These fit great in the waste. I am 5’2″ about 180lbs right now. I bought them at 170lbs and they were loose on me. Even at 180lbs the legs and butt get very loose after about 2hrs of wearing. I feel like I look like I have a full diaper on at this point. I ordered a.short because of my height. They are about an inch shorter than I would like them to be. However I don’t like to waste money so I decided to use them as gardening pants. We live in middle Georgia and the bugs are NO JOKE, even with 40% deet bug spray you will still get eaten alive. What does this have to do with pants?? Well the material is thick enough that the bugs can’t bite through them!!! Big win in my book. And when I am gardening I don’t care what I look like because I am dripping sweat and covered in dirt anyway. So they make perfect gardening pants for me and once we get our chickens I will probably be ordering a few more pairs. I understand this is probably not the ideal review but anyone with a garden, farm or chickens will appreciate the review and that is what I am here for.

Love the fit! First i bought and returned the 12 regular, then bought and kept the 10 short. I will describe each in detail below. For reference, I’m 5’2″, currently weigh between 178-180lbs. Normally wear size 12. I recommend sizing down. If you happen to get a pair with a funky smell, I’d say just return and buy a new pair, because the second pair was perfect! Accurate, comfy, flattering, decent price.
* First pair, size 12 (first 4 photos): a bit loose in the thighs for my taste. Fit at the waist was okay, but i like a bit of compression at the tummy for shaping. The length was a bit long and awkward for my height and taste. I carry more weight between my shoulders and knees, but my calves are a bit thinner compared to the rest of me. Maybe these would look ok on someone with bigger calves. This pair also came with a strange factory type smell that reminded me of Vic’s vapor rub, and the bottoms were very frayed, much more than the picture. Returned.
* Second pair, size 10 short (last 4 photos). These were just the fit i was looking for- fitted in the hips, booty, thighs, comfortably loose at the bottom but not baggy or flared. The length was just right for me as well. The waist is a bit snug but not uncomfortable. The fabric is stretchy. After wearing a while, the waist felt fine, also not too loose. These didn’t smell bad at all, just a typical new smell, and the ends were not frayed on this pair. It looked exactly like the images.

Covers my whole foot, even with heels lol looks like bell bottoms. There’s nothing wrong with the pants if they fit you, my problem is probably my shortness lol.
