This was exactly what I wanted and needed for Texas winters doing technical services at my accounts. I’m mostly indoors so I just need a lighter coat thats not too hot and heavy since I’m in and out of car and buildings back and forth.
For most of north Texas winter time this is a perfect coat. Light but warm enough. Fit well too.

This Mr.Stream jean jacket is very good and I really like it, it has been a while since I bought or worn a jean jacket so I wanted to get this one and try it out, I am happy to report that the jacket is good and is what I was expecting and looking for. The jacket fits well and even maybe a little bit bigger, I am 5.10” and about 185 Lbs, and the jacket is slightly loose with size L, so if you prefer more one to one fit, it is probably better to go with size M, personally I see no issue with that fit as I can wear a long sleeve shirt, sweater or a hoodie underneath with just enough space for me to be able to button the jacket up.
Speaking of buttons, the ones used here are snap buttons which I am not a huge fan of, I would have preferred to see the classic metal go through buttons for better longevity and sturdiness as the snap ones tend to lose up over time and stop connecting properly.
The jacket features the classic two big front buttoned pockets and two large side pockets that are allowing you to put your hand inside even with work gloves, in addition there is a quite large inside pocket that is secured with hook and look on top and it can fit larger wallets, papers, documents, phones and other items for better security. The inner plaid fabric is very soft and provides the cozy feeling and extra insulation against the cold, even the color of it is matching and contrasting between the different jacket color options, which are five, personally I went with the classic dark blue color. Last but not least, the collar of the jacket is tall and sturdy enough to be propped up and provide extra protection from the wind, plus the bottom sleeve buttons can be adjusted for two different sizes depending on how big your hands are, finally the added extra patches on the elbows are welcome addition, as those are high wearable areas if you are using the jacket for work.
Overall, I love this jacket. It is very classy looking, very comfortable with very little negative points to talk about, the price is a little on a higher than what I would love to see, but if you catch it on a discount, I highly recommend it.

It felt hefty folded in the original packaging, but once I put it on it I could wear it all day weather permitting. It’s good protection in the cold although the coldest I’ve worn it in is the 30s. I like the pockets and placement, I don’t like that the inside pocket has Velcro for closing and opening but it’s negligible. I’ve been using this for a month and it looks good, feels comfortable, not too hot and it doesn’t leave you shivering if you’re not layered. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I am 5’6 and I ordered a Medium.
