I bought this bag almost 3 weeks ago, and the minute I took it out of the box I new I’d love it. It’s a really nice, thick canvas but is soft like it’s already been broken in. The strap is nice and wide so it doesn’t dig into the shoulder. It’s also attached to the body of the bag in a way that allows it to hold a lot of weight without tearing away from the bag. (I had a messenger bag in college where the strap tore right off because of the weight.) It’s nice and roomy. It does have side pockets, like for a water bottle, but my 32oz Nalgene is too wide. I use those pockets for my water jars for painting. A thoughtful detail is how they put the snaps on the bag. The snap on the body of the bag is attached to a little strap piece that you can put your finger behind so you don’t press into the bag itself. The snaps are good and snug. I love everything about this bag, so much that I ordered the smaller satchel, too.

This bag is strong and well made. True, another buyer said that it needs flaps for the front pockets and that the zipper would be better if it enclosed the full inside of the bag, but this was still money well spent. Nice cushioning at the bottom too. If you’re considering, I would highly recommend.

I love this bag. I travel and spend a lot of time at children’s hospital with my grandson who is very sick, so I carry quite of bit with me at all times. I was able to combine everything from both my purse and backpack ..and still have plenty left over room. I love the styling, the frayed edge, color, and the wide strap makes it perfect for crossbody carrying. The only (small) negative are the side pockets.. would love to have the edging to be elastic so a water bottle could fit. I can fit one in the front pocket or inside the main part of the bag but prefer it to be on the side ..not a deal breaker tho. I wish the two front snaps were magnetic as sometimes things are moving quickly at the hospital and only have time to throw the flap down and so have to go back to the bag later to snap it close. The bag is soft but everything kept in it pretty much holds it up and I wasn’t really wanting a rigid bag so it works perfect for my needs since sometimes I need to squish it into tight places. I highly recommend this bag.

this bag is so heckin perfect and I’m so glad I bought it.
tied for best purchase of 2024 (tied with the gunking industrial cup holder + headphone holder).
straps are so thick in both width and actual fabric thickness. also so soft and easy to adjust while still sticking where you put it without sliding.
no stray threads or even thread issues, and the smell is just a light warehouse smell which is fine and I don’t mind it (I like the smell of auto body shops, so this is nothing to me lol).
super lightweight and the color match is solid.
despite the light weight, it feels sturdy and I have no worries about carrying around my custom keyboard + case and my tablet.
also so many pockets?! inside has 3 total pockets (2 open, 1 zipper), outside has 5?!?
also also, it zips closed. is the zipper a lil away from the sides of the bag? sure. but that means I can stick something longer in and still feel secure about all the other things in the bag.
I’ve wanted a bag like this for YEARS, and this bag is about to be run into the GROUND with me using it every day.

My kids have to go to a lot of appointments and I needed something that could carry a lot if I needed to, but then if I didn’t still could work as my purse without having to transfer all of my stuff back and forth between different bags. I looked for over two months on different bags and messenger bags and finally decided to go with this one. Glad I did! It paid off just in the first two days I got it! I had teacher conferences and then a couple different appointments for them and then Halloween that night and man that bag can hold SO MUCH STUFF! But the greatest part about it can hold a lot is 1. The strap is perfect. It’s wide and it is adjustable so I can carry it “shoulder purse” style or my favorite “crossbody” style (I am a big/tall gal too and sometimes the strap doesn’t go long enough but this completely does). 2. It’s wide enough and strong enough to support the weight. What I was carrying was ruining my other purse because it couldn’t handle the weight. It has enough pockets to help keep me organized but it has big enough pockets to actually fit my belongings. (I must add it fits and zips closed with a full size planner 8×12 inches) Most of my other bags have these weird awkward size pockets that are useless because nothing fits except chapstick and that gets lost because the pockets are then deep and narrow, not with this bag.
Like the other reviews stated the only thing I would change is to make the snaps on the front magnetic. That’s it. Highly recommend this bag.

Love this bag! I also have the 30622 bag in green and the colors are very similar (see second picture). I’d say this bag is a tad darker. Overall, I love it! I’m a reporter and it’s perfect for everything I need for work. The main compartment fits a large Erin Condren planner, a small notebook, wallet, tall coffee cup, and small things like headphones, notecards, gum, etc. and there’s still room for more. In the outside pockets, I put a ton of pens, tissues, hand sanitizer and chapstick. The only gripes I have are that the snaps aren’t magnetic, the side pockets are too small to fit your hand in and – like my other bag – the strap will gradually fall out/loosen from its position…if that makes any sense. And it can irritate my shoulder if I put too much in it and I wear it for a long time but, I mean, that’s more of a personal problem.

Just the right size, has a heavy duty, weighted feel to it. Strap and fittings, are securely attached to the bag. Zip’s are nice and sturdy. Plenty of pockets and no magnetic fastening, just good quality snap poppers. It’s comfortable to carry, and deal’s with being loaded with books. Only time will tell concerning durability. Would I buy again? Yes.

I bought this canvass messenger bag for my wife recently and she absolutely loves it!! It features snap closures that keep the bag securely closed, but allows for easy one hand opening. The stitch work on this bag is high quality, and the bag has 2 outer pockets on the sides. One of them easily holds a 1 liter bottle of water. Inside there are 2 spacious pockets, along with a large main compartment. There is also a smaller zip up compartment inside the bag for smaller items. The zipper inside is of great quality, opening and closing very smoothly. I’d recommend this bag to anyone looking for a great daily use bag.

Really solid bag. Not too heavy, but has a nice dense feel. The strap is fairly comfortable and easily adjustable. I will say it has that kind of sour black dye smell at first, but it’s already improved considerably and will probably be gone in a couple weeks. The only thing I wish it had was a smaller handle on the top so there’s another way to carry it if my shoulder gets sore.

Since getting this a while ago, this has become my new main bag I use for everything. I haven’t noticed any degradation in the material and serves me quite well. The downsides are that the bag lacks any rigidity and if you put too much into the inside of the bag, the outsides will bulge and you won’t be able to fit your water bottle into the pockets. Of course, it is commendable that it CAN fit my laptop, IPad, drawing tablet, and sketchbooks in it all at once, so credit where it is due. That said, I do not recommend carrying that much in your bag, because it gets quite heavy and starts to really hurt your shoulder while you use it.

This bag is really well made and strong without being overly heavy. It looks great without standing out as a theft target. It is big enough to hold a 13 inch laptop in a protective case and an SLR with pockets for spare batteries and memory chips.

This is the second bag I ordered from this brand. The previous bag has been used regularly for several years and just now starting to show wear. This is thick quality canvas fabric with plenty of room/pockets without being too large. I often grab a few extras for my toddler to toss in without having to carry an extra bag. I do wish there were more color options like maybe a chocolate brown. Will definitely order from this company again.
