Very flattering, denim feels fantastic, hugs and falls in all the right places. The straight cut is slimming on my curves and the high rise is very comfortable. Couldn’t be happier so ordered a second pair because it’s going to be hard relinquishing these to the wash.
I’m terms of size, I ordered the same size I normally wear in this brand and they are perfect. Mind you, the g star size chart only seems accurate with non stretch clothing because I seem to always need to size down for jeans.
Update to this review… following my astounding success with the black (like a dark grey) version (2 pairs yessss) I also bought the deep teal (darker blue) in the same size but they were much smaller so I’ve had to return. Wahhh. Deep Teal has 1.5 rather than 2% stretch but the size disparity around the waistband seemed greater than such a small difference would make so size up if you want the darker blue. By this I mean, view the size chart as mostly accurate for non or less stretchy pants as opposed to sizing down as I did for the stretchy black jeans.
Update 3: The faded opal colour in this style looks a little lighter than the product pics but is still very nice. In terms of size and comfort, these fit like the deep teal but the denim feels lighter. They also don’t have a much stretch as the the black version so I had to size up like I did for the teal.
The black version definitely are the most comfortable to wear and move in but the faded opal pair are excellent particularly on warmer days when lightness and the breathable characteristics of cotton are desired.

Die Jeans ist in der Taille sehr schmal. Das Material ist dick und nicht elastisch. Aber ich mag es wirklich sehr. Jeans wie früher.

The cut is just fabulous. Not tight, not loose, just right. It looks very classy. The denim is on the lightweight side, and it’s beautifully soft on the skin. I’m 5’ 8’’ and size 10. The 27W/34L has been fantastic fit.
