This is my third messenger bag. Have worn out the other two. (Keep in mind, my first one was purchased in 2001. These do last!) When hiking with my bullmastiff pups, I take a long a collapsible water bowl, bottle water, treats, backup leashes, and of course poop bags. Given the abuse this bag gets, it hold up extremely well. And I like having the pockets at my side instead of a backpack for the needs of the pups. And last, I do enjoy its classic look!

Purchased this when a cab journey distracted left my shoulder bag in the back seat. This was relatively good value and first impressions were excellent. The strap is durable and adapts well to changes of length, and the zips seem secure. This bag has subsequently accompanied on trips all over the UK and has proven its worth time and agin. The side pockets are deep and roomy and it has multiple compartments – storage capacity, although not vast comfortably carries enough for an overnight stay and for travelling, especially with smaller children. It looks very understated and I would definitely buy again.

We got this as a podcast equipment bag for my 14yr old son. It isn’t necessarily substantial or padded enough on its own for delicate equipment, so we also added a ArcEnCiel Camera Insert which fits perfectly. He is able to fit a Zoom Q8n-4K video recorder, cables and a mini tripod with no trouble. The pockets are great for extra batteries, etc. He loves the rugged, aged-canvas style. The buckles seem a little superfluous to me (since the snaps are the closure for the front flap) but he doesn’t care.

I use this bag as my daily purse. I have used it daily for several months. I haven’t washed it, but it looks fine and all hardware is intact. What I like: the appearance, the size, the adjustable strap (can go quite long if you like), the outside pockets, and the fact that the main pocket is zippered for security. The outer flap lifts easily (I don’t always snap the snaps, since the main pocket is zippered) and makes a good spot for my phone/keys. What I didn’t like, initially, was the unstructured interior. There is one zippered side pocket, no interior division of any kind. What bothered me the most was having a place to carry pens. I keep cheap pens in an outside pocket, but I carry nicer pens for my own use (i.e., not to lend!) and like them secured. I didn’t want to zip them into the zippered pocket, because then it can be cumbersome to get them out (realize I am sounding very high maintenance here!). I also found my wallet and card case/keys could be hard to grab. What worked great for me was a “Vercord Handbag organizer,Felt Insert Purse Organizer Bag in Bag 10 Pockets Structure Shaper Beige Mini,” also available on Amazon. It fits great and makes the inside of the bag much easier to navigate. I also thought the bag had a handle across the back, but it’s a strap, sewn down. The shoulder strap is the only handle. Overall, I like the bag a great deal, but definitely recommend the organizer to be able to find things quickly in the unstructured interior.

I needed a bigger fishing satchel. This fit the purpose. Very durable. I use it for carrying my trout lures. So now i can just grab this bag and my fishing pole and cast up the local pond and creeks nearby. It can hold up to 3 medium size tackle boxes. A small pockets are great for carrying my plyiers and small tools.

I know there have been some negative reviews, and some have said that this bag isn’t durable. If you are planning on dragging this down the road, letting your dog chew it, or leaving it outside for a couple of years, it probably won’t last. If you want this for everyday commutes, it is well made and durable for its price. I can fit my 13″ macbook (in a protective case) inside this easily. It isn’t a massive bag, but I didn’t want that. The stitching and canvas and leather are all good quality. Much different than a lot of stuff out there. It’s worth every penny

I had low to medium expectations for this bag, but I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is fantastic. The canvas is sturdy and soft. The snaps and zippers are metal and good quality. The main compartment is roomy enough for my needs — I bought a Tenba BYOB 7 camera insert to make a stealthy camera bag — and the three exterior pockets are very useful. There is also a zippered interior pocket for anything valuable like a wallet or keys. The strap, which is not removable, is a nice material and doesn’t slide around while on a shoulder or crossbody. I also think the bag looks really nice, especially in the khaki color I chose. If I had a bit to pick, I wish there was a slash pocket on the rear of the bag, but it’s not a big deal. I’m beyond happy with my purchase and highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a roomy but compact shoulder/crossbody canvas bag. I would buy another.

First I wanted a small messenger bag and the size is perfect but still plenty of room. The things I removed made it more personal for my taste. I removed the overly large name plate on the front of the bag. If the brand name had been much smaller I would have left it, but it is large and really made it look cheap. The next thing I removed on both sides of the bag was the closure flaps and the snap on them. I like to be able to drop my keys in one and don’t want or need a closure flap so both of those came off too. I can put a water bottle or a rolled up umbrella in the other side pocket, so no closure flaps needed. Inside the purse I also took off yet another large label that wasn’t needed at all. Once I made all my changes I was very happy with the messenger bag. There is a large open pocket on the main body of the front of the bag and later I will probably add a velcrow closure so nothing can fall out. I like to keep pens, a small note book, and other small items in it but that pocket is large enough to put my cell phone in it too. Inside the bag is a zippered compartment that I can put extra money or a check book so they’re safe and no one can see them if I’m looking for something when shopping. The main body of the bag is roomy for just about anything I carry. I keep an appointment booklet with my many appointments, my wallet, and other things like a coin change holder and business cards from all my doctors and dentist. All in all, its very well made. I got the brown colored bag and it looks much better to me without all the extra stuff they added to the bag. The cross body strap can be adjusted to what ever length you need and I’m really happy that no shoulder pad was added to the strap. The canvas is a good quality canvas and not too soft like a hobo bag for instance or too hard where it would bee too stiff either. The best part is even with all my stuff in the bag it is not heavy at all and the size is just right for me. I have other messenger bags but all of them are just too big. and really too heavy too. making them feel like a suitcase hanging rom my shoulder.
This is a perfect size and weight and without all the “extras froo froo” on the bag it suits me just fine.

I absolutely love this bag! It’s great to take when headed out to the swap meet, hiking or for me I use it everyday! Lots of room, pockets and it’s made very strong! Best thing is it’s the perfect size for me. As for the money, this bag is worth every penny! The style, the color, size, pockets , everything it’s just a great little bag! 20年以上使用していた帆布の鞄がズタボロになったので今回買い替えて、この子も通勤も含め普段使い用にヘビーユーズする予定だけど耐久性も良さそうだし楽しみ！やっぱ帆布鞄って味あっていいな♡
ただ、毎回開け閉めの際前のボタン2つポチポチするのめんどくさそう(笑)だし(←両サイドのも含めて全部マグネットボタンでもよかったじゃない？)、中の区分けポケット/もしくは背面側にもポケットがもう一つくらいあってほしかったかも。
以上を踏まえても、なんにせよ概ね満足です。
これからあちこち一緒に連れて行って使い込んでいくのが楽しみ！(*^^*)ｵｽｽﾒですょ♡

正面から見ると鞄の本体のボディラインから大きく幅もはみ出て不格好になるから旅行以外ではあまり物を入れない用にしよっかな…(笑)

I was a bit put off by the customer reviews for this bag, not because it got bad reviews, but because the majority of them were from women exulting the joys of this product, describing it as “cute” and the like.
Well, manly men, do not fear! I purchased this as a lightweight and small travel satchel, and it fits the bill perfectly. The main compartment is roomy enough to accommodate an iPad and noise-canceling headphones wijth roo ton spare, and the side pockets will take even a big HTC phone in an armored case. There is a front pocket, covered by the flap, good for stashing ID and boarding docs, and the inside zipped pocket is good for the cash and credit cards. The buckles on the main flap are really for show. There are snaps which make it easy to access.
The best thing about this bag, and the reason I bought it, is that you can toss it under the seat in a sardine-can commuter jet and still have access to your tablet in-flight without having to get up and rifle your carry-on from the overhead compartment, but without compromising what little legroom you get. The military styling gives it the appearance of a classic WWII messenger or ammo bag (if it was manly enough for the Greatest Generation, it’s manly enough for you!) and it’s comfortable slung over the shoulder or across.
I can’t say I feel liberated enough by this bag to altogether give up carrying my wallet in my back pocket, but this bag does kick the man-purse stigma in the tail. Or, since I am writing this review during a long layover, maybe that’s just the beer talking. It doesn’t matter. This is an excellent travel bag. You should buy it.

I had originally canceled the order for this messenger bag. But on second thought, I’ll give it a try. I just received it and I am over the top happy with the quality and the looks of this bag. The pictures don’t do it justice. The stitching is absolutely precise, the color, quality of the canvas is thick and yet so elegant! I am over the top happy. This bag is nothing but plus, plus. It even has a zipper, many pockets and it looks so fashionable. So you don’t have to wear this only as a functional messenger bag. You can look like a top model in a movie on an expedition assignment. I love all the pockets! Get yourself a sophisticated safari hat to match.

Perfect for what I need. There are plenty useful pockets, although I had hoped the side ones would fit my stainless water bottles but they are a bit too tight. They will however accommodate regular plastic ones… so that is where I now keep my glasses. It appears to be very well constructed using quality materials.
The only head scratcher is a rather large label sewn to the inside which reads “Affection Remains Unchanged Your Choice, We Made”. I assume this unit was assembled for the US or at least English speaking market? How much more effort would it have taken to include a message using proper English? Or better yet, don’t include it at all. A greater attention detail in this area would have taken the perceived value of the bag up a notch.

Gestern bestellt und heute geliefert. Aber das Wichtigste: genau das wonach ich lange gesucht habe! Viel Platz für Kalender, Geldbörse, Handy etc. Nicht zu groß und nicht zu klein. Alles sicher zu verstauen dank Innenfach mit Reißverschluß und großem Hauptfach mit Reißverschluß. Da bin ich mehr als zufrieden und habe gleich noch eine Tasche für meine Frau bestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!
