Item looked nice, in good shape, fabric was nice and thick, however overalls waist fits way smaller than the size that usually fits. Had to send back and reorder a waist size 2x larger. Refund was prompt, waiting for new item to arrive to see how it fits.

I am self-employed as step-deck tractor-trailer operator, and the physically demanding nature of the job has me always on the hunt for comfortable, durable and cost effective work clothes. Until now, I have always stuck with Carhartt bib overalls, but recently decided to try out a few other brands. Since my experience is solely with Carhartt bibs, that will be the standard I compare the Dickies to. I have only had the Dickies overalls a few days, so I haven’t had a chance to put them through the extreme real-world test of flatbedding, so my rating does not take experienced durability into account, only my initial impression and best guess as to how well these will perform over time. As I do with many of my reviews where durability is important, I plan on updating this in a month or two to reflect what I encountered with the overalls in the field.
These bibs have a much longer actual inseam than my other pairs of Carhartt bibs. In most slacks and jeans and Carhartt bibs, a 30″ inseam just touches the floor if I’m barefoot. With these and the other model of Dickies I’m trying out, the pant legs are so long that I could almost sew up the ends and forego socks. The ends of the cuffs terminate under the balls of my feet, when standing barefoot. This isn’t an issue with me because I like using a velcro strip to tighten the cuffs around the uppers of my boots to keep dust and bugs out; but I’m sure most people will want to order these a size or two shorter than their normal inseam length.
The overalls pictured in the image on the product page shows a medium to light blue fabric with white vertical lines. The overalls I got are nearly black with white lines. This isn’t an issue with me, because I’m not trying to make a fashion statement when I’m loading my trailer, but I’m sure many people will expect to get a product that looks like the image on the product page.
The overall quality of the stitching appears to be decent. The fabric is a little stiff compared to a brand new pair of Carhartts, but it did soften considerably after the initial wash. I’m sure after a few cycles, they will be as comfortable as my other bibs. I think my Carhartts appear to be made with a little bit more exacting standards, but the Dickies don’t look bad at all. I do like the wire hook style employed on the Dickies straps better than the spade design favored by Carhartt. While I only wore them around the house for a short time, the Dickies closure design seems like it will be less likely to twist and bind up (nearly impossible, in fact).
In summary, the Dickies bibs are better than a three star product, at least upon initial inspection. I’m forced to give them a three star rating however, because the inseam measurement as well as the fabric color is way off. For me personally, as I have already stated, these negatives are no big deal, but I’m sure they would cause some shoppers to feel the need to return the bibs. I’m hoping these bibs turn out to be as durable as my Carhartts, and I can upgrade the star rating to a 4.
***************************** UPDATE *****************************
I’ve incorporated these bibs into my work clothes rotation over the last three months and they’ve become one of my favorite pairs of bibs. Despite having a much longer inseam than advertised, these are definitely now the most comfortable set of bib overalls I own. The zipper works easily and smoothly (unlike some of my Carhartts)and I’ve found I really like the strap closure system. I do have one reservation left about these bibs. The material seems to be the same as another pair of Dickies bibs I’m trying out and the other pair of Dickies caught on a piece of steel that opened a three inch long rip in the leg. I’ve caught my Carhartts many times on steel corners and they have never ripped. Still, overall (pun intended) the Dickies bibs are worthy of four stars and I will probably buy more pairs in the future.

I love these! I am a size 12 and I got a 38w 30l I wanted them extra baggy! And that is what I got they are so nice they only thing Is they are a little long! Overalls are an essential in a closet so I am so glad to have these! They have many pockets and they are easy to use! I worried they would be to small but they are perfect if you want them baggy size up for sure i am 38 D in the chest and it is not tight but if I would have gotten my “normal” size (36w 30l) it would have probably been a little too tight! Overall super happy!

My son has actually worn these out wearing them all the time. The material is very thick and the size is true to size and you can just the straps really easy so that it fits you good and it’s got pockets if you’re like my son and like to put your hands in your pockets like he does. My personal opinion is that if you need some overalls these are great because my son like I said where is them all the time and is pretty much worn them out he wears them so much but he still got a long time that he can wear them because they last really good
Guardrail –
These are super comfortable. They are the traditional bibs from a great time in American history. The bibs are very well made and are a true fit. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. They have plenty of pockets, and even a place for a pocket watch. The shoulder straps snap into place and will not come loose while working.
Francisco –
bought them for my dad for christmas as they’re the only ones he wears for work, i thank god they had his size left in stock!

Item is well made, waist is true ,but it couldn’t fit me across the chest ,it was tight. So get your chest measurements before ordering it.

Love my overalls especially during the winter. They are great quality and strong material. I have them on multiple colors. They won’t fade after washing and boy I wash them multiple times a week as I used them for work. The pockets are very functional which give you the chance to carry essential tools on you and some won’t even show. They are pretty comfortable, fits well and the material is thick but not harsh on the skin. The best price is that they aren’t super expensive like others and you get good quality
DK –
Fit well, heavy denim fabric and true to size. Excellent for the price and quality. Wish the side leg pockets could fit a phone though. I know they are made for tools, but the chest pockets are not ideal

Great overalls. I use mine workin’, and fishin’, mostly. Fit just right, right out the package.

I am in HVAC Service and BAS install. Quality is there, holding up just as long as my Carhartts so far and honestly they look nicer. Also, they are not as thick as my Carhartts, so I am able to wear these in the summer. Good enough for winter too if you aren’t a pansy ( I joke ). Plenty of space in the bibs and has side pockets.
Mobility is just fine, as long as you get your regular size or size up. Good quality and more functional than regular work pants IMO.
BAH –
These are massive. I’m 6’3”, 228lbs, and normally wear a 36-38 waist pant, 34 inch inseam, so I got the 38/34 pair and they are so big it’s hard to describe. They are oddly tight around my midsection, but the legs are massive and so so long. They remind me of those crazy wide leg jeans that were popular like 30 years ago. They are huge. And I can’t even explain how long they are. They are easily 3 to 4 inches too long, even when I cinch the shoulder straps down quite tightly. I have worn a 34 inch inseam since I was like 15, and these fit like a 38 inch inseam. I think I would honestly have to buy a 38/30 in order to get these to fit. But, I got these on a sale, and the sale has now ended, so it’s not worth it to even try to get a smaller size. They’re just too expensive now. I will be returning them. (And when I opened them, there was dog hair on them?? Like they had already been returned but not cleaned?)
As far as the fabric goes, and the build quality, they’re pretty good. The fabric feels sturdy and durable. These are definitely a good work overall, if you could just figure out the right size. So just keep in mind they are way big!

i have been a long time wearer of bib and brace overalls and this has to be the worst pair i have ever bought , you possibly expect to have the length of the legs altered it goes with the territory but …. the body is that long that the bib is right under my throat and the flimsy strap adjuster buckles are over my shoulders and nearly as far as they can go to take up the slack and i am 6 ft 1″ tall , it would be interesting to see which type of person they actually fit . So unless you want to pay the extra cost to have the legs and straps altered ( way too much material for turn ups, half way up my shin ) don’t buy them , but if you do then don’t think of returning them because you have to pay postage to the usa

If you’ve never worn overalls, they’re completely different than Jean sizes. I wear a 34-32 Jean but had to ups size to 36-32 with these. With that being said, the legs are super baggy and longer than necessary but they are very comfortable to wear.

The Dickies Men’s Bib Overall is well-made and seems to be built to last for years of wear. The only comment I would add is that the length is a bit off (IF you don’t adjust the straps). Like other reviewers, I was concerned about the sizing because so many people said it was incorrect. At first, I was going to echo others, that the waist sizes are correct, but the length is not. I ordered a 32″ inseam (my usual length) and received a pair of overalls with legs so long that I was walking on the fabric, and my feet were completely covered. HOWEVER, curious about the sizing, I pulled out a measuring tape and found that the inseam was, in fact, exactly 32″ and true to spec. That was when I realized that the bib straps were just long (to be universal for people with long torsos), and the bib was so large I hadn’t noticed I wasn’t wearing it correctly. I tightened the straps to raise the bib and get the overalls to the correct height, and the fit was perfect. If you think you’ll want to wear them low, definitely order a length size down, but if you want to wear them like your normal-fitting pants, order true to size, and adjust the straps.

Quality seems good. Fitment is off a good bit. I’m 6ft and 250 lbs and normally wear 36×30 in jeans. Had to order a 44×30 to get the buttons on side to button. The length is still long and drag the ground and the legs are super wide.
Keaton Maggard –
Well made, and fit as described. Lots of pockets and sturdy/comfortable material make these overalls great for working outside in cold weather or just in the shop. Price is fantastic.

I’ve always liked Dickies brand work clothes, but this pair of overalls was a fail. The fit is comfortable and relaxed on top, but the legs are huge. They’re super long and very baggy in the leg. It’s nice that they don’t fit snugly in the legs so much that it’s uncomfortable or difficult to easily move around and work. To my surprise, despite how loose they fit, the crotch fabric blew out only the second time I wore them. You’d think I was wearing too tight pants the way they tore. Maybe because the fabric is weakened due to the light/ bleached kind of finish? I don’t know, but it’s disappointing and I’ll have to return them.

One of the best things I’ve ever ordered on Amazon. I ordered with my pants size and they’re just right. I looked on here for days and finally went with the Dickies and I’m glad I did. I do recommend them if you’re looking for a high quality and comfortable set of overalls that will last a really long time.

We love our new Dickies! The quality is what you’d expect from Dickies. I am taller and thin so I was pleased these not only went past my ankles but I could put a cute fold to show my boots in the family picture we took. For reference, mine are blue and my hub’s are black stripe.

Perfect for our “Redneck Christmas” – 10/10 Recommend!
”I bought this for our ‘Redneck Christmas’ event at our ATV mud park, and it absolutely nailed the assignment! The quality is amazing—it feels durable but is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear all day. It fits true to size and looks even better in person. For the price, you really can’t beat the value.

These are great overalls the qaulity is nice! I almost returned it because really baggy at the bottom and I mean super baggy but found a work around and cuffed them up and with boots it’s perfect! They are comfy and I’ll have to put it to work test but I don’t do hard work or construction so should hold up 👍🏻 also has a small little stitching or hole looks like for a button but it’s right in the middle chest but not big deal! Steal nice and worth it!
Andrew Espinoza –
These fit great! I typically wear size 8/29 women’s jeans and the 32×32 fit exactly as expected. Roomy and long legs so I cuffed them. I’ll wear them to do field work so I need them loose. If you’re a female and need them more slim, go down on the waist measurement. The denim fabric is soft and not tough. Definitely buying more in different colors.

Make no mistake, these are an amazing set of overalls designed for WORK! The material used is a heaaaaaaaavy denim and you will sweat your balls off in the summertime. There is enough room in the torso to allow movement without feeling restricted unless you’re really round. The legs are a traditional work cut that is more of a straight leg than trendy skinny jeans kids are wearing today.
Worn with or without a shirt underneath is totally acceptable, and if you keep them clean enough, a shirt and tie whisk accent these bad boys at any wedding, opera, quinceñera, funeral, or other formal event you are invited to. Keep in mind you might not get invited back because you’ll be the belle of the ball and upstage the bride or host. The length of the leg Is true to size. I’m 5’ 10” with a 30” inseam. That means I have a freakishly long torso and midget legs. Other overall manufactures make legs way too long so after cutting them to length and wearing a few times, I end up looking like Huck Finn. Not with these dudes, the hem is perfect to wear both with shoes or without. I’d like to take a moment to comment on the pockets of these overalls too. The front and back pockets, along with the watch pocket are exactly like every other pair of jeans you’ve ever worn, but the star of the show here are the in pockets. The bib pockets are THEEEEE PERRRRRRFECT size to hold a newer iPhone with the camera lenses peeking out to film all of your adventures. It’s like a GoPro pocket that you can do on-board editing with after the fact. You can film your fishing adventures to prove you coauthor that whopper, as well as offering a front row ticket ti your dirtbike adventures so when Kevin tries to call bullsh!t after you cleared that sweet double over the weekend you can pull up the footy and tell him to go back to his cubicle and shut the hell up. The last and probably most Important detail about these overalls are the straps: these dudes are jusssst a bit wider than other brand overalls and that makes a big difference in comfort. Especially since the material is so much more sturdy than a traditional light to mid-weight denim. The strap width is perfect and makes for super comf wearing. The brass adjuster buckle-things are well built and hold the straps in place. I’ve never had them slip or move with any of the dumb stuff I’ve done in them. You’re gonna want to tell your girl that her bra manufacturer should take notes in how well these buckles hold.
I think that’s about all I have to say about these overalls. I hope you have found my review informative. If you have made it this far, it’s obvious you’ve got too much time in your hands and need to leave the house more. So order yourself a pair of these overalls and get outside and be rad.

Great quality, but like a lot of Dickie’s stuff I’ve bought, the pant legs are too long. In every other pair of pants I’ve ever worn I’m a 34 length, and I had to hem off 4 inches when I ordered a 34 in these. Otherwise, amazingly durable and comfortable pants.

Well made, and fit as described. Lots of pockets and sturdy/comfortable material make these overalls great for working outside in cold weather or just in the shop. Price is fantastic.

Dessutom Made in Bangladesh känns inte så najs.

5’11 M 170lb – 32W (normal size), 30L (size down) fit perfect.
I was hesitant based off the other reviews in terms of sizing, but mine are pretty spot on. I have broad shoulders too. Overall, look great and comfy.

i have been a long time wearer of bib and brace overalls and this has to be the worst pair i have ever bought , you possibly expect to have the length of the legs altered it goes with the territory but …. the body is that long that the bib is right under my throat and the flimsy strap adjuster buckles are over my shoulders and nearly as far as they can go to take up the slack and i am 6 ft 1″ tall , it would be interesting to see which type of person they actually fit . So unless you want to pay the extra cost to have the legs and straps altered ( way too much material for turn ups, half way up my shin ) don’t buy them , but if you do then don’t think of returning them because you have to pay postage to the usa

Good quality denim. Great fit, enough pockets. Washes well, but make certain the first few washes are with like colors.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My Dickies overall bib is hands‑down one of the best work purchases I’ve made. As a locksmith in New York City, I’m constantly moving, kneeling, climbing, and squeezing into tight spaces, and this bib holds up to everything. The material is **tough, durable, and built for real work**, not just the look. It protects my clothes, keeps me clean on messy jobs, and still feels comfortable enough to wear all day.
The pockets are perfectly placed — deep, sturdy, and actually useful for tools, keys, markers, and small hardware. The fit is solid too: not too tight, not too baggy, and easy to layer over a hoodie in the winter. After a long day of door repairs, cylinder changes, or wiring up access control, this bib still looks good and holds its shape.
For anyone who works with their hands or needs gear that can survive NYC job sites, this is a **must‑have**. Absolutely a 5‑star product.

True as others state. LONG. I’m 6 ft and 160 lbs. I purchased 32×34 and there long: however perfect for my liking with boots. I liked so well i just purchased two more pairs. Old age, thin from cancer battle and they make it nice not having to pull up pants and able to kneel in garden and back up easier. 1st of 1,000 products i have ordered that made my day when i first wore.

Nice quality material and fit. Only problem is the leg length. Get one or two size shorter as the legs come in longer than stated.
