It’s like they bleached the denim to get it light. Thus the material is compromised and just rips.

I’m 5’7” and around 135 pounds. i usually wear a 5 because my hips and thighs are larger, and belt the waist. I figured with the drawstring I could just take up any slack in the medium size in the waist, but the hips and thighs are huge. I look like I’m wearing clown shorts – with all the extra fabric, it looks like i’m wearing a diaper underneath😆 The pair on top are size 5’s I bought a few days ago on amazon; they fit my thighs and hips perfectly and gap at the waist in back. As you can see, there is quite a bit of overlap between the two pair – the medium YMI shorts underneath are quite a bit bigger everywhere. Other than the size discrepancy, the shorts don’t look as cheap as I thought they would. A shame I have to send them back and that they don’t have extra small. I have a feeling even a small size would be too big in this brand.

Just don’t like my thigh skin touching, so I’m not into these . They’re comfy , like the color and feel of the material, but I need my thighs covered just a bit more . So they’re definitely for those with thinner thighs .
