Wow!!!! This skirt is such a perfect fit for me. One of the most important details is that it goes below the knee. Stretch is another important factor. Even though it doesn’t have a slit anywhere, it is wide enough that I can walk normally. I am just so pleased with it. I will be buying more of these. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I’ve been looking for a denim skirt for a long time, and this one is absolutely perfect. Several of the reviews gave tips on getting the right fit, and by following that advice, I did get exactly the right fit. The sizing runs just a little big, so make sure you go by the sizing chart for this exact skirt and not the generic Amazon sizing chart (because it doesn’t translate to this product). I bought the skirt in blue denim, and I love it!

The fabric has a nice stretch to it, but it doesn’t get saggy after wearing it for a while. There is no slit in the back, which I also really like. It’s a pull-on design (so easy and comfortable) but it does have belt loops if you want to wear a belt with it. And it has front pockets! They aren’t super deep, but they are functional. And I love that, because so many of the stretchy jeans and denim skirts have no front pockets, only back. I love this skirt so much I am going to have to order it in other colors.

    It fits me well.

  4. Ian R. McClellalnd

    As expected. Very pleased.

  5. Emily

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material. It’s definitely stretchy, but it doesn’t become enormous during the day. It’s a great length for me – middle aged elementary school teacher. I can easily squat in it, and it is still long enough when sitting.

Okay, so I have searched for a “perfect fit” white denim skirt for a long time. The ones I’ve bought in the past were either too short or too flared, A-line shape. I wanted a straight skirt that was borderline pencil skirt without being too fitted. I’m very picky and want skirts that are modest but still flattering and trendy, not matronly. I am 5’5″ 135 lbs. I was on the fence about what size to order, and I used the brand’s size chart to determine a size 6. I am giving this skirt 5 stars even though I wouldn’t say it’s perfect because its the closest I’ve found to what I wanted at a good price and I can make this skirt work. The fabric is awesome, not too heavy and thick but not see-through thin either. The length hits right at my knee, just like I wanted. I love that it’s just a pull on style, no zipper and there’s no slit! The fit through the legs is exactly what I was hoping for, slim and figure flattering but not tight. There is no flare at the hem, just a nice straight fit. The only problem I have is the waist, which is too big so it gaps at my back. Still 5 stars though because I love everything else about it and I can wear longer shirts to cover the waistline. I am washing it right now with hot water and will dry it on high heat, hopefully that will shrink it up some. I would almost say a size 4 may be a better fit, but then I would worry that it would be more fitted through the hips and bottom, making it less modest and church appropriate. If yo3ure looking for fitted, size down, otherwise I would order your normal size for a modest fit. I will most likely order more skirts from this brand in other styles and colors, I already have my eye on their blush pink denim pencil skirt!!

***UPDATE*** I have now washed and dried this skirt twice with hot water and high heat and it doesnt shrink at all. I am still loving the skirt, the cut, length and shape is perfect…however I would definitely recommend sizing down. Whatever size you normally wear, get the next size down. I always buy a size 6, I will definitely try a 4 on the next one I buy. Waist is huge on me. I will continue to wear with longer shirts and maybe use a belt too to keep it on my waist, bonus points for belt loops!

  7. Mybelle

This skirt is very high quality, comfortable, and modest…however it did not fit. Turned out to be a little bit too tight on me so I passed it on to someone else and they loved it. Would definitely recommend it, just make sure you get the sizing right.

I bought white and it looks as pictured with good quality material. It’s cute. I look forward to wearing it this summer. I haven’t washed it so I can’t comment on how it’ll hold up. I’m 5’6”, 150 lbs and size 12 is a tad loose in the waist and hips.

  9. Natasha

Overall I liked the skirt, just runs small. I liked how it was stretchy and didn’t have a button or zipper, pull on style but still had functional pockets. However, it was too small in the hips for me. I wish I could exchange it for a size up, but sadly the only option I had was to return for a refund which is a bummer because I got it on sale and I would’ve kept the skirt if I would’ve gotten it exchanged for a bigger size! No option to contact the seller either. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait til it goes on sale again as $50 for a denim skirt is a bit pricey…

I was looking for a comfortable jean skirt that went slightly below my knees. This was perfect! The denim is stretchy and soft, and it is versatile for so many styles. I’m 5’7 and about 190. The size 14 was just right for me, even though I’m most often a size 16 in pants/jeans.

If you are looking for a “modest” jean skirt, not hugging the bottom or hips, length below the knee…then this is it! It took me a while to find one like this. I do have to pull it up q pinch so it doesn’t hug the bottom but when I gmdo its still comfortably below the knee. I’m just about 5’7″, 140lbs and it’s pretty close to what I was looking for. Nice quality too, not cheap or thin. Has a nice amount of stretch and comfort. Now ill have to see what my husband thinks 🙂

I bought this skirt because if the stretch waistband and denim material. This does not show any lumps or bumps because the material is so thick and the band is so well made. This is a high quality skirt. I am typically a large or a 10-12,( 5’6”, 155 pounds) but I bought the 14 in one color and the 16 in another. I have a thin apple shape- meaning that I’m slim hipped but bulkier in the middle. I sized up because the last thing I want is a tight waist pushing the fat up! And I wanted lots of extra material around the hips to make them look bigger so I’d appear more balanced ( I’m busty) .
With all this in mind, these sit below my waist and give me ample Gil room. They create a wonderful and modest silhouette that ia slimming for sure! No pinching, no awful buttons and zippers, and a nice thick sold waist band. These are high, high quality!!!!! I have the dark denim, the black, and the white. My favorite is the dark denim.

Not a bad skirt, but a bit matronly. It hits below the knee and is quite roomy. I’m 5’9 and 180 pounds if that’s helpful.

  15. Eleanor Raymond

I really liked the fit of the skirt and the look.

  16. Victoria Bell

Great fit. I ordered up a size. Wish it came in other colors. Would love a light blue.

This white denim jean skirt is everything I wanted – literally. I have worn denim skirts in the past and find the zipper and button closure constricting. Also, they sat higher on the waist then I wanted. This skirt is stretch denim – 98%Cotton/2%Spandex. I got my normal size and it fits perfectly. The waistband has stretch so you can pull it on but doesn’t make it loose fitting. Quite the contrary – it’s comfortable. And I can wear it below the waist – my preference. The only negative is I have to get it tailored to a shorter length. Also, one of the pockets in the front has a little puckering because it was stitched too tightly. So I ordered it again and was surprised to find they changed the skirt completely. The second skirt was a thinner material, there were stitched faux – no pockets, the little metal esteez plate was put on the front, the size was much smaller than the first one (both size 8), and it tapers in at the bottom. See pic! And that little plate is put on there to stay, there is no removing it minus cutting it off with the material attached. Needless to say I’m kept the first one! So buyer beware – there are variations of this skirt.

  19. Ian R. McClellalnd

Fits well but the fabric is not of the best quality. I bought a blue one, and its fabric is more smooth; it wears great. The fabric of the black one feels more rough, and everything sticks to it! All the little hairs, dust, animal fur, it gathers everything like a magnet. And being black, it is all visible. I have to carry a dust roller when I wear it.

  20. ClassyTomboy

Well made, perfect length for my needs at a couple of inches below the knee, flattering. I’m 5’3” 142 lb, purchased a large in blue, which is a little loose around the waist. Got a medium in black and like the fit better. I wear them both. I also like that they have belt loops but they’re not that noticeable so you could easily wear without a belt.

    As expected. Very pleased.

  22. ClassyTomboy

Very well made. Worth the price without a doubt. Love it!

  23. Sycamore

The skirt is not stretchy at all so it’s pretty uncomfortable to wear I’m giving it away.

  24. ClassyTomboy

First, this a great skirt. Material is thick, well made and looks like photos. I ordered according to the size chart and the waist was too big. I’m normally pretty proportional so it was unexpected.
It advertised free returns so I went to exchange it for a smaller sized (remember I loved it) but that wasn’t an option so I just returned it planning to reorder.
However, I just got my refund and there was a $10.00 restock fee and the tax wasn’t refunded.
So buyer beware!! Recommend ordering down. We’ve come to expect that ordering online should be risk free. It’s not. I’m heading to the store to find a replacement.
