different on different body types. For those of you who are hippy or have a deep waist like myself, you might end up feeling a little boxy. That wasn’t for me, but I know it will work for many others considering the clear commitment to quality.

The shoulders are wide and dropped, dolman style? Wasn’t sure about that but I’ve gotten used to the look. Fabric is a good weight. Wearing it daily.

I like wearing jean jackets, and have a number of them. I ordered this one because I thought it was cute, but when I tried it on I was disappointed. I generally wear a large, sometimes a medium, but based on the size chart I ordered this jacket in a size small. The jacket appears to be well constructed, with well-sewn seams and securely riveted buttons. However, it was massively oversized (even the small was a bit big on me), and the design wasn’t flattering. The fit is extremely boxy, emphasized by the jacket’s overly wide shoulders and roomy sleeves. In addition, the jacket’s length hits at low hip, which gives the illusion that my legs are shorter than they actually are.
Listed at $39.99, the jacket is currently (as of the time of this writing) selling at 35% off, at $25.99. However, even on sale, I think there are better options available.

This cute jacket would be perfect except for the sizing. I’m a small woman (size 4-6) and I ordered the small size. It is more oversized than I would have liked/expected, but that’s ok as I was planning to wear a top under it. However the shoulder portion was surprisingly very large. I’ll be able to do some mending, but that’s not the point. I will keep the jacket, launder it and hope it shrinks a little and I will alter the shoulders.
