Nice jeans, they look good and are a high quality pair. Nice color and classic look. If you’re worried that these will be baggy or square looking like the 501’s, fear not. However they are (obviously) not as slim fitting as the 511 and 512’s which is no surprise.
My big issue: the waist is way too large for the size I order. I typically wear a 30in waist in almost everything. So i tried the slim fit 511’s with a 30-inch waist, and they were so tight i couldn’t pull them all the way up.
Not wanting to wear painted-on jeans, i decided to try these tapered fit jeans. They’re much looser and more comfortable, they look good, modern styling and comfortable for those with muscular thighs.
However, I’m disappointed because the 31-inch waist is seriously large. I would estimate the 31’s fit me like a pair of 33 or 34 inch jeans would in other brands. So i’m constantly pulling them up when i wear them.
i regret not returning them after i bought them, but i needed them quickly before a trip and crossed my fingers that they’d shrink up in the wash. Not so much.
The elastic waist is great but the sizing is so hard to judge. I would recommend ordering a couple different sizes to see what works best, then return the ones that don’t fit. Hindsight is 20-20, and now i can’t find this wash in a 30 or 29-inch waist so i’m stuck. Poor me…

Not wanting to wear painted-on jeans, i decided to try these tapered fit jeans. They’re much looser and more comfortable, they look good, modern styling and comfortable for those with muscular thighs.
However, I’m disappointed because the 31-inch waist is seriously large. I would estimate the 31’s fit me like a pair of 33 or 34 inch jeans would in other brands. So i’m constantly pulling them up when i wear them.
i regret not returning them after i bought them, but i needed them quickly before a trip and crossed my fingers that they’d shrink up in the wash. Not so much.
The elastic waist is great but the sizing is so hard to judge. I would recommend ordering a couple different sizes to see what works best, then return the ones that don’t fit. Hindsight is 20-20, and now i can’t find this wash in a 30 or 29-inch waist so i’m stuck. Poor me…

These are okay trousers. However know that they are not traditional denim type of fabric. They are thinner than regular jeans. Fit is comfortable enough. May run a tad small but with enough stretch to accommodate.

My favorite pants had to be cut off due to a motorcycle accident. These are the same brand and size. These fit perfectly. 1, Problem I got 2 pair exact same sizes. Only the blue pair fit perfect. The black are way smaller around the waste. The pants themselves are good fabric quality, with great deep pockets.

I’ve been looking for “moisture wicking” Levi’s 505s for over 15 years, after I found myself working in Spring monsoon season in Asia. All I found at the time was old man travel pants and some baggy skater jeans. I had to replenish my supply of 505s, and while poking around the Levi’s website, found out about the All Seasons Tech fabric. It is not described as “moisture wicking”, but described as more breathable in hot weather. But this fabric is only available in a few cuts / model numbers, and not 505. 502 was the closest fit I could find. The rise is one inch less, so they are “lower rise”, not “low rise”. The thigh and upper leg is not quite as generous as the new 505, but not as snug as the old (1990’s era) 505. The leg is narrower between the knee and ankle, tapering down about an inch. The 541 and 531 are much larger in the thigh and butt, and baggy on me.
The one negative in this is that there are only three color options in the All Seasons Tech fabric with the 502s, only one of those is blue, the Cholla Subtle. I am not sure what they are trying to do with this fabric. It has to be aimed at some specific niche market. The stitching is navy blue, instead, of gold, and they have heavily over dyed the denim fabric with navy blue dye. They look like WW2 era, navy issue dungarees, like you would see in a 1945 war movie. It’s so heavily over dyed that they bleed terribly on the first washing, and the white pockets turn blue. Because this is a stretch fabric, you can’t use bleach, like the 100% cotton jeans. Hydrogen peroxide has worked best for me with other stretch jeans, but the navy dye on the Cholla Subtle is very resistant to hydrogen peroxide. After four or five attempts at 8-12 hour soaks in hydrogen peroxide and water mix, I had barely made a dent. I ended up resorting to Rit brand color remover (two runs through the washing machine). But after each round with the dye remover, the color was even blue across the jeans, losing the fade and turning the pockets back from white to blue. So I had to soak the jeans in hydrogen peroxide after each use of the dye remover.
I managed to get them noticeably lighter in color. The vertical white grain pattern has started to emerge in the darker areas, but still not white, just lighter blue. I think I could get them back to looking like denim with more of the dye remover, or possibly the Rit Fast Fade. But, at this point, I’m a little tired of fighting them. I’ve decided to wear them a while. They feel a little more comfortable in hotter temperatures, but this is definitely not a moisture wicking fabric. Just a little more breathable.
I will wait until the 502s come up on sale again a couple weeks from now, buy another pair, and go at them more aggressively with dye remover or fast fade, and see if I can get them to a much lighter shade, with a the vertical grain lines in bright white.
I wish Levi’s would consider doing a 502 jean with the All Seasons fabric, in a normal blue denim, with gold stitching, like the Manzanita Subtle Adapt that is available in the 512 jeans.

Most of the jeans I wear are what’s called “Regular Fit”. I have some athletic fit, and one “Athletic Taper” (I think that’s how it called), by Lee, which is also great – I don’t remember the model, but somehow in Levi’s I tend to be “old school”, so I mostly wear the 514. I got one who’s 541, and a few old 501s which I don’t wear anymore: 100% cotton – avoid, it’s not comfortable, the 90s are over (sadly), and there are more advanced fabrics now. I was looking for something more modern and after consulting with Gemini he recommended the 502 after it assured me It’s not slim and surely not skinny. It’s regular fit in the thighs, and *slightly* tapered down the ankle. It looks very elegant, or as Gemini called it “Sharp”. I highly recommend it, and I’m thinking on getting another one at a different color. Very nice jeans, too bad I discovered it just now.

I’ve bought dozens of jeans for my husband and they are all too baggy. All the jeans today are just big all over. He is a small frame guy and needs a slender fit especially through the legs and rear. He always wore Levi’s in the 70’s and they fit like a glove but now you just can’t find that fit anywhere. These are as close to that as you will find. Not quite as slim fitting as the ones you wore in the 70’s but pretty close. They don’t look like he is swimming in them and they are not so peg legged his feet look like boats. He really likes them and will be ordering more. We bought the overhaul color and they washed great didn’t fade at all or shrink. If you are a guy with skinny legs and no butt these will look great on you!

Took a chance on ordering some more stylish-looking jeans for my husband (I can’t get him into a store – he hates shopping), and these are just fabulous! Highly recommended, and don’t worry – the sizing is generous/reasonable. I was a bit worried, because sometimes Levi’s jeans don’t fit all too well (at least on me), but these are just amazing – a must try item, in my opinion. The wash (Overhaul) was just perfect – a teensy bit of slight fading, but without looking too distressed, blingy or “trying too hard.” Very stylish and still classy. These look like expensive designer jeans, and are extremely flattering on. My husband looks like a million bucks in these jeans, and I’m so glad I ordered them.
These jeans will look good on if you’re 17 or 79, if you’re on the slim side or on the plump side – doesn’t matter – these are the jeans you want to get. I’ll definitely be ordering more.
In terms of fit/sizing – I will say that you can comfortably go with your “size” without worrying that these will be too small. If anything, they are a little bit more generously sized than other brands, but this does *not* mean they look baggy or outdated. They are slim fitting but without being too small. Hard to explain – but the cut of these jeans are very fashion-forward, and yet you’re not dealing with baggy pants or super skinny pants. They’re just perfect.
Must-get jeans, and they will work for any size, any age. Super stylish, not too skinny and not too loose.
I’ve been buying stuff online from Amazon for years, and these jeans are so good that I’m actually writing a review. Really good service from Amazon, and these jeans are just fabulous – I’d highly recommend them to just about everyone – no matter what your size or age – they’re that good. Bonus points for being able to order the inseam you want instead of dealing with designer jeans that are too long and have to be professionally hemmed.
Definitely try them. Will work for just about everyone – they aren’t too baggy and they aren’t too skinny – but still super-stylish looking. They aren’t too “blingy” either. Just fabulous actually, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a college student or a retiree, if you’re slim or or not-so-slim – they look great. Not sure about the difference between all the various washes available, but the Overhaul wash is a good one, if you’re going to try these.

I’ll most likely never find a pair of jeans that fits me well (small waist, large calfs/quads) and these definitely don’t either. I also got the 559 (range) and those fit me better. The waist on these seems like a 34 or 35 compared to a 32 and the legs are very tight higher up for me. I also got a 32/30 of the “medium poly” color. One interesting thing is they fit pretty damn well but the fabric is 50% cotton, 50% polyester. This makes the jean material look “metallic/shiny” as opposed to your normal jean color and the fabric is a lot thinner on this one.
I’m returning both 514’s and sticking w/ the 559’s. Overall, if these fit you you’ll probably like them UNLESS you get one of the 100% cotton pairs which is really 50% cotton and look horrible.

Es lo que esperaba, talla, color y corte justo como en las imágenes, además a buen precio, esa difícil encontrar esta calidad en tiendas departamentales al precio de Amazon, lo recomiendo.

Took a chance on ordering some more stylish-looking jeans for my husband (I can’t get him into a store – he hates shopping), and these are just fabulous! Highly recommended, and don’t worry – the sizing is generous/reasonable. I was a bit worried, because sometimes Levi’s jeans don’t fit all too well (at least on me), but these are just amazing – a must try item, in my opinion. The wash (Overhaul) was just perfect – a teensy bit of slight fading, but without looking too distressed, blingy or “trying too hard.” Very stylish and still classy. These look like expensive designer jeans, and are extremely flattering on. My husband looks like a million bucks in these jeans, and I’m so glad I ordered them.
These jeans will look good on if you’re 17 or 79, if you’re on the slim side or on the plump side – doesn’t matter – these are the jeans you want to get. I’ll definitely be ordering more.
In terms of fit/sizing – I will say that you can comfortably go with your “size” without worrying that these will be too small. If anything, they are a little bit more generously sized than other brands, but this does *not* mean they look baggy or outdated. They are slim fitting but without being too small. Hard to explain – but the cut of these jeans are very fashion-forward, and yet you’re not dealing with baggy pants or super skinny pants. They’re just perfect.
Must-get jeans, and they will work for any size, any age. Super stylish, not too skinny and not too loose.
I’ve been buying stuff online from Amazon for years, and these jeans are so good that I’m actually writing a review. Really good service from Amazon, and these jeans are just fabulous – I’d highly recommend them to just about everyone – no matter what your size or age – they’re that good. Bonus points for being able to order the inseam you want instead of dealing with designer jeans that are too long and have to be professionally hemmed.
Definitely try them. Will work for just about everyone – they aren’t too baggy and they aren’t too skinny – but still super-stylish looking. They aren’t too “blingy” either. Just fabulous actually, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a college student or a retiree, if you’re slim or or not-so-slim – they look great. Not sure about the difference between all the various washes available, but the Overhaul wash is a good one, if you’re going to try these.

I’ll most likely never find a pair of jeans that fits me well (small waist, large calfs/quads) and these definitely don’t either. I also got the 559 (range) and those fit me better. The waist on these seems like a 34 or 35 compared to a 32 and the legs are very tight higher up for me. I also got a 32/30 of the “medium poly” color. One interesting thing is they fit pretty damn well but the fabric is 50% cotton, 50% polyester. This makes the jean material look “metallic/shiny” as opposed to your normal jean color and the fabric is a lot thinner on this one.
I’m returning both 514’s and sticking w/ the 559’s. Overall, if these fit you you’ll probably like them UNLESS you get one of the 100% cotton pairs which is really 50% cotton and look horrible.
