I ordered both the denim and black versions and the denim came in 34 xl and they fit perfect. The black came in 34 and there a little bit skinnier but still nice. There is no option for xl, I wish there was.

I ordered two pairs of these shorts, one 31 inch waist and one 32. When they arrived, one was tagged “32” and one “32L”. The 32 short was too large, but the 32L was a bit smaller and fit like a 31. Go figure. Other than that, and that I wish they were of a bit heavier, no complaints. Not too baggy, which I like.
