These jeans have a lot going for them. The fabric is soft and stretchy, so they feel great all day, and the fit is both flattering and comfortable. The pockets are deep, which I personally love. I saw some people didn’t like them, but that just comes down to preference. The Blue Sapphire color looks nice and gives the jeans a slightly dressier vibe.
That said, for something labeled “high waisted,” they really aren’t. On me, they sit closer to mid-waist, which isn’t a big deal, but definitely not what I expected. The length is also tricky. I’m 5’2″, and these were supposed to hit around the ankle, but they hit the floor instead. They only work for me with heeled boots or heels in general. With flat shoes or sneakers, the bottoms definitely drag and would end up getting worn or wet fast.
Overall, I still really like them for the comfort, fit, and style, especially for the price. Just be prepared for a longer inseam and a mid-rise fit if you’re on the shorter side.

I’m 5’4″ and usually hesitant with flares because they can look overwhelming or require hemming (flash back to the 90’s and the wet denim ankle creep that always happened on rainy days – yuck), but these fit shockingly well right out of the package. When I proposed this snazzy-looking pair of ‘recreational’ jeans to my wife, with whom I share an ongoing pleasant, satisfying enjoyment collaboration on those many different Amazon fashion offerings I’m able to acquire for her as part of my continuing membership in their Vine Voice reviewer program team, I actually had some doubts as, while they’re elegant, lithe (as in slender, flexible and graceful) and ever so ‘classy-looking’, it just seemed that perhaps here somewhat diminutive 5′ 3″ frame wouldn’t perform too well in such a sleek and ‘slinky-looking’ pants garment ostensibly meant for a woman of taller and thinner stature.
It turned out my apprehensions were wrong in this instance, as I’m now so glad she persuaded and convinced me to stick with my initial attraction to them, thus ending up with my acquisition of them for her after all. Her resultant experience with testing and wearing them extensively, both for informal social activities like shopping and mingling with friends, to donning them on several occasions to her large workplace office on those coveted employee informal-dress workdays that seem to pop up on alternate Fridays. She really looks adorable in them, and I’ve come to look forward to those Fridays when she wears them with some of the elegant high heel shoe creations I’ve also managed to secure for her from Amazon as well. Sometimes I think that ladies’ high heels were designed and conceived to be worn with a stunning garment like these jeans, upon which I’m (with her input, of course) about to list some of the more relevant features that we both think any prospective buyer might contemplate before making a final purchase decision. They are as follows:
1) First of all, these sleek jeans, described by its Amazon vendor as being “flared and boot-cut”, which affords a sort of ‘throwback’, vintage/retro look which was formerly very popular in years gone by. To anyone like my wife, this product presents an opportunity to ‘re-visit’ those coveted days when she coincidentally happened to adore wearing this design-style of jeans.

I got these for my wife and she likes these a lot. They are true to size, she is 5’11 and ~160lbs and wears a size 12 which fit perfectly. The fit is comfortable with good fit in legs and butt. They’re not too tight, but not baggy. The material is a bit stretchy with a decent thickness to material so that they are durable and look like they will last. The are a fun stylish cut with the flare leg design. The front pockets and unique design make these an nice addition to the wardrobe that standout from the general jeans design. Definitely recommend, at least to try, and the price is good this type of quality and design.

These Astylish Wide Leg High Waisted Ankle Bootcut Jeans are true to size, depending on the fit you like. I ordered size 16. I weigh 208 lbs and stand at 5’3″, carrying most of my weight in my midsection and hips. I love the length of these pants. Because of my height, these come down to the top of my shoes. Most pants drag on the floor for me, but these are great. They fit a bit snug at first, but they loosen up with movement. I should have ordered an 18 for a looser fit. They wash well. The stitching looked thick, but I haven’t had any issues with pressure points. They rise above my navel. I like the color (light blue) as they do not dye my skin when I get hot and start to sweat. The pockets are an awesome size! I can actually fit my phone in without having it stick out or poke me in my side.
