The Heipeiwa denim fleece pants were ordered for wear during the colder winter months.
First, I normally wear a size 38 pants with a 30 inch inseam. During the winter, if the weather is cold enough, I will also wear a pair off long underwear for warmth with fleece denim. Thus, I ordered a pair of the XXL for a 40 – 42 waist. If I were to wear a pair of long handle underwear these pants would fit perfectly. Without longer underwear they are a little large in the waist for me. But with a belt cinched, they should be fine. Frankly, in cold weather, I am not really concerned about style and whether or not I look like I modeling a pair of denim jeans. Warmth and comfort is my main concern
These are a cotton / polyester / spandex blend, and thus they do have some stretch. That is the reason that they will fit me a little large. When tested, the weather was warm. However, these denim pants are nicely thick, and I have no doubts that with the fleece lining that they will be warm. The product description indicates they are good for wear from -5 degrees to 40 degrees. Still, at -5 degrees I will be wearing some long underwear. The style of the legs is slightly tapered and fit great on my legs.
I really liked everything about these denim pants, and look forward to wearing them in the winter when hiking, working on my property, and even playing golf in colder weather.
BOTTOM LINE: I found everything to like about these pants. They are well-made, comfortable, and warm. The denim material plus the fleece is thick, and I have no doubts that these pants will be warm in the colder months when outside. The price point is great considering they are fleeced denim. I would definintely order these again.
Status Quo –
I love wearing jeans, but they are not the best for cold weather, where the elements will seep in and making it unbearable sometimes to wear when outside. These fleece lined jeans are looking very promising. I love how soft the fleece is inside. Felt like slipping on a piece of pajamas. They feel more like sweat pants rather than jeans, very stretchable and flexible, not rigid. The fit is as expected, although the smallest size they offer fits 31″-32″ waists, and I’m 30″, so it’s a bit loose. It’s ok though, as it can maybe be future proof for my growing food belly. They do have a drawstring though I think I’d rather just have a belt with it. I got the Jogger style, which gives a taper down to the ankle, a style that I quite like a lot. Makes for a more form fitting piece of clothing. In conclusion, I’d have to see how these will perform come winter months or how they’ll fare after washing, but so far, I have a feeling they might replace my Lees as my favorite pair of jeans.

Is a little larger than expected
Status Quo –
This is my first time ever seeing this Jean/Fleece fabric that looks like a pair of regular jeans on the outside but feels much softer and more comfortable to wear. Not to mention the fact that these are stretchable as well, more so sideways. Initially, I thought that there would be a fleece liner inside or 2 layers but it’s actually just 1 layer, Jeans on the outside and fleece on the inside. This 70% Cotton and 30% Polyester fabric is not too thick and still breathable, not too stuffy but still keeps me warm on a cold day. I think it weighs about the same as my other pair of jeans or maybe just a tad heavier, not much though. Good zipper and is easy to zip up or down. It’s a good thing I used the measurement chart to order this pair in size M since I wear a size 33-34W. The elastic waist can still expand out a couple of inches when needed. The only thing is these come with 31″L and I wear a 30″L but it’s not that big a deal, Other than that, I do like this pair a lot and looking forward to wearing them often, even on road trips too, they feel so relax and soothing to wear :). Machine wash cold or cool and low tumble dry should be fine.

While not usually the type to get cold, when outside & shoveling snow, sometimes the chill can get to you. That is the reason I ordered these lined jeans for my husband. Wow. They are soft inside & out! They also have five usable pockets & a nice stretch to them to make moving around easy. Ordered based on their size chart & these fit nicely. A belt was necessary as the waistline did gap in the back a bit, but I have not washed these as of yet so that gives a bit of room for possible shrinkage. Also noted was that the zipper has a bit of a lock to it. No matter where you stop it, if you fold it down, it locks into place. If you’re looking for a nice comfortable & warm pair of pants this winter, give these a go. These are definitely worth the price of $40!

Glad they’re straight leg so I can wear them to the office but they’re so baggy that I’ll save them for the dead of winter when wearing long underwear makes sense under them. Might order another pair in XS. Weight is nice, warmth is ok.

When I found these, I showed him mine first before I ordered these for him. He said these fit him perfect and has kept him warm outside while shoveling snow in the winter.
