I like the Asher fit, but the material in these jeans is a bit thinner than another pair I own. The other pair cost over $200 so I can’t complain.

With so many choices of slim fit Joe’s Asher styles, I decided to compare two black ones: Elio and Vardy. They are really quite different. I’ll describe them and tell you my clear favorite:
ELIO: The Elio is a classic jean, updated with a slim fit. By “classic” I mean an updated far higher level version of the Levi’s tradition—metal rivets, a black suede “Joe’s” leather patch on the back, and contrasting stitching. These are the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever tried on with the typical Joe’s stretch. The black color is dark and inky, with just a hint of blue if you look carefully.
VARDY: The Vardy has a softer weave and is more of a very dark charcoal grey. Looking at either, you’d say “black” but in contrast with the Elio, it’s a lighter color. No rivets, no leather patch, no branding, and a plastic logo button. There is a tiny leather “Joe’s patch over one back pocket. While the Elio fits me perfectly, the same size Vardy is too tight below the calf and cut like a skinny jean, rather than slim. It also has a slightly lower rise—it feels like it wants to slip down my butt. The Vardy fabric is slightly thicker but not heavy.
WHICH IS BEST: JOE’S VARDY OR ELIO I’m a medium build yet with a thin built butt. The Elio feels like a second skin. Absolutely perfect as if custom tailored. The Vardy fit is just not right for me. Too tight from the knee down, and too low cut at the butt.

Love the jeans very comfy with elastic waistband. Skinny tapered pants. However not true white compared to my white pants by Mavi.
These Doveo joes jeans are off white “cream color” as you can see in the picture. But nevertheless awesome jeans. But I just wanted true white jeans. So returning.

Joe’s Jeans is a premium brand denim on par with the likes of AG, Paige, 7 for all mankind, Citizens of Humanity, and Fidelity. Honestly, I had not heard of them until coming across them on Amazon, so I was curious when I saw the Asher. It’s a slim fit (bordering on skinny fit) jean that incorporates a lot of stretch into the fabric. I’ve worn other slim fit jeans that stretch, and despite their slim fit are actually quite comfortable. The Asher from Joe’s is no exception. I like the classic 5 pocket design with minimal branding and no bedazzling on the pockets. I wouldn’t say the fit is skin tight, but it is quite form fitting. That being said, movement is free and effortless thanks to the stretch in the fabric (no pinching or binding). I’m wearing a size 36, which is what I normally wear and it fits great. The inseam is about 34 inches, which I like (I’m about 6’1″ and I like a little extra length in the leg). It’s a stylish, comfortable pair of jeans that can easily be dressed up or down. Keep in mind these are designer jeans, so they probably won’t hold up if subjected to a lot of abrasion. Still, I’m pleasantly surprised.

I own several pairs of joes jeans and these are not authentic. Joes jeans have branding leather tags, both on the back and on inside. Also the zipper isn’t as thick as my other joes jeans and the material feels cheap.
