As I’ve aged, blue jeans have lost their appeal (too heavy and restrictive). Now, I’m a big fan of cargo pants. Those pouch pockets are super useful for me. I have two pairs of another brand that I use every day. They’ve held up well, but they have Velcro closures on the pouch pockets and those have weakened with repeated washings and make the pants sloppy looking. These Lee pants have button closures that should eliminate that problem. The Lee pants are also better looking for purposes of going somewhere other than hiking or fishing. They are dressier without giving up the functionality I love. They are well-made, lightweight, and true to size. The waist is somewhat elastic which is great for me as I tend to pick up weight in winter and shed it in summer. I bought two pairs in different colors under a 7-day trial offer. I tried both on when they arrived and kept both. The pants have each been washed once, and if anything, have gotten softer and more comfortable. They are a little pricey but seem made well enough to justify that.

These fit OK and do the job – nothing spectacular – the only negative thing so far is the use of buttons on the pockets. It makes getting out my phone or my wallet a hassle when in a hurry – velcro is much easier to use and I prefer pants with velcro pocket flaps.
These pants have additional little pockets for things which I suppose could be handy; they also cause me to reach into the wrong pocket sometimes when looking for something. But that’s a minor gripe if you have a use for these extra pockets.
It’s too soon to see if these will hold up over the long term; so far they seem OK but they’re pretty light-weight and I don’t expect they’ll last as long as those with heavier fabric,

I liked the material quality, color, fit and light-weight rip stop. The size chart was accurate. I disliked the sloppy sewing and poor attention to detail during assembly. Examples include misaligned belt loops, loose threads and sloppy terminations. This pair of pants was made in Bangladesh. Every wash produces more thread-ends to cut. Will have to wear awhile to assess whether the sewing will hold up without repairs before giving more that 3-stars.

Although I prefer a regular straight fit rather than relaxed, these still fit me ok and are comfortable. Very decent cargo’s for the money … when on sale. My biggest peeve is the button pocket closures. They are ok on the side pockets but on the back, they are a p.i.t.a. Fumbling blind to button a rear pocket button is frustrating. My favorite cargo shorts are off brand and use snaps on rear and side pockets. Those are my favorite closures. If not snaps on the rear pockets, I’d happily take velcro any day over the darn button.

I bought two different pairs of these in different colors. When they arrived, I liked the pants, but the zippers didn’t work well. I thought the zippers would work better after a little use, but even after a couple of months, they aren’t better. The pants are fine, but BOTH pairs have the same zipper problems – either the zippers are just poor quality, or the zippers are being damaged in the manufacturing process. The zippers are difficult to get fully zipped up and catch and snag (on the metal – not the cloth!) in both directions. If the zippers worked better, these pants would get a 5-star review. The fit is comfortable, the pockets are useful, and they look fine. But the zippers get a 1-2 star rating, dragging the overall rating down to a 3-star rating.

Pros: Lots of pockets that are fairly deep. reinforced stitching Light weight Comfortable, almost like pajamas. Cons: no elastic in the waistband. No stretch – A different style from the same brand has same fabric blend, but is much thicker and has more stretch. This style, with the pockets sewn onto the outside of the legs, would probably look and wear better with the thicker heavier fabric, though probably not quite as comfortable.

Nice pants except they shrink, not in the waist but in length. After a number of washes they will shrink about 1 – 1.5″. Order a length size longer than usual. Unfortunately they do not make a 36″ length which is what I need. If the pants didn’t shrink I would rate them a 5. I would rate the pants a 4 if they shrank but offered a 36″ length.

I own 6 pairs of these pants (4 khaki 2 black) and I wear them to work. They are very comfortable! I work in a warehouse, and needed something that would be comfortable but also tear-resistant. I’ve ripped 2 of my oldest pairs, but they were 5+ years old and the material was starting to wear out. They are true to fit.
