The fit was spot on and nice color. Good quality and not too stiff or thick. Great price too.

FINALLY…AT 59 TEARS OLD! FIRST TIME I BUY A PAIR OF JEANS I DON’T NEED TO SHORTEN! I LOVE THE FIT THE STYLE…I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE MORE IN STOCK!
Gordon Insley –
I bought a pair of these jeans to try and find a great fitting pair of jeans. I had tried a few of the name brands without any success. So these arrived and they fit perfectly, washed them and wore them again. Same perfect fit so I ordered 2 more pair and what really impressed me was the fit is exactly the same on all 3 pair, a rare find these days. These are “real” jeans, nice weight denim and only 1% spandex and hold up great through washing and drying still favorite due to the comfort of these jeans, almost like wearing swears! Also hold up for 2 or 3 wearings without the knees and boots getting baggy.

I am tired of buying jeans at stores. They never have my length anymore, which is 28″ and I was so glad to have finally found a source that actually has my length and in stock! I went to Levi’s website, and a few others and nada. Amazon had them.
The fit feels good. I love wearing them. Easy to clean. However, if you get them slightly dirty with dust from cleaning the house, it’s harder to shake off than typical jeans. Maybe it’s because these are the black version.
Overall, great fit, excellent price, and my size stocked! Highly recommend.

Ok, so this is just a bad product, not terrible or the worst ever or anything silly like that, just bad.
I ordered a few pairs online because I know my size well, and I have never had significant issues with it after 42 years. No matter what, if I order a 30 x 30, I will get a pair that fits. For some brands, the fit might be a little different depending on the cut and stuff, but I have never gotten a pair that I could not wear.
And then I met Amazon pants (trousers). The first set of 4 that I ordered in 30 x 30 in the indigo wash, all 4 at least were the same size which is good, but all 4 were far too small. After washing them the first time I tried them on, and both the waist and the length were off. Ok, that was my bad I figure, so I order 1 more pair this time in the 32 x 32 in the indigo wash, and 1 pair in the light wash also in 32 x 32, the next largest size in both dimensions as both dimensions were off. Seems reasonable.
Got the new indigo wash pair in, and it was too big. Amazon alone of all the clothing companies I have ever owned seems to think the size I am should be I guess a 31 x 31, a size I so far have been unable to find. But low and behold the 32 x 32 is pretty good, the length is a bit off but the waist is good.
Ok, that sucks, but they are not so bad that I can’t wear them at all, the too-small ones were, but you can wear too-big. So keep them I did and I have now had them for exactly 43 days. I have worn them a bit, but as with most people, I think, I have other pants and have simply added them to the rotation. I also have not taken a hammer, beating stick, or anything else I can think of that should have affected durability this quickly. But they are now falling apart. I noticed something hard in my shoe yesterday, dumped it out and it turned out to be one of the “rivets” at the corners of the pockets. Checked both pairs, and both are missing at least 2. Also, there are some small frayed threads here and there, but I think that is mostly normal. Not something I would expect in the first two months of normal wear.
Long story short, until someone purchases one of each color of these, be warned. The sizes may be somewhat off or perhaps ridiculously off of what you would think are normal sizes. At least with the indigo wash, I would recommend avoiding them as the sizes I think were tampered with by someone who should not have done so, but of course, I have a small sample size so just proceed with caution. The light wash seems to be mostly on track with what sizes actually are, though, of course, your results may vary. The quality on the other hand, again with the caveat of small sample size, but across two pairs from seemingly entirely different lines since the sizes are so different, to have quality issues on 2/2 units is exceptionally bad from a QC standpoint.
I do appreciate Amazon stepping in with a lot of the basic items to give some competition, but I have had some pants that I am pretty sure came from third-world countries and such, especially in the 80s and 90s, and these are the worst I have ever owned. Save your money, and buy some Levi’s that will actually make it through the first few years without falling apart on your body. This one may well be another failure that they have stopped caring about and are just trying to get costs back out of at this point.

I decided to try a pair of these jeans because it’s very hard to find a 33W x 29L. My initial impression is that the size is fine but I’m not expecting them to last a year. The fly itself is short and the zipper is not of good quality. The back pockets are smaller than normal and they don’t appear to be reinforced at the stress points. Hoping I’m wrong, but I give ’em about 6 months.
Zoriontsu –
I have been wearing Levi’s, J Crew, and Diamond Gusset jeans for years.
J Crew fit well, but last 6-8 months of wear before falling apart.
Levi’s fit OK and last a year or so.
Diamond Gusset last many years, but fit like a sack of potatoes (I bought them primarily to ride my bike)
These Amazon Essentials are great looking, fit awesome, and so far, 5 months of daily wear, they still look great.
If I get 12 months from them, but paid 1/3 of the Levi’s/J Crews I will be super happy.
New Jersey Oracle –
From the minute they went on, it was comfort and fit…room in the seat and a slim-fit taper in the legs that looks great and fit well. Inseam was perfect…fabric is light and durable, not stiff. Looks great with a belt. A keeper!
David –
I bought the blue ones before and they seemed roomier or more stretchy than the grey ones. Love that I can order my exact waist and inseam (I’m short) though. Also wish the small front ‘extra’ pocket was a little deeper. On Levi’s 511s that pocket is deeper and fits a car fob better. I’m afraid of losing my key if I use that pocket with these and the blue ones were the same in this respect.
Booger face –
Really good pair of pants… I had to shrink them on purpose to get a more fitted look though… But they are very nice pants for the price… They are low rise so I liked that… The fit could be a little bit snugger but like I said wash them in hot water and dry them hot and they shrink well and have a better fit… Nice thickness on the denim, not like thin cheap Chinese jeans… Very comfortable… I would compare it to a Levis 511 unwashed… So I’m expecting these to fit better after many washes…

Listen up, Not a Clothing guy at all. These are a Cross between Levis and Lee. Soft but not terribly soft but Durable. I think these are a homerun. Nicely done fit well 35x 30 a bit of Stretchy material but look and feel great. Way less than Competitors and just as good. We are no longer Mining so I think everyday use is fine. Dad Clohing or Bar hopping Just fine, Sliding down a mine shaft is suspect. Overall wear and appearance is Just fine.

These wear like Jama-jeans. They might be good for women, or men with very small male parts. The description says 99% Cotton, 1% Elastane. That is a blatant lie. It feels more like 90% Cotton, 10% Elastane. I think the latter is a better description. These don’t actually fit and rely on the stretchiness to make them wearable. There is not enough room for proper male equipment in the front across the crotch. I got a 33-34, and the way they fit is high in the front, and low in the back, so they smash your junk in the front while showing off your crack in the back. The length is good and the leg opening works at 7.5″. I can only wear these for an hour before I have serious pain in my crotch. If you have any muscles in the thigh, they will be skin-tight there. I liked the price, and was lured in by the 99% cotton claim, but these are actually just a pair of super stretchy men’s Jama-jeans.

Good, but not ultimate quality – but this is reflected in the price. Also a good overall fit. The real benefit for me is that as I’m short for a male (165cm/ or 5ft 5 or so in old money) these are the only pants I’ve ever (at age 65) been able to buy with an inner leg that fitted properly right out of the box. It is sooo good to be able to avoid the hassle of having to have them shortened.

I’ve been wearing these Amazon Essentials Slim-Fit Jeans for a while now and I’m genuinely surprised by how often I reach for them over my more expensive pairs. For the price, the fit is spot on—slim enough to look modern and tailored, but the 1% elastane gives just enough stretch so they don’t feel restrictive when sitting down.
What I love: One of the best ‘style’ features is that there is no visible branding or flashy stitching on the back pockets. It gives them a very clean, high-end look that works perfectly with a button-down for a business-casual office or just a t-shirt on the weekends.
The Catch: My only minor complaint is that the sizing can vary slightly between colors. I bought a second pair in a different wash and they felt a tiny bit tighter in the waist, though they did stretch out after a few hours of wear.
Verdict: If you want a stylish, reliable pair of jeans without the ‘big brand’ markup, these are hard to beat.

As a guy who doesn’t wear slim fit a lot, im just gonna say these make like that style, I have big legs from running so I thought these were going to be tight but they aren’t, very nice quality, the color is very nice, and they are true to size, they aren’t tight at all and you could wear them to work, to a movie or to a dinner date, price is incredibly good for the quality they have, ended up liking them a lot, will definitely get some different color and style on the next time I shop for jeans, recommended if your budget is tight and need to buy denim

I was hesitant at first to order these jeans by the mixed reviews. These jeans are awesome. I’m 6’ 3” tall, I ordered them 36”W x 34”L. They fit perfectly. True to size. I guess these are from Amazon as they are called Amazon Essentials. I was hesitant with them not being Levi’s or Wrangler but thought I would give them a try. I bought a pair of white and a pair of gray. I love that the waist has some elastic to it. I didn’t think they fit too low on the waist like some others said. They fit normal to me. Nice depth of pockets and material is soft to the touch.
Lashea T –
OK, so the fit is absolute incredible. And being able to get a 31 in length is something that I haven’t been able to find so I really appreciate the sizing assortment. The jeans that I ordered were supposed to have a little bit more of a fade than what was pictured however, I’m still pretty happy with them. One minor complaint is there’s not a whole lot of stretch in them. Pretty blown away by the quality you’re getting for the price.

I was skeptical with purchasing these jeans due to the price. After having the jeans on 2 hours I took a seat and looked down the seam below the zipper busted open and crumbled. They fit great and the quality seems to be good. Maybe I got the bad one out of the bunch. Other than that they are some good jeans.
Summer McClendon –
Bought these because they were offered in 31 length. I’ve never tried slim fit jeans, and they are not for me. I guess some men wear them, but they fit tight around the leg like a woman would wear, not comfortable. I prefer carpenter jeans though I’ve worn out a lot of Levi’s. They seem to be fairly well made, good thickness and weight. There are rivets around the pockets like more expensive jeans used to have. I have bought Levi 505 lately and not happy with them at all. The seams on the legs of them twist around from the side to the front, $60+ pants that look terrible. That’s why I’m looking for a new brand to buy.
Unfortunately, I have to return these because of length. They are just as long as my 32 in length other pants, and I don’t like the way they fit.
Just for fun, my wife tried them on. They fit her quite nicely and looked good on her. She was tempted to keep them, but they were too loose around the waist on her, and she doesn’t want to wear a belt.
Overall, good value for the money if you like that kind of fit.
I have since found Levi Signature Carpenter jeans at Walmart for believe it or not, around$25. I have not been able to find them anywhere else. They are however rather light weight, and the 32 is a little long, but 30 is too short. Wish I could find a true 31 in inseam pant that looks good.

This is the second pair I bought, this time in Black (32W x 33L). The size and fit are the same excellent slim cut as the medium wash version. The Black is a nice, solid color that looks semi-dressy.
The stretchiness is perfect—it makes these incredibly comfortable to wear all day. The material is soft and light for denim. For functionality, they are easily dressed up or down. As for long-term durability, based on my medium wash pair, they hold up very well, resisting bagging out in the knees and seat. Highly recommend this exact fit and material combination.

For the price, these seem to be a good deal. They are true to size, fit well, and look good but they have a awful chemical smell to them. I have wash them 6 times and presoaked them in the sink with soap and softener but the smell remains. Not as strong but still noticeable! The zipper is also strange because it is shorter than normal, causing you to have to unbutton your pants.

I purchased two pairs of the Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-Fit Jeans — one in Washed Gray and one in Dark Wash — and I’m extremely impressed. The denim quality is excellent: soft, a little stretchy, and surprisingly thick and durable for the price. They feel well-made all around.
What I appreciate most is the wide range of sizes. I can never find my size (36W x 31L) in stores, but these fit perfectly. The waist is spot-on, and the length is ideal for my long legs without being too long. The slim fit is more comfortable and better-looking than other brands I’ve tried.
Overall, I’m just really happy to have finally found high-quality jeans that fit this well — and at such an unbelievably low price. I bought two pairs already and will definitely be purchasing more.

I suggest this slim fit jean. Tapers nicely and has a much better style then the athletic or relaxed fit. Far more stylish. A much smaller ankle diameter then athletic called taper. Nice quality over all..
material: nice and fairly think with ‘some’ stretch for mobility and comfort. Sometimes stretch jeans dont look like denim. These do.
I’ve noticed that almost all essential jeans are mis-cut. That means that the stack is cut and it becomes off resulting in a zipper that goes off to the side. That is a poorly manufactured pant. I suggest you send them back if the zipper isn’t straight up and down.

Bought two pairs of these in the exact same size and fit. The quality of both pairs is exceptionally good regardless of price. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the cut through the hips of one pair is completely different than the other. So, I’ll wear the true slim fit pair for the occasions that I bought them for, and the second pair will become work pants because they’re too baggy.

Received as described, excellent material, excellent, and fit, excellent length, excellent delivery, excellent value, excellent seller, would buy from them again.

Great fit and excellent quality jeans
I bought these jeans for my husband and he’s very happy with them. They fit really well and look great on him. I love that you can choose both waist and length, as well as the color — it makes finding the perfect fit much easier. The fabric feels good and they wash extremely well, without leaving those annoying wash marks that many jeans get. Overall, great quality for the price and we would definitely buy them again

I had really stopped wearing jeans for joggers about 8 years ago but thought id try these as im getting tired of the joggers and I am very happy with them. Very comfortable and fit good even though I opted for the inseam over the width and I got them a little big but I use one of them stretchy belts and it works good the jeans are kind of stretchy too and with the width I dont have to undo anything to use the bathroom 🙂
Anyway I recommend these for anyone that wants comfortable jeans that imo look good.

The only complaint I have about these jeans is that that are a little stiff, but I’m sure after wearing them for a bit and a wash or two they’ll be just fine. Other than that they fit just right, look great, and are an unbeatable price.

Love these Amazon jeans. Have 8 pair of them now I think. Great selection of colors and washes and fit is perfect for my build. Not sure how they will wear over the long term but so far, so good!

These are great! They fit well and look good. The size is pretty true to what is listed. A little bit of give/stretch but not too much.

Pros – this is a quality product. It is a medium weight fabric that is comfortable. Available in odd sizes that are not available in other brands. It has a slim fit but not a “skinny jean”. Available in many colors.
You can’t beat this price.
Cons- there is inconsistent sizing between the various colors – especially the waist.
