    Ordered tis after reading that an alternative jean jacket was being seen a lot this fall. It’s so attractive and not your usual denim. I got so many compliments on the style. The jacket is mid-weight so great for crisp fall days.

    I was honestly a little hesitant about the material when looking at the pictures, but I decided to take a chance—and I’m so glad I did. I LOVE THIS JACKET!! It’s super cute, very stylish, and looks great with so many outfits. The size large fits me well and feels comfortable without being too boxy. Such a great buy!

    The collar and cuffs are denim, and the rest is textured, similar to or reminds me of a large waffle knit. I love the length and that IT HAS POCKETS!!!

    I took my time writing the review. I wanted to wear the top before I commented. The top should be entitled “Trendy SWEATER” rather than “jacket.” The material is mostly sweater material and quite warm, so it would not be necessary to wear a jacket, unless it was inclement weather. I like the idea of this sweater being so warm. I paired it with a thin. and cropped light-brown turtleneck, and brown fleece-lined jeans.

    First, I searched for a “knit denim jacket” and this was a top result. A reviewer said this was essentially a waffle knit top with denim cuffs and collar. Sounds great. Stretchy jacket body confirmed by search and review! But that is NOT accurate. The body of the jacket is denim. Light weight and textured so not as constricting as a true jeans jacket but a woven NOT A KNIT. There is ZERO stretch. I wear an XL and this XL is pretty close to the body. It buttons but is tight in the chest and belly. Open it’s cute and hangs just like you’d want a jeans jacket to do. Length is perfect. The outer pockets are laughably small but there are interior pockets so a little help there for keys or something. Nothing to fit a phone. I’m not sure I need the zazzle of this much texture if it isn’t there to provide stretch stretch so will likely go back. If you are on the fence on the texture and buying this at $41.99 you can absolutely do better for a similar price point. If the price is reduced, might be a win.
    Also: I don’t know if Amazon search has gotten worse or if others have gotten better, but I am continually disappointed in the accuracy of the results lately. Amazon, if you’d like to drive fewer returns, having your search engine show things that were requested would help.

That said, it had a horrible chemical smell that I noticed right after taking it out of the package. I washed it with some other clothes and did a second rinse but everything now has the chemical smell. I will keep washing in hopes of removing the odor.

    Gorgeous jacket. It is indeed oversized, so perfect to adjust to pretty much any kind of weather by adding a few extra sweaters without being too tight. The color is exactly like I was looking for, not too dark, and not too light.

    Cute jacket but it stinks. I’ve had it for many months and still haven’t wore it because of the chemical order. Been washed multiple times. I wish I could return it. I’ll never be able to wear it . I don’t know if this is an issue with other people or only some of us. But it’s horrible.
