This is the 2nd time I bought shorts on Amazon and the waist is somehow so much bigger than any other pair of pants or shorts I own, and they are all the same size. I ordered a size 42 and they are 2 sizes bigger than they say. Great quality on build, but unwearable because of the size being too big.

I was looking for Levi’s 569s and these popped up in the search. I bought 3 and don’t regret it one bit. Fit is good. If you had the 569s and are considering these, I’d buy em; they’re virtually the same thing. Only difference is they don’t come down as far as the 569s which means you don’t kneel on the fabric which stretches em out and stresses the fabric into thinning and eventually making holes. Plan on buying a couple more pairs.

These fit true to size. They are longer which is a requirement for my boyfriends taste! They are very comfortable and have a nice feel. The color has withstood washings and lots of wear. They are made of thick quality denim. Not stretchy. They look and feel great for a decent price.

Minus one star for the product description being mislabeled, but otherwise the shorts are fine. These are 469 shorts, not 569. I ordered larger than I normally do for a baggy fit, and in that respect, they fit me just fine as long as I wear a belt. Props to Levi for making these in Big Man sizes.

I have to first explain that I am a C6/5 quadriplegic, which puts a certain spin on my review. I have had pressure sores that I have been dealing with for 13 years, as well as a colostomy. Because of the latter I need shorts that are baggy. I’m also 6’5 tall So I need longer shorts that cover my knees to keep them from getting sunburned.
I had bought four pairs of Levi’s men’s 569 loose straight denim shorts and they have been phenomenal. Checked every box that I need from shorts in my situation. In fact, I wish they made jeans exactly the same as I would love to depend on the quality and consistency that we all expect from Levi.
In November of 2025 I became aware that these same shorts were on sale – ballpark they were being advertised at a little over $20 per pair and right now they are just under $45 a pair. So I bought four pair and was tickled to have made such a purchase! Once I received them it took a while for me to be able to get them to my seamstress who removes the rear pockets and puts fleece on the back side to reduce any friction on these healing pressure sores.
By the time she was available, picked up the shorts, took them and got them complete, dropped them off here, it was the beginning of March 2026. They were dramatically shorter and smaller than the ones that I have had and been wearing. We looked at the tags and instead of them being 569, they were 469 models.
I understand that it has been a long time since I ordered / received/got modified / was able to put a pair of these on, but this is Levi’s. If you can’t count on one of the biggest and longest running clothing lines in the United States, who can you? We expect consistency and things to be handled properly, which is why we spend more to purchase their products .
Of course they passed this one onto Amazon, saying they are the ones who fulfilled the order. Even giving me the number to actually speak with someone at Amazon. Regardless of my personal situation and what I go through / difficulties that make my situation different than someone who is able-bodied / Amazon stood on the ground that it had just been too long and there was nothing they could do.
So, had I got what I ordered, I’m sure I would be putting an outstanding review on Levi’s men’s 569 loose straight denim shorts. As for this transaction though, I can’t give a great review. I know situations like this are great for the majority of people, but in my situation there needs to be a little latitude. Which all of us need sometimes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Been Looking for These for Years — Worth Every Penny
The 569 was my go-to for a long time, so when I stumbled across these shorts on Amazon I was excited but cautious. You know how it is, could be a cheap copy, could be the real thing. I took the chance anyway.
Happy to report: 100% the real thing. That unmistakable Levi’s quality is all there. The fit, the feel, the fabric, exactly what I remembered and what I was hoping for. Been wearing them ever since they arrived and have zero complaints.
If you’re a 569 fan who’s been sleeping on these, stop hesitating. The real deal, right here on Amazon.

Voting this down after my 2nd pair. The measurements are widely off. I bought 2 of these. First ones felt great besides being a bit loose around the waist, but the hips and pockets felt great. 2nd pair fit better around the waist, but very tight around the hips and a struggle to get things out of my pockets from a sitting posision.
