Description
This men’s leather belt is made with 100% genuine leather and comes with a single loop antique finish buckle. It’s the perfect belt for casual wear that will soon become your favorite go-to everyday leather belt. It’s also versatile enough to convert into a dress belt or work belt.
To ensure the perfect fit, the belt is 1.25″ wide and it’s recommended to order 1 size larger than your pant size. For an even better fit, add two to your pant size. This way, the belt will fit comfortably in the third hole. For example, if you wear a size 34 pant, it’s recommended to order a size 36 belt.
Timberland is known for making heavy-duty leather belts for men that are designed to look great and last long. This belt is 100% leather and imported, with a buckle closure.

It does say one piece of full grain leather on the belt. It seems kind of cheap/thin but hey if it holds up I don’t care. I’m docking it a star because it runs about a size small. I have a few 34” belts from before and this one in 32”. All the others are like 4” longer instead of 2. I’d suggest getting one size up compared to your normal belt size if they fit a little small. I was trying to get a smaller belt with this one and it was much smaller than it should be. I may try ordering my normal size since it’ll be bigger!
Update after wearing daily – the leather has started to break in and it seems good despite starting off thin and stiff. No signs of cheap leather so far but it’s only been a few weeks… we’ll see

This belt is right at home in the belt loops of jeans. It is nicely made and not too casual. The material is a beautiful color and the buckle is the perfect size, neither too big nor too small. There are enough prepunched holes that you can still wear it if you gain or lose a few pounds. It’s not too floppy or too stiff. It’s very comfortable.

I love the quality of the belt, however, I felt the belt ran a little small than advertised or compared to the same size in other belts. The belt was also a little stiff, and still is. Maybe this will go away with some wear.

I normally use size 32, but ordered 34 instead, based on recommendations from other reviews.
Size is alright but I would have preferred 32.
It’s a decent belt with good quality and nice color. I like it.
One thing I would like to mention is that IT HAS BAD SMELL!
I think it’s typical smell of leather product when it’s new. But this one has especially strong smell and it is still not going away after 2 weeks of everyday use. Almost returned it but decided to keep it for the price.
Update: Finally decided to return it because the smell just wouldn’t go away. It could have been a bad apple but I have no way of knowing. I give up.

This is a good, all-leather belt, and it will keep on stretching as long as you wear it. I’ve bought this belt twice – first in size 40 (one size larger than my pants size) and then in size 38.
If you plan to wear this belt every day, as I do, buy it in your pants size. It will initially seem a bit small. (In my case, the buckle slipped into the second hole from the end of the belt. There are five holes.) But the more you wear it, the more it will stretch, and after a few weeks you’ll be buckling it with the third, middle hole.
If you only plan to wear the belt once in a while, you might want to get it one size larger. You’ll find that you’re buckling it at either the third/middle hole or the fourth, but it probably won’t stretch too quickly – certainly not fast enough that it will get too long to hold up your pants.

I let it air out for 2 weeks and no change. It will stink up any closet it’s hung up in. This is the second time I tried to purchase this belt. Maybe I just got belts from a bad batch. The quality really is first rate. I’ve bought a few of these in the past and they lasted for several years. Worth a shot.

This belt was true to size for me specifically. I wear a 32 and I had two spare holes to work with. A small couple complaints I have are the stiffness of the belt, and how frickin shiny it is. I don’t expect a fully broken in belt for $20, but this thing needed to be worked like a baseball glove when I got it, just so it didn’t feel like I was wearing a suspended hulahoop. I’m not sure if the belts shown in the images of the ad are from a more worn in belt but the one I got was a bit shiny, almost like a dress belt. I imagine with wear it’ll look closer to the pictures in the ad. The adjustability of the belt is okay, it has five holes in total that span approximately a 5″ span of leather. All in all, the quality of the belt is very good, it seems sturdy and well made. It also properly performs it’s function as intended, so it’s hard to not give this belt 5 stars.
