The denim material feels like good quality, and despite being denim, the open and airy design means it’s not too hot even on a warm summer day. I especially love that it has pockets – always a huge plus in a dress! The flowy A-line fit is fantastic for eating out and feeling comfortable, even after a big meal. The Small size fits my 5’2″, 120lb frame well and is not too short.
There are a couple of small things to note. Due to the cutout back, I had to purchase a backless bra converter strap to keep my bra strap from being seen, which was an extra step. Also, the back zipper is a bit hard to reach, and with my current shoulder injury, it makes putting the dress on by myself a bit of a challenge.
Overall, it’s a charming and comfortable dress that’s great for casual summer wear, if you don’t mind the price tag and are able to reach around to pull the zipper up yourself.

I love denim dresses and was drawn to this one because of its unique design in the back area. The denim is light and comfortable and the light washed color is perfect. Where it fails for me is in the fit. I wear a 36C and I found it a little tight around the bust area. The overall fit was tight at the top and wide at the bottom. It just wasn’t a flattering look. If you have a smaller chest area and are on the petite side, I think this dress would look very cute. It just wasn’t for me.

I personally think the design and cut are attractive, and my wife also likes both. However, I can see these being a bit polarizing. The dress is basically just a big triangle, and that’s emphasized when it flares out. The back of the dress is also bound to be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, as the big diamond cutout definitely won’t be for everyone. Again, my wife and I both dig it, but YMMV.

I’m giving this 5 stars even though I don’t really think it’s flattering on me, because that’s not really the fault of the dress, comforting it looks exactly the same on me as it does in the product pictures. I’m just a little older than who this dress is targeted for probably (I’m almost 55). But I didn’t choose this dress for fashion, I chose it because I thought it would make a great cover up over my swimsuit when my husband and I go to the soaking pools. And I liked that it’s funky and unique, so I guess I got it a little bit for fashion. Even if I decide to wear this sometime not as a cover up, I will still wear a shirt underneath, because at my age, especially with a recent 60 pound weight loss- I don’t feel comfortable “showing off” my back.
This is well made. I love that because of the way it’s cut, it can be worn as a summer dress and actually not be too hot. Pretty good feat for denim. In my mind, this is one of those things that fall under the category of “it’s so ugly, it’s cute!”. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I do love it, and really glad I got it!

Update: I have worn this dress several times with three washes in regular cycle. By habit, I washed it alone on the first wash just to ensure the denim didn’t have bleeding onto other clothing. The back of the dress is also bound to be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, as the big diamond cutout definitely won’t be for everyone. Again, my wife and I both dig it, but YMMV.

I get that denim jeans are expensive when you buy them from a fashion brand store, but there are also really cheap looking jeans at super low prices.
It doesn’t drape well. The cut out in the back is terrible; it looks like an afterthought or a mistake.
This looks super cheap. It looks like grandma sewed it drunk without her glasses while learning how to use a sewing machine and made it with the jeans from discount websites nobody would wear.
The quality of the material is decent. It’s easy to wash and dry. But at this price it’s a terrible product.
In fact, I don’t think this would be a good buy at $40–but maybe there’s someone out there who won’t find this extremely ugly.

Great dress! Would recommend either wearing a bralette or backless bra with it, as anything will show in the back. Not too hot of fabric so can wear in warmer weather as well!

the dress fits well and looks nice. I got the blue denim and it was so nice that I decided to get the black, but unfortunately that material was incredibly stinky, so I had to return. Fit is great – awesome summer dress, but wouldn’t recommend the darker wash.

This denim babydoll mini dress is definitely fun and cute for summer! I ordered the light blue color and like the shade it comes in. The denim material feels like good quality, and despite being denim, the open and airy design means it’s not too hot even on a warm summer day. I especially love that it has pockets – always a huge plus in a dress! The flowy A-line fit is fantastic for eating out and feeling comfortable, even after a big meal. The Small size fits my 5’2″, 120lb frame well and is not too short.
There are a couple of small things to note. Due to the cutout back, I had to purchase a backless bra converter strap to keep my bra strap from being seen, which was an extra step. Also, the back zipper is a bit hard to reach, and with my current shoulder injury, it makes putting the dress on by myself a bit of a challenge.
Overall, it’s a charming and comfortable dress that’s great for casual summer wear, if you don’t mind the price tag and are able to reach around to pull the zipper up yourself.

This sun dress is so cute – swingy and comfortable. Can wear with sneakers for a shopping day, strappy sandals for a night out or a swim cover up at the beach!
