  1. The Great Beast

I’ve had this product now for some time. In past other belts of mesh weave would curl and roll. This one does not do so. The latching mechanism is solid and sturdy. I’m a rather large individual and it fit as it was supposed to. And does not loosen unwantedly. Only problem I had. Was certain articles of clothing. Belt loops were not readily available for the metal pieces to slide through efficiently. Nothing that could not be corrected by removal of the one side of the class threading the belt and then reattaching to the clasp. Worth the purchase I will be looking to buy more of these in the future

  2. Joe H.

Heavy duty stitching and a very heavy metal buckle with a unique latching system. Clasps together easily and releases quickly with 2 fingers. Release plates sit in a narrow point so it’s less likely to release accidentally. Sizing seems to be a ways off and wish they had more size options. But still a good belt.

  3. G. Plett

I use this belt at work, and I love it. Once I set the size it is much easier to refasten it than a traditional belt. Instead of having to refasten it the traditional way its just a simple click and your on your way.

  4. SFC CARTER

The style, adjustability, the stretch news is really good. Ease to use. The durability is unbelievable. Love the buckle, just like the military.

  5. lsdeen

I recently dropped a few pants sizes but still liked some of my old jeans so belts were a must. I have never really had a belt that felt nice, or one that I didn’t have to constantly adjust. I wanted something simple that I wouldn’t really notice I was wearing. My go to was the canvas style belts, but still these even needed constant adjusting. They were also kind of flimsy and would fold into themselves . I was looking for something tactical as I was always on the move, fiddling with my pants was a common annoying occurrence.

Came in box with the company contact info, also states there is a two year warranty with this belt, when I pulled it out of the box, it definitely looked and felt like it would outlive that warranty. Solid material no frays or anything. very clean. Metal buckle is small and low profile. Adjusting was easy and took only seconds! The end of the extra strap for adjusting the size is secured by a stretchy nylon ring so it sticks to the rest of the belt keeping its low profile look.
The buckle releases INSTANTLY with ease by squeezing the two gold buttons, definitely a time saver. When clicked back together it makes a SUPER satisfying click that just screams tactical. This is the first belt where I had total control over the tightness, I found that perfect hold and locked it in. I did a test walk and was amazed, the belt stays exactly the way you set it and doesn’t budge one bit. It also didn’t make my pants waist bunch up like the canvas belt did. Very comfortable when I sit or lay down, I don’t feel it digging into my waist like other belts did. For everything else but a formal event I believe this will be the last belt ill have to buy. Great for anyone who has a daily commute that involves a lot of walking. My pants slipping is one less problem I have to worry about.

To loop the belt around you do have to pass the whole metal buckle through the loops which I had ZERO problem doing as the buckles almost match the size of the strap. I followed the size guide and its accurate. I tried to find something I didn’t really like and couldn’t find one. For the price it seems well worth it based on the quality. If you want a solid minimal no nonsense belt this is the one.

  6. D. Wallis

This is a great quality belt I like that you can choose the thickness of the belt…….it was a little big but super easy to trim to length with a pair of sharp scissors and a lighter easy day!

And you do have to take apart the belt on the one side to weave it through the belt loops but if you’ve owned a riggers belt before this isn’t anything new.

Bottom line if you are thinking about buying this belt you will not regret it.

  7. Ish

It effective at what it does, once you’ve got it on, it’s ON. It’s made rather durably, so you don’t have to worry about it fraying on you or breaking. But it’s not the most comfortable “tactical” belt around, which is fine. But just know there are better belts that you can get for the same price.

  8. Benjamin Danielsen

I work as a loss prevention and security specialist as my day job and occasionally do event security as a side job in the evenings, so I’m always using my gear and putting it through the ringer. That being said, I am quite pleasantly surprised at the quality I’ve gotten for the price I paid.

My other Fairwin belts have held up remarkably well in the years of daily use and wear I’ve put them through, so I’d say I’ve definitely gotten more than my money’s worth out them thus far. I’ve bought some of these to supplement my current belts, a two ply model which unfortunately seems to have been discontinued, but these have been adequate enough for my needs with them.

However, a caveat I will point out with these belts is that I personally wouldn’t trust them to hold up a duty sidearm and holster on their own. It’s a single ply design and I could see it holding up something very lightweight and concealable like a .38 revolver or a .380 auto, but probably not a fully loaded Glock 17 or other similarly sized duty handgun, so I would personally want to use suspenders or a true duty belt if I wanted something for those purposes. But it’s a comfortable, reasonably strong design that works for my purposes in unarmed roles, so if you’re just looking for an inexpensive product that will hold up to daily use, I recommend these belts, but if you need a true heavy duty belt for a sidearm, I’d personally recommend you look at 1.7 inch, purpose built products instead.

Still, for a sub-$20 belt, these have been shockingly well made products. They don’t quite hold a candle to Blackhawk or other similar brands, but for a fraction of the price, it’s hard to fault them for falling short of that level of performance.

  9. Amacust222

Very durable i have been using a few years. Has the tactical look. Easy to use once feed through belt loops. But the ends don’t fit all pants belt loops you will need to remove the buckle. To thread in and remove. There is no stretch to this belt. There is a carabiner hook loop i’ve never tried to use but its there. Its a belt not very versatile, but it does its job well.

  10. Glenn Dubois

Great quality, love the seatbelt-like buckle style, excellent around your waist and for a bandolier if you’re carrying multiple pouches. I have only a minor gripe that it’s annoying to adjust around your waist if you’re a bigger guy. I say minor because it’s due to how sturdy the nylon is. I would infinitely rather deal with it than compromise on the quality.

  11. lawrence knott

Nice belt use it all the time

  12. saugat adhikari

I picked up this FAIRWIN tactical belt for everyday use and occasional outdoor work, and it’s held up better than I expected. The heavy‑duty nylon webbing feels tough yet still flexible enough that I don’t feel restricted when bending or climbing. The V‑ring / D‑ring attachment and solid metal buckle give a utilitarian look that works well whether I’m wearing jeans, cargo pants or work trousers.

On the flip side: the belt is a bit bulkier than a standard dress belt, so if you’re aiming for a low‑profile look it might feel a little overbuilt. Also, while the sizing is pretty good, the excess tail can stick out if your waist is on the smaller side—so you may want to tuck the tail under the first belt loop.

Overall: For the price, this is a solid choice if you want a rugged, functional belt that isn’t just for formalwear. Great for utility, work, or casual outdoor style

  13. Greg MacDonald

Great belt. Very durable and very easy to put on.

  14. John A Cordero

A little hard to adjust to waist size. Does not fit through the loops of my Owb holster. Have to adjust everyday. Not convienent.

  15. stlhrserider

Belt is heavy duty non elastic which is a plus in my opinion!!!……
However the adjustments need to be revised !! It doesn’t have a quick cam adjustment like other competitors.

  16. Devin

good build, good materials, good latch, only issue I have with it is that the buckle doesn’t fit through belt loops so when you’re putting it on you need to remove the strap from the buckle instead of unbuckling it, then reloop the strap onto the buckle, not really an *issue* per say, but it means the buckle itself is basically just a safety feature to make unbuckling easier in an emergency as opposed to using the buckle in ordinary use.

  17. Teflon1

A highly recommended, durable belt that I use daily. I would purchase this item again.

I’ve been using this tactical belt for over five years now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best gear investments I’ve ever made. From long shifts in the field to heavy-duty use in all kinds of environments—mud, heat, rain, and everything in between—this belt has held up exceptionally well.

The durability is second to none. No fraying, no warping, and the buckle still locks just as securely as the day I got it. It’s carried a full loadout including holster, mags, med kit, and tools—without ever sagging or shifting uncomfortably.

What really sets it apart, though, is the comfort. Even during 10-12 hour days, it sits well on the hips and distributes weight evenly. No pinching, no hot spots—just a solid, reliable fit every time. It’s clear this belt was made for professionals who demand performance and reliability.

After all these years, it’s still in great shape—but I’ll be buying a new one soon just to have a backup. Honestly, I wouldn’t consider anything else. If you need a belt that can take a beating and still perform like new, this is the one to get.

    Highly recommended.

I ordered this belt with free next day delivery. I was surprised when it actually arrived on the next day since the next day was Memorial Day. I give it 5 stars for quick delivery. First of all, I did not order this expecting to use it as a belt to hold up my pants so I cannot say as to whether it fits through belt loops or not. My guess is it would fit only if the loops are large or the buckle was removed as people have said. But it fits my purpose perfectly. I wanted a belt to fit outside my pants to hold extra magazine pouches and this is perfect. The belt and buckle seem to be high quality. Adjusting it to fit was easy. After I have actually used it for a while I will update my review if needed. I purchased dual cases designed to carry revolver Speed Loaders and use them to carry extra 10 round rotary magazines for a Savage 17 HMR. I had no problem sliding the belt with buckle attached through the case back. As the pictures show, I can carry nine dual pouches for a total of 18 extra magazines which is exactly what I purchased this belt for. Even with 18 fully loaded magazines the belt can be adjusted tight enough to hold everything in place while remaining loose enough to rotate it around my waist to get to the magazines in the back. It is so much handier to simply change magazines rather than having to reload empty magazines at the range or while in the field. I expect this to last a long time since it will not be an every day carry belt but will only be used when I go shooting. My belt did come with the loop to hold the loose end in place but in my case the loose end is simply fed inside a magazine case. I strapped it on and walked about 1/2 mile and the belt stayed in place. After a few steps I did not even notice I was wearing it. I give it 5 stars for fitting my needs perfectly and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a belt for carrying extra magazine pouches.

material is good quality. However, the slip style for adjusting the size likes to slip. Also, the lock has a tendency to come loose at inconvenient times, which causes the belt to come open.
