I expected good quality from Democracy and that’s what I got in these shorts. The fit is fantastic. They run true to size. They also sit just below the naval which on me is very flattering. I also like that they are short but cover your booty. Highly recommend!

These are so comfortable, true to size and don’t stretch out. You can roll them up for a more shorter look. I have bigger thighs and they aren’t tight around them! They are shorter than shown in the pic but that’s what the other reviews said so I ordered them. I bough a size 8.

I’m really happy with these women’s jean shorts! The quality is excellent—after a couple of washes, they’ve held up really well with no fading or shrinking. The fabric feels sturdy but still has enough stretch to be comfortable and move with me. I LOVE THESE SHORTS! I get so many compliments when wearing these. They are comfortable and I love that you can either wear them cuffed or not. I could have sized down one but it’s not to terrible I can’t wear them.

I’ve only had these shorts a little over a week and I like the fit, stretch, and look of them. Unfortunately I’m only giving them three stars because the zipper is a problem. Maybe it’s just a defect on my pair, but the zipper KEEPS coming down so the fly is open. I’ve never had this problem with any other pants or shorts.

After I discovered Democracy, it is the only brand of jeans and shorts I wear now. They are super comfortable and flattering. I’m not a big fan of the bottom cuffs, as they tend to unroll, but I still give these shorts 5 stars for comfort.

WOW!! Where have these been all of my life?! I am so glad I found these. As a mom of two I have a “belly apron” or over hanging belly from two c-sections. These have an elastic band around the waist that hold everything in. They’re SO COMFORTABLE!! Like I could wear them around the house and lounge in them!! Look no further, these are the best there is!! They’re also high quality, not too long and not too short. They remind me of Express jean shorts. I will definitely be ordering another pair!!

I absolutely love the fit of Democracy jeans and shorts. They have such a comfortable waist band that moves with you and the white shorts I ordered go with everything during the hot summer months. I really like the length of these shorts and the fabric is not too thin. I can always count on high quality and great fit with Democracy!

Love the shorts. I think I bought a little bit too big, but honestly I only have an issue after wearing all day and maybe recylcing. I will probably put in the dryer and let them shrink a bit or just wear a belt. They fit and look great and are super comfortable!!! Would highly recommend!

If you’ve worn Democracy brand pants or shorts, you know these are the best! They stay up and don’t gap in the back. No digging in either. It’s that thick elastic around the waist. I don’t know why more brands don’t follow suit! The material of the whole shorts is stretchy so that is very comfortable, too. 5’5, 175lbs, muscular build. I wear a size 12 in other brands as well as Democracy. Buy your normal size.

I truly ever write reviews, however, I just received my Ab Solutions shorts and can’t say enough how much I love them! They are comfortable and flattering! I just went shopping yesterday and was not happy with one thing I tried on! Covid did me in and I gained some unwanted weight and just couldn’t find anything that looked good. I held off trying these on once I received them because I was in my head about my weight. These were amazing! I am 4’11” and 130 pounds and ordered a Size 4. I know others have complained about the cuff not being sewed down, but that is one feature I loved about them too. Being short has its challenges and I can set the length to where I feel most comfortable. Now, back to the gym!!

These are nice shorts and they are comfortable and well made but they run very large. I usually wear a 10, very rarely an 8. I ordered and 8 based on other reviews and they are big. I kept the 8 because my brain can’t fathom that I might need a 6 in these. They aren’t so big that I can’t wear them but they don’t compress my abdomen at all, which is a bummer because I have a definite pooch and they are called “ab”solution. Definitely size down on these.

I’m 5’4” 125lbs. High Waist: 30”, Waist at Belly Button: 34”, Hips: 38”. Size 8 fit great. Long enough to be appropriate in public, but not so long that it’s unflattering. And if you want them shorter, the cuffs can be rolled/flipped up easily. Sits about 1/4 inch below my belly button. Really good quality: super soft with a comfortable stretch, but also a sturdy material that I can tell will last for years. The top has this soft, structured lining that doesn’t seem to sag throughout the day—stays in place. This is the most I’ve ever spent on shorts, but it’s also the first pair that fits well in all the right places. Soooo, I’m getting a second pair.
