They hold your pants up. I have no hips or butt, so a belt was really not enough to keep my pants up. This is not usually a big problem, but I cannot use my right arm to pull my pants up because I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery. The suspenders solved the problem. It is kind of nice to not worry about your pants falling down and adding to Americas crack problem.
There is nothing fancy about the suspenders, but I think they look ok. They are all elastic.The clips hold well. I have never had them come off once clipped to my jeans. The length adjustments are on the front when you wear them and the clips for those are acceptably easy to open and close.
They reduced my overall frustration level and I’ll probably use them after I recover. If you need suspenders, these will work fine.

Ordered these to compare to others at twice the price. To my surprise, these were as good if not better than products costing $25 to $30 each. Excellent, tightly woven material with sharp looking clasps that hold extremely tightly. Easy to adjust to virtually any length regardless of how tall you are. Like these so much, I cancelled my original order for three pairs of a competitive brand costing $27 each and bought three additional pairs of this brand for less than $12 a pair. These suspenders are built really rugged. They do not become unsnapped on there own and are very comfortable. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is that the buckles are so heave duty they stick out further then other suspenders that I have owned. What happens for me as I am very active and seem to be squeezing in to tight spaces a lot is when I scrape the back buckles they get unhooked. As an example when I am in a hurry and slide into my pick-up truck the trucks seat edge catches a buckle and unsnaps it. Another example is when I carry a large item through a doorway and am walking sideways the same thing happens. My other lighter suspenders never do this. This is a great suspender for someone who is more careful, not overly active and in a hurry so often as I seem to be, my bad. I wear them now when I am relaxing and not working on a project.

Just want I hoped they would be, heavy duty and comfortable. The clips are very strong and do not slip when fastened to my jeans. Easy adjustment so the length is just right. First time wearing suspenders, wasn’t sure what to expect. These are great. Will be getting more since the have a variety of colors.

These were purchased for my ski pants last season. Generally, they hold up well. I’ve not noticed much stretching. The teeth on the clip will really bite into your fabric, so be thoughtful about where you attach them.

I have had products like these in the past which were lack luster at best. The clips broke easily or slipped off regularly. But NOT with this pair. These seem to be a HIGH QUALITY pair of Suspenders that have nice TIGHT clips/buckles. They did a fantastic job of keeping my pants in place. As soon as I can afford another set, I am getting a 2nd or 3rd set. Fully endorse this brand!!!

the product is huge, very wide straps and very adjustable. Durable and has a great grip. Not recommended for use on thin material pants as the grip is very strong but made for jeans or material like that.

I have been using this product very regularly and it has fulfilled its function. You see, I lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of it back, and plan to lose it again and some more. However, in the process of losing weight I threw out pants and belts when buying new ones. Specially belts that since I have none, and pants I only have a couple that are slightly larger.
So yeah, I bought these as a substitute for belts. And it has worked wonders. I use it every time I go out as an undergarment (so, under the shirt), and is a bit surprising how well they hide despite how thick they are. It is still fairly obvious you are wearing them, but not as much as I expected. It also does make my belly stand out (and I mean, more than it already does), but keeps the pants in place with little to no need to readjust, even after I sit down and stand up. I had a bit of an issue adjusting it to me since I am very fat and short, but after the initial “set up” I have no more problem putting it on and the pincers are fairly strong.
Having said that, there is an “issue”. It is my fault, but is best to mention it anyway: they are not undergarments. The material on these is a little too rough to be worn without a shirt first, and it is too thick for a wifebeater to actually protect your shoulder skin, otherwise expect rashes after continuous use. And I know there are suspenders specially made to be worn as underwear, but I read any can be used as such (and it is true for these as well, but there are some precautions to take). Also, while these are not uncomfortable per se, because of the thickness of the strap, it does feel like you have a backpack on, which is a bit awkward. Though I bought it thick precisely because of my size.
In any case, I still consider it a great purchase, specially if you are considering to lose weight, since they are very adjustable, you can save a few bucks from buying belts, and sometimes pants (seriously, buying new clothes is the most expensive part of losing/gaining weight). And I may try with less thick ones in the future,but first I will lose something like 10 Kg.

These are the ones you’re looking for! Nice looking for daily casual wear and the hard working blue collar folks as well as the downtown suit and tie crowd! They’re simple, classy, 2″ wide, thick-weave suspenders and comfortable! Unlike those 1″ wide paper thin types that cut into your shoulders after a short while, these hold your pants up all day without reminding you you’re wearing them. I actually forget I’m wearing them quit often!
Clips are strong, as is the elastic suspender material. The hardware is nicely chromed as well. I haven’t scratched mine off yet scraping them a couple times on things. If you do carpentry like I did years ago, these WILL NOT hold your tool-belt up. You’ll probably scratch them eventually if you’re brushing against things all the time like lumber etc, but the chrome is pretty hard and nice looking and they’ll hold your daily pants or jeans up just fine. If you have tons of crap like a heavy key ring and a fist full of change in your pockets, I suggest a belt to help of course.
So comfortable that early on I bought a second pair as a backup thinking they’d probably wear out PDQ or disappear from the market for whatever reason as many things do these days. I haven’t even opened the package of the second pair yet. Been wearing these daily for going on 8 months and they still hold up great with no sign of sagging! Haven’t adjusted them once since I got ’em the way I wanted the first time and they’re just as supporting as they were when I started using them months ago! Just move them to the next pair same as you do your belt daily. 4 clips, …simple. These are the good ones your grandfather wore around the shop for years. Get yourself a pair or two! Well worth every penny. 😉

Exactly what I was looking for! Straps are wide enough to be comfortable yet look office professional. Clamps hold onto my work pants as well as jeans and the adjustment clamps are strong yet simple to use. If you are looking for normal suspenders these are a perfect choice for you, I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal on a couple pairs of suspenders.

Made this purchase in haste, and I was hoping for a good show. I purchased a black suspender and it met all my needs, I’m in between belt holes, consistently pulling my pants up, my shorts, etc. It’s light weight, durable, the black elastic is tapered on both sides for a good feel. Super Sharp Clamps. If you don’t use both, the one strap will catch on anything, my house curtains, shower curtain, screen door edge…etc. Strong and hold on so far. I’m 6’2″ and weight 300, so the keep my pants very well and don’t show that much as I wear them under my T Shirt. I’d buy again, but I miss my Rainbow Ones.

I ordered 2 pair of these suspenders, received them 2 weeks ago and have been wearing them since. I find them very comfortable. The quality is surprising considering the cost. They are well made and the clips are strong and hold thin material as well as heavier fabrics. The 1 1/2 width is very nice and does not cut into my shoulders. Would reccomend them to a friend.

Out of all the “suit-style” suspenders I have tried so far these have been the best. Both the straps and clasps are noticeably more heavy duty than the others. The claps are made from thicker metal that is more resistant to bending and deformation and the design of the clamping mechanism provides for a better grip than others I have tried. I use these as everyday suspenders when working, bending over, crawling around on the ground, sweating, etc. and they have held up well so far.
