I am totally in love with these shorts. I ordered the medium/black, and the fit was perfect. I am 5’5″, 148, 36b, 30″ waist, 37″ hip. I was a bit worried about the waist, seeing how the medium had a 27-29, but it fit perfect – NO muffin top. These have a great stretch to them, so even if you eat to the point of twin food babies – you are good!
The material is nice, soft and well stitched. I have worn, washed, and dried in the dryer, and did not find any color distortion, or issues with thread/sewing/seams, or shrinkage. The tag does recommend hang drying, so if you have concerns or issues with other clothes and shrinkage, I would follow the recommended care instructions.

I wish the sizing info was better, I had to read reviews and was grateful others had posted some sizing info. I am 5’1 and 130. The small fits perfect on me! The jean material is thinner than actual jeans- and it is stretchy. For the price I was hoping for something that just felt like better quality but they fit, and they aren’t bad looking, so I’ll keep them. I was going to get a few other colors, but think I’ll try and find something else. Also, I didn’t read the shipping info, but it took over 2 weeks to get to me so I’m assuming they ship from overseas.

These aren’t high but no low, they hit right at my belly button, they have the vest amt of stretch without feeling like they’ll lose their shape. My weight has fluctuated so much after having my 2nd baby and I’ve been so disappointed with shorts I’ve ordered in the past I just abt gave up. These feel so comfortable, I’m currently between a large or an xl. I’m 5 ft even, I wear a 16 in jeans and i purchased the xl and they fit great. If I wanted a tighter fit I could have gone with a large but these give enough room for the bloat days and covers the mom pouch so good! I will only buy these shorts from now on, after I’m done writing this review I’m ordering 2 more! They aren’t too short but aren’t long so they’re perfect in my opinion. Bottom heavy approved which is where I hold most of my weight, my measurements are correct, I’m around 200ish pounds right now

These shorts are very comfortable for plus size girl. The fabric is stretchy but does not loose its shape. Thin enough to be cool. Legs to not ride up between legs. Cuffs stay put and do not unravel. Can dress up with a sassy top and sweater or with plain t-shirt. The light denim makes it so the rips do not stand out too much. Very cute! True to size. I bought XXL which fit me well. The shorts are so comfortable, so cute and are such a good fit. They are a nice length to feel short but not be too short. I ordered size XXL in the slouchy zip up style with faux rips and holes , and I wear them for the comfort and a great fit. I ordered size XL in another color, and they have a good fit, tighter but not too tight. There’s an excellent amount of stretch in these shorts, I have never worn denim shorts that were this comfortable. They are fantastic! Note: I really wanted a pair of faded dark gray shorts, so I ordered the button up ones in XXL. They do not have enough stretch at all, they buttoned up but were so uncomfortable I’m returning them.

These shorts were almost perfect, and would’ve been if I had smaller thighs. I just prefer some gapping at the thigh, instead of a snug fit, but if you prefer a snug fit, these were really comfy and had good stretch!! Cute for the price for sure. For sizing reference, I’m 5’9”, 145/150lbs and pear shaped (got a lotta hip & thigh, but narrower in the waist). The medium fit well, other than the thigh part, which like I said, if you don’t need your shorts to gap or flare at the bottom, these might be perfect!

Years ago I ordered tons of these shorts like 14 or so and I loved the fit and not so stretchy don’t like all that stretch. Now this year I am very disappointed. I ordered an extra large and that’s exactly what I am but the size was of a large. I was like okay they changed their sizing so I returned and ordered a 2 x and omg it’s HUGE. This sux I love this style no matter how old I get but I had to go to another label and purchase. Funny how I bought an extra large and it fits like it’s supposed to. So I finally moved on to hopefully a better company that delivers the correct sizes and like some companies they substitute when they run out of a size instead of just waiting till the correct size is available to ship out. So warning others if you are true to your size and they ship something a tad smaller it’s due to they ran out of your size and had way more of the smaller size or they ship out a bigger size. Thats what it seems to me. Plus I should have ordered more each year till they did whatever they did to their sizes.

I have been looking for years for a pair of shorts similar to ones that I still have from 15 years ago, and I am always disappointed. But not with Luvamia’s shorts. These were the match I have been looking for to cut, style and fit. This was my unicorn!!
I would highly recommend these shorts. I plan on purchasing in more colors. Know your measurements and order accordingly. Remember – no one see’s the tag ladies. If you order correctly, you will not be disappointed!

These shorts were almost perfect, and would’ve been if I had smaller thighs. I just prefer some gapping at the thigh, instead of a snug fit, but if you prefer a snug fit, these were really comfy and had good stretch!! Cute for the price for sure. For sizing reference, I’m 5’9”, 145/150lbs and pear shaped (got a lotta hip & thigh, but narrower in the waist). The medium fit well, other than the thigh part, which like I said, if you don’t need your shorts to gap or flare at the bottom, these might be perfect!

I love the color and style. The fit is a little snug at the button compared to other shorts I have. The zipper is crap, it’s really hard to zip up and down, makes me not want to wear them.

Years ago I ordered tons of these shorts like 14 or so and I loved the fit and not so stretchy don’t like all that stretch.
Now this year I am very disappointed. I ordered an extra large and that’s exactly what I am but the size was of a large. I was like okay they changed their sizing so I returned and ordered a 2 x and omg it’s HUGE.
This sux I love this style no matter how old I get but I had to go to another label and purchase. Funny how I bought an extra large and it fits like it’s supposed to.
So I finally moved on to hopefully a better company that delivers the correct sizes and like some companies they substitute when they run out of a size instead of just waiting till the correct size is available to ship out.
So warning others if you are true to your size and they ship something a tad smaller it’s due to they ran out of your size and had way more of the smaller size or they ship out a bigger size. Thats what it seems to me.
Plus I should have ordered more each year till they did whatever they did to their sizes.

I love these soooo much. They’re soft and stretchy and the perfect length! The faux rips are in just the right spot and they don’t ride up. I absolutely hate my thighs but I get so hot in summer that I have to wear shorts and these are perfect!! I’m 180 lbs and 5’4 for reference and I got the recommended size, large. Photos attached.
