The vest is nicely made, but either the picture online is mislabeled, or my item was mis-packaged. I got the color sky blue, when what I ordered was light blue. My sky blue item came in a light blue marked packaging. I am returning it and hope that in the re-order I get the right color. Sky blue is faded in spots and light blue is not. I want the one that is not faded. Also, I did need to order one size up so maybe they run a little small, not sure. Could just be me.

The sky blue vest I bought fit just like the model. I purchased the Large (14) for an 80s costuming event. I normally wear a 12/14 dress and 10/12 jeans. I am a 38 C/D and could button the bottom two but not the top two buttons. I wore it open so that was night a big deal. On the model for the sky blue vest there looks like a 2 inch separation too. The vest hit me about an inch and a half longer than on the model, I am 5’2″. The vest is very slimming covering the tummy area for shorties nicely. The price was right the denim is a perfect color and good quality. The buttons did jingle a little, as per another reviewer stated, and seemed a little cheap but did not take away from the outfit. The armholes were perfect and not to big. Great value.

I literally don’t know how I survived without this little denim vest! First of all, it fit better than I anticipated it would. It’s the perfect length, it’s fitted, but not too tight anywhere (and I’m fussy about that sort of thing…can’t stand feeling like I’m wearing a strait jacket)
It’s absolutely IDEAL for those little summer dresses that make you feel a bit more exposed than you’re comfortable with (especially before you’ve got a bit of a tan going) and it takes the “girly twee” factor of a frilly, flowery dress down a couple of notches…if that’s important to you. Which it is to me.
I’m the wrong side if 200lbs, and have a huge belly that I am very self conscious about, and this little jacket helps break things up a bit, so my belly isn’t the focal point any more.
And finally, one of the huge benefits of this vest is, that if you want to wear a dress or top that normally necessitates the use of a strapless bra, but don’t relish the thought of the bones digging relentlessly into your side fat after an hour or two, don’t! Just put on your comfy, old, favourite boulder holder, pop on that top that had weird placed straps, or that off the shoulder sun dress, top it with your denim vest, and look fantastic! No one will ever know that just beneath it you’re committing a massive fashion faux pas. You’ll look, chic and classy, and most importantly, you’ll be comfortable!

Love this vest!! High quality. Lovely color. Did run quite large for me but seller is absolutely amazing in assuring you are happy! I ended up with an XS. Excited to purchase more colors.

OK, except for this particular vest in the the dark red, I returned every other Allegra K vest that I bought. First I bought several colors in the XL, which turn out to be way too big for me with my pear-shaped body type at 5’9” and 180lbs. I returned all of the size XL Allegra K vests I bought. I also returned every Allegra K vest in size large – this style and the collarless style, because the manufacturer used bright white seam biding to finish the armholes instead of a matching color. When wearing the vest open, even in the size large the bright white seam binding shows! To me, as a seamstress from my early childhood and forward, what they did with these vests looks really cheap and unprofessional.
I don’t know how, but I happened to get this collared vest in the dark red and in size large, which fits beautifully, made with matching seam or bias binding. So, this dark red vest is the only collard Allegra K vest I kept and I won’t have to change a thing to enjoy wearing it. That is the only reason I gave this vest 5 stars. I got lucky and got a good one. If I had gotten this vest with white seam binding, I would’ve given it 2 or 3 stars, because the binding issues is pretty bad, in my opinion. Otherwise, I like the style, the colors and the fit of the large.

I ordered the black and the color is nice and dark. But the size! I ordered a small and it legit looks like a XXL. It has very wide armholes and is in no way tailored for the waist. I have no idea how some of these reviewers are wearing the same product as I received. It has no tag, so not sure if its Allegra K or not. Unfortunately, I will not be keeping this. I ordered it to go over some sundresses for work, but it fits like a trucker vest, lol. It’s so huge that even the smallest size (XS) is likely going to be too big. For reference, I’m always a S/M and 32DD/27.5 athletic

I give this vest a 3 star. Vest is super cute love the color. There are no outside or inside pockets. The arm holes are 2 different sizes making it look uneven. I will be returning due to the arm hole issue. Not sure if I want to reorder due to risk of I get the same run. Also I would like at least side pockets.
Ordered a XL 5ft 5.5inch tall. 180lbs I’m a little thicker through the middle and I have a longer torso. Fit was perfect.

There’s no way that what I got is actually a small, but I can’t fault them on the quality. I’ll take it in myself, but it’s not fitted like I was expecting. The denim is sturdy enough and the color is exactly like the picture. Honestly, the vest itself deserves a higher rating, but I can’t give it to them with how big it is.

This is a decent denim vest. I wanted one this color for a specific purpose, and it is just what I wanted. The fit is just right. It is not a heavy denim but adequate, and the garment construction is fine. I am happy with the purchase.

Pleasantly surprised at this purchase. Great little jean vest. Well made, high quality button hardware and button holes match up.
Textile: nice, light weight denim (important because some denim textiles can be stiff, uncomfortable, heavy).
Sizing: size guide is spot-on and if you follow it, you’ll get a relaxed fit with room to button up.
Recommendation: downsize if you want a fitted look.
I paired my vest with a tshirt and tulle skirt for an outdoor event. So comfortable and fun!
