These jeans are amazing – the quality is top notch. My husband has a 32” waist and is 5’8” tall. I ordered the 32/32 Dark in the Straight style. I was going to order the Relaxed fit, but I knew these had stretch and would also give over a period of time. As expected, he was initially unsure of the fit, saying they were a little too “snug.” But after wearing for several hours they definitely loosened up some. However, not to the point where they become sloppy or slovenly looking. Just the right amount of room. I have to add, these are not his first Huckberry’s. He’s owned another for several years and absolutely loves them. The construction of these jeans are well worth the cost because these will last for years. Also, something about the way these jeans are made, they just become better and better with wear, adapting to the wearer’s figure. The prior pair were a faded style – this darker rinse is an elevated look. These wash well (cold) and I usually dry on low or medium. You can find more information on the retail site, but thrilled to see them here on Amazon. I think my husband looks fantastic in these, but I already think he’s very handsome.

I got the 32×32 slim fit in dark (vintage), and they fit really well. Jeans can really vary depending on the manufacturer — my other jeans are from Banana Republic, Adriano Goldschmied, Armani Exchange, and Hudson, and these have a comparable fit. Design is nicely understated, without any garish pattern on the rear pockets. No sagginess at the rear. Waistline isn’t constricting. Overall construction, from the seams to the button and zipper, is high quality.
I had never heard of Huckberry/Flint & Tinder before, but they seem to be a fairly upscale brand (and I appreciate that they’re made in the US). Price is a bit hefty, but nothing surprising compared to other brands like Diesel or AG.
UPDATE: Knocking a star off my rating because one of the rivets just popped out after just 5 months of normal wear and tear. It’s a rivet that was associated with one of the front pockets. I don’t think it was crucial to the integrity of the jeans, but it still calls into question the durability of these jeans.

Like other reviewers, this is my first experience with the Huckberry brand. I’ve mostly worn Levi’s for most of my life. But I wanted to try a higher end brand to see the difference.
My initial impression was quite good. They look nice and I would say the 1-year wash is actually slightly darker than it appears in the product photo. The material feels rugged and has the slightest bit of stretch that helps a lot with fitment. The sizing is in line with my other jeans. I haven’t had a professional measurement in years so I can’t say if the size is exact but there weren’t any surprises of being to tight or too loose.
I have larger thighs and a smaller waist so finding jeans is always hard for me. The relaxed fit cut actually fits fairly well. As expected the waist is slightly loose but I always wear a belt anyway and the fit everywhere else is good.
Construction is flawless as far as I can tell. No loose threads or bad seams. If I have any issues with long term durability I’ll update this review but for now I’m satisfied.

These are awesome jeans. I grabbed them for my husband, who doesn’t care one way or the other about fashion, labels, fit, etc. he wants clothes that are clean and on his body. He’s short, so I grabbed his waist size, hemmed these, washed them and put them in his drawer. He put them on, and noticed how soft and comfy they were. He did comment on that. He noticed the difference between these and his usual wranglers, and that’s saying something. From my perspective, these look better, feel better, and are obviously overall better quality. I got these for my husband for the cost of tax- would I spend $100+ on jeans for my husband that doesn’t know the difference? No. However, if your spouse is fashion conscious and does care, these are worth every cent, the difference in fabric and quality is obvious in my opinion!

I’m wearing 34×32, ordered this size – slim fit, and it fits alright as expected. Amazing jeans, good quality, nice pattern – “Vintage Dye” color. Made in USA. These are premium quality jeans. Great for any long-term outdoors trip or for travel. Very flexible and stretchy around the waist area.
Absolutely zero doubts about quality here. I’m questioning how competitive these are in terms of functionality and value-add versus significantly cheaper alternatives you may find at your local wholesale retailer? If you are looking for value jeans, inexpensive options, then these jeans are probably not it… But if you are looking for unique material, pattern, colors, something that stands out, something that you won’t find elsewhere, then go for it!

Things I love about this pair of jeans:
– Flat rivets
– Super comfortable & stretchy
– Made in the USA
– Seems to be made with decent quality stitching
Things I didn’t like about these jeans:
– Waist runs a bit small (this is also true for another Huckberry item I received) – a 36 was only slightly loose on a 34 waist so size up (slightly!)
– I went with the “tailored” or “tapered” fit but… these are REALLY baggy
Things I’m indifferent about:
– They’re not as faded as the pictures indicated
– The price! ($160)
Overall, I *like* these jeans but I don’t *love* anything about them. I’m happy they’re made in the USA but other than that, I can’t justify the price point
4/5

I have not received my credit. for these jeans. They run small.

These are very comfortable and run true to size. Quality is good and stitching is tight. Rivets are set well. The little bit of stretch make these very comfortable when sitting and bending. My usual jeans are LLBean relaxed fit and I like these much better.

highly recommend them!

I own several pairs of nice jeans, but this is the first pair of men’s jeans that I have ever seen in my life that sells for more than $100. I wanted to try them to see what makes them so special. I was disappointed that they were not available in my size (36X30), so I had to order the 36X32 pair. I will just hem the pants myself to shorten them to the appropriate length. But otherwise they fit as expected. The material is quite comfortable, but no more so than some $60 jeans that I own. I understand that these jeans are American made and that a lot of care went into making them, but after wearing these for a few days I really don’t see how the price can be justified. If these jeans were $70 or less, I would recommend them highly. But at the current price very few people will be able to afford these.

Great pair of jeans with a little flex. Not too much at all. These are high quality with a great look. I wear them to work all the time. Highly recommend. Worth the money.
Christopher Yager –
Love them. Great quality and fit.

Well made, durable, look and feel great

Is hard for me to get a good fit on jeans. These are an exception. I am 5’8″, 150 and very slim from the waist down. 30w30l slim cut fits me perfectly. The quality is excellent. While the materials, stitching and rivets are similar to any other good jeans, I have to assume that the relatively high price is the result of careful tailoring so it fits as intended. My wife is telling me to reserve these for “dress jeans”.

Excellent fit and quality! Feels like a fair value for what it is, especially being made in the US. The denim is thick without being restrictive and the color is exactly what I was looking for.

The fit of these jeans is nothing short of perfection. From the waist to the length, they hug my body in all the right places. The high-quality denim material provides just the right amount of stretch, making them comfortable for all-day wear.
Not only do these jeans fit like a dream, but they also look incredibly stylish. The classic design and versatile color make them easy to pair with any top, whether I’m going for a casual or a more dressed-up look. These jeans have become my go too for any and all occasions.
While they may be slightly more expensive than some other jeans on the market, the quality and fit are worth every penny In my opinion. As my father always said, “You get what u pay for in life-and these jeans I are worth every penny and more!
