I wear a large but upgraded to XL since I wanted to layer. This vest is no where near an XL as well as cheap looking. Also, to return its third party back to China which is expensive so I’m stuck. DO NOT buy this!!

I love this vest, fits perfect and it goes well with jeans and my short skirts. Purchased a small and it fits great. The distress look is nice and the hoodie is an added bonus, this is true to size for me and I am 5′ 3″ 136 lbs.

It’s a little on the large side, and a little pricey maybe for what it is, but overall I like it. Hood is easily detachable and it hits just right at your side like a crop top. Great for embroidery or pins or iron ons. I am 5′ 8″ and 180 lbs and ordered an XL and had to return for a L. Probably could have gone with a Med, honestly, because I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs.

True to size looks excellent with long sleeve t shirts or a blouse. You can dress it up or down depending on what kind of pants you wear. You might want to wear a pair of black slacks, dressed it up or just a pair of jean shorts or a pair jeans so it’s very versatile for dressy casual, or just casual.

I purchased this vest for my teen daughter. The first thing she did was put all her pins and buttons on it, lol. Good quality. She says it’s comfortable. She looks good in it. I’d say it runs true to size. I wish they had bigger than just an xl but it still fits enough for her. The quality of the material is very nice, it’s not a flimsy denim. The buttons are a metal that work well to close the vest if you’d like. Nice alone or with a hoodie underneath. I’d definitely recommend this denim vest.

Is exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted a vest I could decorate with some spikes and patches.
Working on them slowly but surely but I’ve worn this out multiple times and I love it!

I got an xl and it barely fit. I normally wear M. To short and every single button is barely hanging on! Looks nothing like the photo. Very disappointing

The vest came out of the package with the buttons lose and flopping around. It’s very thin.
The vest is for appearance more than purpose.
I bought a large, I have gained more weight that I thought or the vest has a small fit.
I gave it 2 stars because of the things mentioned and price.

Fits true to size and I really like the jacket. It’s the perfect weight for me to wear year round. The only negative is the smell. Definitely had to wash it before it could be worn.

It’s a good inexpensive vest for the price of a good well made denim vest.
Denim has a good weight, the hooded material is thin and cheap. Amazon’s suggested sizing is off too, as far as this vest is concerned, anyway. I’ve ordered cute pants from China that Amazon’s sizing fit to the T. I’m short about 4″ for button closure. No stretch. I usually don’t button my vests so I’m thinking ok, drop one star and I also noticed some of the pic reviews are quite shy of closing too. I’m not going to harp too much on sizing bc we all know when you order online it’s huge risk we all take. To add insult to injury, (its a saying, no one really got hurt 😅) I ordered a DARK BLUE and got the LIGHT BLUE…. I gave it 3 stars bc the quality doesn’t match the price. It’s more of a $15.99 at the most $20 quality item. Not sure if I’m keeping it. Another thing though, I’ve ordered tops from FreePeople for $178 dollars
and the quality wasn’t much better. Love the idea of the styles but not the quality….it’s just not there. I guess as long as we pay it…. at the end everyone sizes differently so can’t really complain about it, but quality is another story.

I have been really wanting a sleeveless denim vest with a built-in hood, so I thought I’d give this one a try.
Pros: The actual vest is fine, I’m 5” 125lbs and ordered a small and was pretty happy with the fit. Seems decent enough quality for casual wear.
Cons: The loops that hold the detachable hood on seem pretty flimsy and will definitely break with use. Even just stretching the hood out slightly made me feel not super confident that it would stay on long-term. The buttons are incredibly annoying – they are very loose and jingle/rattle with every move you make. The hood is ‘’meh”; the material is relatively thin which is fine but the seam going right down the middle of the hood gives your head a pointed shape when you wear the hood. Overall not pleased with this purchased, will be returning.

I wear this thing all the time. When it is a bit colder I use it with the hood, but when it is warm I wear it without. It looks great with anything and is not too thick or bulky. There are also some pockets on the inside that work great when I am somewhere and don’t want to take my shoulder bag. My wallet and phone fit safely in those pockets. The fade is cool. I recommend for anyone who digs jean vests.
