However I decided to keep both of them because for the price I paid they’re pretty decent. However this is nothing even close to the quality that I would normally get at a leather shop. The leather is much thinner. However for what I paid for it it’s fine. This was kind of my own fault because I always wait too long to buy another belt. Either my belt is absolutely dead or I’m too fat to wear it so I have to get a new one. I do like my belts to be probably a little bit longer than most people. Again, for what I paid for it, this will work. With the name like Dickies, you would expect it to be made in the US but it’s not. It’s made in India.

I use this belt daily around my construction site. I even hang tools off of it at times and it has really held up. The fit and finish is also really nice with the brown color going quite well with blue working jeans. The belt also has some play and flexibility so you are not really worried about it being super tight and its quite forgiving.

Most of those belts are not real leather and they are mostly cardboard between two thin layers of synthetic material. Most of those belts wore out in under a year. These Dickies belts are strong, made well out of good materials, and will last many years. Our oldest of these belts is now 2 years old and it still looks like new. I would recommend it for anyone.

Mine last years, and I only wear Dickies belts, even with a suit or jeans. The stitching remains intact and never unravels. Eventually the buckle takes on scratches, and the belt develops rash from the hard plastic mobile phone case clip. But the trauma remains understated on this conservative looking belt. An awesome value, it is.
