I’m a 5’11” 165lb man with slightly short legs. I typically wear 34-30 jeans despite having a 36-37″ waist thanks to vanity sizing. These jeans were so oversized that I had to return several pairs before I found that the 31-28 fits me perfectly, albeit just very slightly too long, but I can live with that. But seriously, I wish that pants could just be sized true to standardized measurements (in or cm) rather than having to play this game.
The jeans themselves are nice. Soft, slightly stretchy fabric. I like that there are no ugly external tags, no rattly buttons or snaps, and low profile rivets that shouldn’t bend or snag on things like the ones on my Levi’s. They’re slim and “fitted” looking, but not skinny as in skin-tight. Ankle is wide enough to wear my Solovair boots (similar to Doc Martens) with them, but doesnt look flared or bell-bottomish. Now that I finally have some that fit properly, I like them.

These were my go-to jeans for the last 2 years. They fit me really well and the waste was a bit stretchy, which was nice. Unfortunately, today I ended up getting a hole in the rear/crotch area, which then opened up significantly over the course of a few hours. Not sure what the average life span is for jeans, but I got two years out of these. There ya go.

Just received these jeans (Dark Blue), and I love them already. These fit like a glove. I have muscular thighs, and they make my legs look long and sleek. The taper is perfect because I can roll them up, and make them look stylish.
YEAH.. just overall impressed with the quality. The jeans came with a CARE tag on how to wash them. I’m definitely not washing ANYTHING with them as I’m sure some dye will come off.
I am 6’2″ and 190lbs and got a 33W X 32L. The length is really in the sweet spot of looking good both rolled up and unrolled (depending on which shoes I pair with them).

I’ve been wearing these Amazon Essentials Slim-Fit Jeans for a while now and I’m genuinely surprised by how often I reach for them over my more expensive pairs. For the price, the fit is spot on—slim enough to look modern and tailored, but the 1% elastane gives just enough stretch so they don’t feel restrictive when sitting down.
What I love: One of the best ‘style’ features is that there is no visible branding or flashy stitching on the back pockets. It gives them a very clean, high-end look that works perfectly with a button-down for a business-casual office or just a t-shirt on the weekends.
The Catch: My only minor complaint is that the sizing can vary slightly between colors. I bought a second pair in a different wash and they felt a tiny bit tighter in the waist, though they did stretch out after a few hours of wear.
Verdict: If you want a stylish, reliable pair of jeans without the ‘big brand’ markup, these are hard to beat.

Bought these because they were offered in 31 length. I’ve never tried slim fit jeans, and they are not for me. I guess some men wear them, but they fit tight around the leg like a woman would wear, not comfortable. I prefer carpenter jeans though I’ve worn out a lot of Levi’s. They seem to be fairly well made, good thickness and weight. There are rivets around the pockets like more expensive jeans used to have. I have bought Levi 505 lately and not happy with them at all. The seams on the legs of them twist around from the side to the front, $60+ pants that look terrible. That’s why I’m looking for a new brand to buy. Unfortunately, I have to return these because of length. They are just as long as my 32 in length other pants, and I don’t like the way they fit. Just for fun, my wife tried them on. They fit her quite nicely and looked good on her. She was tempted to keep them, but they were too loose around the waist on her, and she doesn’t want to wear a belt. Overall, good value for the money if you like that kind of fit.
I have since found Levi Signature Carpenter jeans at Walmart for believe it or not, around$25. I have not been able to find them anywhere else. They are however rather light weight, and the 32 is a little long, but 30 is too short. Wish I could find a true 31 in inseam pant that looks good.

This is the second pair I bought, this time in Black (32W x 33L). The size and fit are the same excellent slim cut as the medium wash version. The Black is a nice, solid color that looks semi-dressy.
The stretchiness is perfect—it makes these incredibly comfortable to wear all day. The material is soft and light for denim. For functionality, they are easily dressed up or down. As for long-term durability, based on my medium wash pair, they hold up very well, resisting bagging out in the knees and seat. Highly recommend this exact fit and material combination.

As a guy who doesn’t wear slim fit a lot, im just gonna say these make like that style, I have big legs from running so I thought these were going to be tight but they aren’t, very nice quality, the color is very nice, and they are true to size, they aren’t tight at all and you could wear them to work, to a movie or to a dinner date, price is incredibly good for the quality they have, ended up liking them a lot, will definitely get some different color and style on the next time I shop for jeans, recommended if your budget is tight and need to buy denim

Listen up, Not a Clothing guy at all. These are a Cross between Levis and Lee. Soft but not terribly soft but Durable. I think these are a homerun. Nicely done fit well 35x 30 a bit of Stretchy material but look and feel great. Way less than Competitors and just as good. We are no longer Mining so I think everyday use is fine. Dad Clohing or Bar hopping Just fine, Sliding down a mine shaft is suspect. Overall wear and appearance is Just fine.

My son is 6′ and 113 lbs. Very hard to find affordable Jean’s for him. His normal brand is Levi’s 511. He needs a 28×34 and those are impossible to find so he wears the 29×32 and they are getting too short and I am so tired of stretching and air drying his clothes. Ordered the 29×34 Levis from Amazon, while a great price, they were way to long (having them shortened is an option, but more time and money). So I ordered this Amazon brand. They fit good. Slightly wider in the leg than the 511s, but he still likes them and he is very picky about slim fitting legs and looking stylish. The material is soft, lighter weight and a bit stretchy compared to the Levi’s. The color is dark. Very plain pockets and no bulky brand Tags. I have only washed them once so not sure about fading yet. I will try to update on the fading in a few months. I was able to DRY them! Not much shrinkage and dried very nice on low setting. They say you can dry on medium as well. As of right now I would purchase again for the price and quality. Frankly I’m just happy I can dry them.

Good, but not ultimate quality – but this is reflected in the price. Also a good overall fit. The real benefit for me is that as I’m short for a male (165cm/ or 5ft 5 or so in old money) these are the only pants I’ve ever (at age 65) been able to buy with an inner leg that fitted properly right out of the box. It is sooo good to be able to avoid the hassle of having to have them shortened.

Normalerweise trage ich (1,80m, knapp unter 70kg), 32/34 mit Gürtel, denn eine 34er Länge findet man eher selten mit schmalerer Taille. Aber hier haben wir sie, die 31/34. Endlich mal eine Hose, die ich ohne Gürtel oder Hosenträger anziehen kann. Die Passform ist genau richtig für mich. Obenrum hält sie ohne zu rutschen oder zu drücken. Der Stoff ist ganz leicht elastisch und fühlt sich auch beim ersten Anziehen nicht steif an. Sehr gut. Untenrum kann die Hose gut über die Sneaker fallen, aber ist auch lang genug, um sie zur Kombination mit Stiefeln einmal umzuschlagen. Ich kann keine unsauberen Nähte oder abstehende Fäden erkennen. Für die 30€ kann ich die Jeans voll und ganz empfehlen, obwohl man vielleicht nicht darüber nachdenken möchte, unter welchen Bedingungen sie (in Indien) hergestellt wurde.

I suggest this slim fit jean. Tapers nicely and has a much better style then the athletic or relaxed fit. Far more stylish. A much smaller ankle diameter then athletic called taper. Nice quality over all..
material: nice and fairly think with ‘some’ stretch for mobility and comfort. Sometimes stretch jeans dont look like denim. These do.
I’ve noticed that almost all essential jeans are mis-cut. That means that the stack is cut and it becomes off resulting in a zipper that goes off to the side. That is a poorly manufactured pant. I suggest you send them back if the zipper isn’t straight up and down.

I purchased two pairs of the Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-Fit Jeans — one in Washed Gray and one in Dark Wash — and I’m extremely impressed. The denim quality is excellent: soft, a little stretchy, and surprisingly thick and durable for the price. They feel well-made all around.
What I appreciate most is the wide range of sizes. I can never find my size (36W x 31L) in stores, but these fit perfectly. The waist is spot-on, and the length is ideal for my long legs without being too long. The slim fit is more comfortable and better-looking than other brands I’ve tried.
Overall, I’m just really happy to have finally found high-quality jeans that fit this well — and at such an unbelievably low price. I bought two pairs already and will definitely be purchasing more.

I’m actually super impressed with these jeans. I ordered these because any time I’ve gone to the mall or department store I could NEVER find the Levi’s slim fit taper jeans in my size 36/32. If memory serves me correctly I think these Amazon brand were around 30 bucks and I can’t believe the comfort and quality. I actually think they’re more comfortable than the Levi’s! These are softer and have a TON of stretch so if you’re bending over or steering your legs in weird angle there isn’t too much stress on them. My Levi’s would always rip in the crotch area after about 2 years or wear.
So far I’ve had a few of these Amazon basics jeans for just over a year. I’ve also started buying a bunch of Amazon basics clothing for work now and am very impressed with these durability so far.
MAKE SURE YOU WASH THEM BY THEMSELVES, these have a ton of dye in them and should be washed separately from other cloths before you wear them if for first wash
The only knock I’d have on them is one of the 3 pairs I have isn’t as slim fitting as it used to be, it’s is still super comfortable and no signs of wear so it’s absolutely worth the price.

I’ve struggled for years to buy jeans for my shorter than average legs 🙂 and these fit perfectly.
The fit is great for me and seems true to size. I was a little worried when others said they run tight on the waist or longer, but I have neither of those issues.
Also, I put them through a wash when first buying them and they seem to have held up well. Some have said the jeans have a bad smell but I don’t have that problem with these.
Overall very happy and I feel these are great value for money as they fit without any alterations. I’ll see how long they last and if they hold up I’ll be buying several more.

For the price, these seem to be a good deal. They are true to size, fit well, and look good but they have a awful chemical smell to them. I have wash them 6 times and presoaked them in the sink with soap and softener but the smell remains. Not as strong but still noticeable! The zipper is also strange because it is shorter than normal, causing you to have to unbutton your pants.

I will start by saying that the pants fit great! For the price the quality is great. I will definitely buy another pair. My only complaint is that they had dog hair on them. I would assume that someone else bought them and tried them on and then returned them which is completely understandable. The problem is that there was visible white dog hair on the pants; front and back. Not sure how you resell them and send them out to the next person when you can clearly see there is dog hair on them. Yes, I can easily clean them and they would be good to go, but I didn’t buy brand new pants with dog hair. I bought brand new pants without dog hair. Call me petty, but just being honest.

I’m 6‘4“, 200 pounds, I got size 36/32, really like the jeans like how they look and how they fit around calfs and size. My only issue is the waistband. It was around 2 inches too big and whenever I would put a belt to make it tighter, it would all crumble up. Overall quality good though.

I was hesitant at first to order these jeans by the mixed reviews. These jeans are awesome. I’m 6’ 3” tall, I ordered them 36”W x 34”L. They fit perfectly. True to size. I guess these are from Amazon as they are called Amazon Essentials. I was hesitant with them not being Levi’s or Wrangler but thought I would give them a try. I bought a pair of white and a pair of gray. I love that the waist has some elastic to it. I didn’t think they fit too low on the waist like some others said. They fit normal to me. Nice depth of pockets and material is soft to the touch.

I was skeptical with purchasing these jeans due to the price. After having the jeans on 2 hours I took a seat and looked down the seam below the zipper busted open and crumbled. They fit great and the quality seems to be good. Maybe I got the bad one out of the bunch. Other than that they are some good jeans.

I’ve always found jeans a bit tricky to shop for – it’s often difficult to find a comfortable fit. I decided to give the Amazon Essentials jeans a try as I’ve had success with their other items such as t-shirts, and I’m glad I did. The fit is comfortable and they feel durable and of high quality. I really like these Jeans, very well made even though they are closer to a skinny jean than a thin man’s Jean. I was looking for an equivalent to Levy’s 513 that I read they will soon be discontinuing. I bought just one pair to try, and I will keep them, in hopes they will loosen up a little with a couple washings. I may come in and update in a few weeks. But nice looking, great material, and not a bad fit, just a little too snug in the legs for me. No tags at all on the outside, which I like very much. They stretch just enough to give you some room, again, nice. Very nice jeans overall. UPDATE 5-17-2019 Washed in cold water/dried them in the dryer. First and only time… Now these jeans are truly skinny jeans, LOL…It’s like putting on a pair of canvas leggings. I will not be able to wear these any more…sad face… But I may try the regular fit, if they have them. Why did they make thin leg jeans so skinny?

I really like high quality/designer clothes, but I’ve been slimming down and didn’t want to pay $200 each to replace my jeans. Gave these a try and so glad I did. The fit is perfect and the finish is great looking. No labels on the outside, you really can’t tell the difference. These will be my go to jeans now.

The jeans are well-made of quality material and they are nicely fitted through the seat and thigh. They are, however, VERY high-waisted and the flies are quite short: The bottom of the zipper is WELL above the top of my boy-toy, requiring me to drop trou to use a urinal! I did not notice this when the jeans arrived – it wasn’t until I’d worn them for most of a day that I realized that this design-flaw might be problematic…

I’m a 5’11” 165lb man with slightly short legs. I typically wear 34-30 jeans despite having a 36-37″ waist thanks to vanity sizing.
These jeans were so oversized that I had to return several pairs before I found that the 31-28 fits me perfectly, albeit just very slightly too long, but I can live with that. But seriously, I wish that pants could just be sized true to standardized measurements (in or cm) rather than having to play this game.
The jeans themselves are nice. Soft, slightly stretchy fabric. I like that there are no ugly external tags, no rattly buttons or snaps, and low profile rivets that shouldn’t bend or snag on things like the ones on my Levi’s. They’re slim and “fitted” looking, but not skinny as in skin-tight. Ankle is wide enough to wear my Solovair boots (similar to Doc Martens) with them, but doesnt look flared or bell-bottomish. Now that I finally have some that fit properly, I like them.

These were my go-to jeans for the last 2 years. They fit me really well and the waste was a bit stretchy, which was nice. Unfortunately, today I ended up getting a hole in the rear/crotch area, which then opened up significantly over the course of a few hours. Not sure what the average life span is for jeans, but I got two years out of these. There ya go.

Just received these jeans (Dark Blue), and I love them already. These fit like a glove. I have muscular thighs, and they make my legs look long and sleek. The taper is perfect because I can roll them up, and make them look stylish.
YEAH.. just overall impressed with the quality. The jeans came with a CARE tag on how to wash them. I’m definitely not washing ANYTHING with them as I’m sure some dye will come off.
I am 6’2″ and 190lbs and got a 33W X 32L. The length is really in the sweet spot of looking good both rolled up and unrolled (depending on which shoes I pair with them).

I’ve been wearing these Amazon Essentials Slim-Fit Jeans for a while now and I’m genuinely surprised by how often I reach for them over my more expensive pairs. For the price, the fit is spot on—slim enough to look modern and tailored, but the 1% elastane gives just enough stretch so they don’t feel restrictive when sitting down.
What I love: One of the best ‘style’ features is that there is no visible branding or flashy stitching on the back pockets. It gives them a very clean, high-end look that works perfectly with a button-down for a business-casual office or just a t-shirt on the weekends.
The Catch: My only minor complaint is that the sizing can vary slightly between colors. I bought a second pair in a different wash and they felt a tiny bit tighter in the waist, though they did stretch out after a few hours of wear.
Verdict: If you want a stylish, reliable pair of jeans without the ‘big brand’ markup, these are hard to beat.

Bought these because they were offered in 31 length. I’ve never tried slim fit jeans, and they are not for me. I guess some men wear them, but they fit tight around the leg like a woman would wear, not comfortable. I prefer carpenter jeans though I’ve worn out a lot of Levi’s. They seem to be fairly well made, good thickness and weight. There are rivets around the pockets like more expensive jeans used to have. I have bought Levi 505 lately and not happy with them at all. The seams on the legs of them twist around from the side to the front, $60+ pants that look terrible. That’s why I’m looking for a new brand to buy.
Unfortunately, I have to return these because of length. They are just as long as my 32 in length other pants, and I don’t like the way they fit.
Just for fun, my wife tried them on. They fit her quite nicely and looked good on her. She was tempted to keep them, but they were too loose around the waist on her, and she doesn’t want to wear a belt.
Overall, good value for the money if you like that kind of fit.
I have since found Levi Signature Carpenter jeans at Walmart for believe it or not, around$25. I have not been able to find them anywhere else. They are however rather light weight, and the 32 is a little long, but 30 is too short. Wish I could find a true 31 in inseam pant that looks good.

This is the second pair I bought, this time in Black (32W x 33L). The size and fit are the same excellent slim cut as the medium wash version. The Black is a nice, solid color that looks semi-dressy.
The stretchiness is perfect—it makes these incredibly comfortable to wear all day. The material is soft and light for denim. For functionality, they are easily dressed up or down. As for long-term durability, based on my medium wash pair, they hold up very well, resisting bagging out in the knees and seat. Highly recommend this exact fit and material combination.

Listen up, Not a Clothing guy at all. These are a Cross between Levis and Lee. Soft but not terribly soft but Durable. I think these are a homerun. Nicely done fit well 35x 30 a bit of Stretchy material but look and feel great. Way less than Competitors and just as good. We are no longer Mining so I think everyday use is fine. Dad Clohing or Bar hopping Just fine, Sliding down a mine shaft is suspect. Overall wear and appearance is Just fine.

My son is 6′ and 113 lbs. Very hard to find affordable Jean’s for him. His normal brand is Levi’s 511. He needs a 28×34 and those are impossible to find so he wears the 29×32 and they are getting too short and I am so tired of stretching and air drying his clothes. Ordered the 29×34 Levis from Amazon, while a great price, they were way to long (having them shortened is an option, but more time and money). So I ordered this Amazon brand. They fit good. Slightly wider in the leg than the 511s, but he still likes them and he is very picky about slim fitting legs and looking stylish. The material is soft, lighter weight and a bit stretchy compared to the Levi’s. The color is dark. Very plain pockets and no bulky brand Tags. I have only washed them once so not sure about fading yet. I will try to update on the fading in a few months. I was able to DRY them! Not much shrinkage and dried very nice on low setting. They say you can dry on medium as well. As of right now I would purchase again for the price and quality. Frankly I’m just happy I can dry them.

Good, but not ultimate quality – but this is reflected in the price. Also a good overall fit. The real benefit for me is that as I’m short for a male (165cm/ or 5ft 5 or so in old money) these are the only pants I’ve ever (at age 65) been able to buy with an inner leg that fitted properly right out of the box. It is sooo good to be able to avoid the hassle of having to have them shortened.

Normalerweise trage ich (1,80m, knapp unter 70kg), 32/34 mit Gürtel, denn eine 34er Länge findet man eher selten mit schmalerer Taille.
Aber hier haben wir sie, die 31/34. Endlich mal eine Hose, die ich ohne Gürtel oder Hosenträger anziehen kann. Die Passform ist genau richtig für mich. Obenrum hält sie ohne zu rutschen oder zu drücken. Der Stoff ist ganz leicht elastisch und fühlt sich auch beim ersten Anziehen nicht steif an. Sehr gut.
Untenrum kann die Hose gut über die Sneaker fallen, aber ist auch lang genug, um sie zur Kombination mit Stiefeln einmal umzuschlagen.
Ich kann keine unsauberen Nähte oder abstehende Fäden erkennen.
Für die 30€ kann ich die Jeans voll und ganz empfehlen, obwohl man vielleicht nicht darüber nachdenken möchte, unter welchen Bedingungen sie (in Indien) hergestellt wurde.

I suggest this slim fit jean. Tapers nicely and has a much better style then the athletic or relaxed fit. Far more stylish. A much smaller ankle diameter then athletic called taper. Nice quality over all..
material: nice and fairly think with ‘some’ stretch for mobility and comfort. Sometimes stretch jeans dont look like denim. These do.
I’ve noticed that almost all essential jeans are mis-cut. That means that the stack is cut and it becomes off resulting in a zipper that goes off to the side. That is a poorly manufactured pant. I suggest you send them back if the zipper isn’t straight up and down.

I purchased two pairs of the Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-Fit Jeans — one in Washed Gray and one in Dark Wash — and I’m extremely impressed. The denim quality is excellent: soft, a little stretchy, and surprisingly thick and durable for the price. They feel well-made all around.
What I appreciate most is the wide range of sizes. I can never find my size (36W x 31L) in stores, but these fit perfectly. The waist is spot-on, and the length is ideal for my long legs without being too long. The slim fit is more comfortable and better-looking than other brands I’ve tried.
Overall, I’m just really happy to have finally found high-quality jeans that fit this well — and at such an unbelievably low price. I bought two pairs already and will definitely be purchasing more.

If memory serves me correctly I think these Amazon brand were around 30 bucks and I can’t believe the comfort and quality. I actually think they’re more comfortable than the Levi’s! These are softer and have a TON of stretch so if you’re bending over or steering your legs in weird angle there isn’t too much stress on them. My Levi’s would always rip in the crotch area after about 2 years or wear.
So far I’ve had a few of these Amazon basics jeans for just over a year. I’ve also started buying a bunch of Amazon basics clothing for work now and am very impressed with these durability so far.
MAKE SURE YOU WASH THEM BY THEMSELVES, these have a ton of dye in them and should be washed separately from other cloths before you wear them if for first wash
The only knock I’d have on them is one of the 3 pairs I have isn’t as slim fitting as it used to be, it’s is still super comfortable and no signs of wear so it’s absolutely worth the price.

I’ve struggled for years to buy jeans for my shorter than average legs 🙂 and these fit perfectly.
The fit is great for me and seems true to size. I was a little worried when others said they run tight on the waist or longer, but I have neither of those issues.
Also, I put them through a wash when first buying them and they seem to have held up well. Some have said the jeans have a bad smell but I don’t have that problem with these.
Overall very happy and I feel these are great value for money as they fit without any alterations. I’ll see how long they last and if they hold up I’ll be buying several more.

For the price, these seem to be a good deal. They are true to size, fit well, and look good but they have a awful chemical smell to them. I have wash them 6 times and presoaked them in the sink with soap and softener but the smell remains. Not as strong but still noticeable! The zipper is also strange because it is shorter than normal, causing you to have to unbutton your pants.

I will start by saying that the pants fit great! For the price the quality is great. I will definitely buy another pair. My only complaint is that they had dog hair on them. I would assume that someone else bought them and tried them on and then returned them which is completely understandable. The problem is that there was visible white dog hair on the pants; front and back. Not sure how you resell them and send them out to the next person when you can clearly see there is dog hair on them. Yes, I can easily clean them and they would be good to go, but I didn’t buy brand new pants with dog hair. I bought brand new pants without dog hair. Call me petty, but just being honest.

I’m 6‘4“, 200 pounds, I got size 36/32, really like the jeans like how they look and how they fit around calfs and size. My only issue is the waistband. It was around 2 inches too big and whenever I would put a belt to make it tighter, it would all crumble up. Overall quality good though.

I was hesitant at first to order these jeans by the mixed reviews. These jeans are awesome. I’m 6’ 3” tall, I ordered them 36”W x 34”L. They fit perfectly. True to size. I guess these are from Amazon as they are called Amazon Essentials. I was hesitant with them not being Levi’s or Wrangler but thought I would give them a try. I bought a pair of white and a pair of gray. I love that the waist has some elastic to it. I didn’t think they fit too low on the waist like some others said. They fit normal to me. Nice depth of pockets and material is soft to the touch.

I was skeptical with purchasing these jeans due to the price. After having the jeans on 2 hours I took a seat and looked down the seam below the zipper busted open and crumbled. They fit great and the quality seems to be good. Maybe I got the bad one out of the bunch. Other than that they are some good jeans.

I really like these Jeans, very well made even though they are closer to a skinny jean than a thin man’s Jean. I was looking for an equivalent to Levy’s 513 that I read they will soon be discontinuing. I bought just one pair to try, and I will keep them, in hopes they will loosen up a little with a couple washings. I may come in and update in a few weeks. But nice looking, great material, and not a bad fit, just a little too snug in the legs for me. No tags at all on the outside, which I like very much. They stretch just enough to give you some room, again, nice. Very nice jeans overall.

Washed in cold water/dried them in the dryer. First and only time… Now these jeans are truly skinny jeans, LOL…It’s like putting on a pair of canvas leggings. I will not be able to wear these any more…sad face… But I may try the regular fit, if they have them. Why did they make thin leg jeans so skinny?
