Bought 1 of my teenage boys these jeans a few years ago at childrens place when they were still in my local mall. They passed down to my second son who is wearing these jeans daily now for the job he started this summer working for an electrician. In his job, hes doing things like climbing into ductwork or little cubbyholes to fix things, and these jeans (and my son!) Are being really put to the test! When i purchased these i imagined them being worn to school, maybe the 4h fair…nothing like theyve seen lately. Clothes tend to be so cheap these days you dont expect anything to last, but these, incredibly, do! After working his job a couple weeks my son asked me to pick him up a few more pairs because he gets so dirty. I was amazed they are still around, they seem to beca staple pant for childrens place. My son is aged 16 now but these pants luckliy are made up tp size 18. The old pants were 14s, so i dont know if CP changed their sizing or if they just soften with age because i did have to get him an 18 even though he says the old 14s fit too. Theres hidden buttons inside to cinch them tighter if need be, and hes slim so that makes them fit comfortably he says. The fabric denim is soft so comfotrable and has seen a LOT of wear and tear over the years before i hand to mend them. Wish CP could make mens sizes, my husband works outdoors and clothes are so cheap now his wear out after about a month, by comparison to these. Highly recommend!

We tried the regular size 5 because I saw the reviews saying the 5 slims were really slim but for my lanky kid the 5 slims are PERFECT. His waist is 20” and hips are 22” and I don’t have to winch the elastic waistband at all whereas the regular size 5 needs to be sinched quite a bit. The crotch isn’t baggy at all either
