It’s a nice sturdy belt but if you grab it by the buckle and just pull it through the loops you stand a fairly good chance at breaking it. So while the option to change the color is great it’s just not without flaws. It fits nice all and all. The buckle works great. It’s not to tight.

Quality has seemed to slip. I’ve had other Madden belts and they were workhorses. This one had a strange tacky coating making it difficult to work through pant belt loops. Edges are worn and fraying after only a few weeks use, and the holes seem to be wearing out abnormally fast. For the price and doing double duty as a reversible belt I understand it’s not going to last forever, but in comparison to previous belts of the same brand it seems less sturdy.

It is a nice looking belt. However, this is the 2nd one I have purchased that broke. They break at the point where the head swivels. I have included a photo. I do not recommend this belt. I tried twice but now know the quality is poor.

I bought this belt in late June this year. It is now December, merely six months later, the leather has cracks everywhere… As a matter of fact, this is my second time that I bought this belt. The previous one also lasted only a fee months. I thought I liked the look of the belt and I would give it another try, but no. I do not recommend anyone to buy this belt!

Sizing can also be tricky. I found it runs a bit larger than expected, so if you’re in between sizes, you might want to size down.
Despite these drawbacks, I still think it’s a solid belt for the look and functionality. Just don’t expect top-tier materials or long-term durability. If you’re okay with that, it’s a stylish choice that gets the job done.
