This seems to be a good, tough product, able to be worn without delicate parts that break easily, unlike a number of brands. However, the clips are clearly designed to only be used with a belt. I don’t wear a belt. I don’t want to wear a belt. That’s why I’m buying suspenders. Who designs suspenders that only work with a belt?

I like these so much I bought two more pair in different colors! You will need a belt to use these since they are designed to ‘hook’ onto the belt of the wearer. Three points of connection, one backside, two up front. One size fits all since they are elastic and have the usual adjustment loop fittings which I presume covers 95 percent of the male populations size and shape. I bought my first pair about three years ago. I wear them frequently when working and they have stretched over time. But most of the stretch can be compensated for by adjusting, so far. Way better than those %^&** old style alligator clip-on suspenders. Unfortunately the price has increased lately, but still a buy.

I’d have the right size pants and belts, but because my job requires a lot of movement, my pants would always keep falling down. The strange thing with my shape is that even when I have the right sizes, if I tighten the belt, I get a bulge, or if I loosen the belt, my pants slide down. This clips over my velcro belt and allows it to be a harness for my duty belt to put over, keep it at the right height, and keep my pants from falling down. The elasticity is perfect for all sizes, especially as I’m a tall and larger man. It’s very convenient and form-fitting. Very good quality and no tears or pilling out of the box from other brands. The colors are perfect to pick from, whether the suspenders are worn under a shirt or over one. There’s one to fit your needs.
Initial impressions were positive, as it fit my Vertex pants and Kore belt just fine. With a few adjustments, the problem of buldging or falling down disappeared. I will be purchasing some more in different colors to match other outfits, and I’m very happy with the results. For reference, I’m 6’2 250lbs.

The plastic sliding adjusters are the weak points and the thin plastic has broken on each set I’ve bought. I’ve had to use industrial safety pins to keep them from sliding, though I’ve considered just sewing them permanently in place too.

The Dickies Belt Clip Stretch suspenders are a vast improvement over my Perry’s. First, they stretch, but not as easily as the Perry’s. The friction clip seems to hold very well, but time will tell if they begin to slip. The belt clip works as others do-no issues there.
These suspenders seem to remain in place and I don’t have to continually adjust them. So far, so slips.
I have used Perry suspenders that attach to your belt for several years and love them. After a time, the Perry suspenders begin to slip and I am constantly pulling on them to keep my trousers up. The friction clip may have worn out the fabric and they no longer remain in place without continual adjustment.

My husband bought these because he always wears a belt, but it never seems to be enough. He had worn the clip on type of suspenders before, but stated they were uncomfortable and honestly a pain to use. These clip onto the belt from under it, which is much easier and allows more support to keeping the pants in place than others. The clips are a thick plastic. The straps are thicker than most suspenders I have seen, but most suspenders also stretch out easy. This also allows comfort because it is designed to be used with a belt. For those who wear a belt and just need some extra support, this is a good option

Ok for my review I carry a weapon every day and with out the suspenders my pants sag so they stop the sag. I purchased and wear them most days and they last me about a year before I have to replace them. The only negative thing about them is near the end of their life they tend to stretch out like the elastic get old and they can slip down. As I said they last me about a year before I replace them. The price is good and they are good quality. You probably can send a lot more money buying more expensive suspenders but why would you when the price is right and the product works.

I haven’t used suspenders in decades because I never had good experiences with them. The metal clasps may have teeth like alligators but they would never stay put for me. As soon as I would bend over one or more clasps would let go, often the back ones, which are next to impossible to put back on without taking your pants down. These Dickies suspenders use hooks that slip under the belt and simply can’t “unsnap”. Supposedly they also work without a belt, but they came without instructions of any kind, and I can’t figure out how to make it work, but I wear a sidearm and need the belt anyway. The plastic hooks slide easily onto my belt, and when it’s time to sit down with my friend “John” they slide off just as easily, so restroom visits are not a hassle. I don’t like to wear my shirts tucked, so I wear the suspenders under my shirt. They are totally comfortable, even without an undershirt, and I often forget I’m wearing them until it’s time for a bathroom break. They appear to be well made and should last a long time.

These suspenders were OK, but not great. They had a few issues that ultimately lead me to stop wearing them. I had to have the adjustment at its longest setting and could have used at least another inch or two. I’m only 5 feet 11 inches tall, but I have short legs and a tall torso and I have a bit of a gut. I fit into a 2XLT t-shirt, which is probably the best metric for sizing these.
Aside from the size issues, the plastic hooks that clip on to my belt would dig into my back and stomach, especially while sitting. This would vary depending on what I sat on. An office chair wasn’t as bad as our couch, and sitting in a recliner while reclined was so uncomfortable with these on that I would just get up and take them off. Also, depending on the belt / belt buckle they would push the buckle into my belly which would start hurting after a few hours. Both of these problems were likely caused by the sizing issue, so your milage may vary.
They were very well made though and it was very convenient to take them on and off. I feel like had they been a little longer I would probably still wear them to work, but due to the size and the placement of the plastic clip on the back, I’m not sure if they’d ever be comfortable in a recliner, so I’d probably not wear them lounging around the house.
