I’ve had belts like this, ratcheting ones, in the past and was unimpressed with them. Apparently things have improved, since this is a decent belt. I have a nice expensive conceal carry belt I’ve used for years, but since I’ve been losing so much weight, I’ve been having to use it on the last hole and it just wasn’t tight enough, and I really didn’t want to just put a hole in it, I had a foot already of belt sticking out the other side.
I went smaller than they suggested with this one, since I knew the length of the other, and with 12 inches too much I could go down another size here and still have it work.
Easy to go on but it will take time to have it become muscle memory for hitting that latch to loosen up the belt, especially since if you have it on tight, which is how I like my belts, you first need to manually take up some of the tension so the latch will actually work.
But nicely packaged, nice quality and craftsmanship. For this price, it’s a really good value.

I don’t normally write reviews but this one was worth the time and effort. I bought one belt because I saw good reviews and wanted to check it out. Super easy to put together (so easy that I store my new belt(s) apart in the box because putting them back together literally takes 3-5 seconds). The belts are awesome quality, they look durable, amazing colors, but the ratchet system is the selling point for me. Buy the belt bigger because you can always cut it smaller. My waist is 36 and I bought the belt that was 49 inches and I cut it down to 40 so there’s a little extra. Works perfect. Also, if you eat too much at dinner and bloat yourself into an oblivion you simply hit the release levers and move the ratchet a couple millimeters (you can do this while sitting). If you’re someone who carries an “item” that happens to be inside the waistband (yall know who you are) this belt is absolutely for you!!! I was so impressed at the first belt that was delivered I immediately bought four more. For the 15 dollar deal I also bought 3 more as Xmas presents.

It is thick leather and easily trimmed to fit. The buckle is brilliant! Totally reengineered. The faux buckle tongue makes this look like any other belt. The buckle is actually a slider type. A great feature is that you don’t have to punch holes that eventually stretch and deform. I suggest practicing with the release mechanism before putting the belt on. It’s a little tricky and no instructions come with the belt. Jukmo packages this with great care: the belt is wrapped in protective paper and placed in a sturdy box. The buckle comes unattached and in a plastic holder/tray. Assembly is a snap. The durability is outstanding and has yet to deform in the back. By the way, the leather is much thicker than you usually see at this price. Will be getting another one in the near future.

If you’ve priced belts lately this is already a bargain. Add in the style and appearance, and the fact that it ratchets to a precise adjustment, the Jukmo belt is a real winner. I love the way the ratchet system works. No more settling between two holes, I can tighten this exactly where I need it. The release mechanism is a little tricky but you get the hang of it after awhile. I was a little concerned that it would be difficult to trim, but it was super easy just using a kitchen shears. I haven’t experienced any slipping of the mechanism, it stays securely where you set it. After using this belt for awhile, I don’t think I will ever go back to a conventional belt

Ja, dieser ist nicht aus echtem Leder (das sollte man bei den Preis aber auch nicht erwarten), wirkt aber dennoch wertig und gerade die hier in den Rezensionen bereits erwähnte Steifheit des Gurts finde ich besonders gut. Man kann den Gurt sehr sehr simpel kürzen und dann wird er einfach mit der Schnalle verbunden.
Ich habe hier ein Bild gesehen, auf dem der Gurt aus der Schnalle herausgerissen erscheint und fragte mich, wie das bei der Stärke des Materials passieren kann.
Die Schnalle selbst wirkt stabil und ist auch schick, hat eine perfekte Größe, ist nicht zu wuchtig, aber auch nicht zu mickrig.
Und dann die eigentliche Funktion der Schliesse: wirklich genial! Man kann den Gürtel sehr exakt einstellen und auch das Öffnen erweist sich als sehr einfach.
Ob die Funktion auf lange Zeit gegeben ist und die Schließe auf Ewigkeit hält, lässt sich jetzt natürlich noch nicht sagen, aber im Moment hat mich der Gürtel wirklich überzeugt.

I have to say – I was pretty skeptic to purchase this considering the price. I have been wanting a ratchet style belt for a while and at this price it seemed too good to be true. Well so far I am totally shocked at the quality. Good thick leather at a great and comfortable width and the ratchet action is perfect. Came in a very nice box with super clear directions. I cut the end to fit, slid it into the ratchet buckle and done. easy, effortless, high quality full and action – will be buying one for each of my sons and another for myself in a different color.

I’ve been wearing this belt for about a week now and I think it’s quite nice. The ratcheting function is new to me but I got used to it very fast. The only thing better about holes is you know you are getting fatter once you can’t fit that hole, with the ratcheting, you will not know anymore but you can rely on your scale at home lol.
The packaging is very nice, everything was well thought out including the warranty card.
So far, the ‘leather’ feels well made but we need more time to tell how well it will last. The sizing is not a problem as you can cut it to size and it has markings that can help you size it to where you need to cut so it is very easy.
I did not need to cut it as it is just very little overhang for me so I just left it the way it is.
The buckle feels nice and sturdy. Again, time will tell but so far it feels nice.
