Great quality, looks good if that’s the look you’re going for. Only serious advice might be to size up a size just to make sure it’s comfortable.
Overall, can’t go wrong with Levi’s. The original denim/jeans company.

This Levi’s Varsity Denim Bomber Jacket is an instant favorite and a solid addition to my growing Levi’s collection. It’s everything you’d expect from the brand — well made, timeless, and designed with just the right amount of modern edge. The varsity-style cuffs and waistband striping give it a sporty, laid-back vibe without looking too trendy.
The fit is right on the money. I ordered a size large and, at 6’2”, the sleeve length is perfect — no awkward short wrists here. The body of the jacket is roomy enough to wear over a lightweight sweater or a heavier shirt, making it great for transitional weather or layering in cooler temps.
The denim itself feels durable but not stiff, with just enough give for comfort and movement. I’ve already worn it with joggers, chinos, and jeans — it works effortlessly with casual fits.
Yes, Levi’s jackets might cost a little more than the average, but you’re paying for quality, style, and long-term wear. This is one of those pieces that’ll only get better with time. Can’t wait for the temps to drop so I can wear it more often.

This jacket has the classic Levi’s quality you’d expect — sturdy denim, solid stitching, and a comfortable lining. The bomber cut gives it a modern twist without feeling too trendy. It’s warm enough for cool evenings but not too heavy, making it good for layering. The fit is true to size with enough room for a hoodie underneath. Definitely a versatile piece for casual wear. It’s expensive overall but not a bad value with the quality of what you get.

I initially picked this jacket up because it just really felt like a throwback. And when it arrived, I was surprisingly impressed. The style is straight out of the ’80s and ’90s. It’s a classic varsity. It fits like you remember. And the feeling quality the fabric. It’s nice, it’s going to last a while. Now, it is a heavier jacket. So it’s not great for cool summer nights. I would reserve this one for temperatures at or around 60 degrees, maybe 62 max.
Great value here. It sells for pretty much what it did 30-40 years ago and will hold up just the same!

This is a nice denim jacket. The denim wash is a good blue, looking very similar to what you see in the pictures. It has a lining that would make it usable in at least three seasons; I don’t think it’s really a summer jacket, though, as it gets a bit warm in the heat and humidity. The denim feels well-made and not cheap or thin. I’d say it’s on the pricier side at first glance (just under $100 for most sizes at the time of writing) but considering the quality, I think it’s worth it if you like the varsity style.

I am 5 ft 8 and 200lbs. I bought the size XL. It fits better than I was expecting. With most Levi’s jackets I should be a size L. However I have kind of long arms and potbelly so I usually end up buying an XL for Levi’s trucker jackets. I would say this jacket has a fit that’s somewhere in between a size L and a size XL. When compared to the fit of the Levi’s trucker jacket.
Does that mean it fits slightly small? I don’t think so. I think it’s just a different style of coat so it just has a different type of fit.
One thing that surprised me about this jacket is the thickness of the denim. It’s much sturdier and thicker than I was expecting it to be. It seems like the same heavyweight denim they use for the trucker jackets. I also like that it has a zipper as well as snaps. I use the snaps most of the time and typically only use the zipper if the wind is blowing.
It’s a really nice looking jacket. It has that classic Americana look. Have you seen a film called The Sandlot? It looks like it could be right out of that film. If you don’t know, that is a film about neighborhood kids playing baseball in the 1960s. If you haven’t watched it, you should watch it. It’s great!
Personally I love that retro Americana, 1950s/1960s look. I cuff my blue jeans. And I wear Converse All Stars.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a midweight non insulated casual jacket. This is a great way to go.
See you at the ball game! Or maybe at the drive-in movies.
5/5 Stars.

Levi’s Men’s Varsity Denim Bomber Jacket blends classic Americana with modern streetwear flair, making it a standout piece for any casual wardrobe. The 100% cotton denim feels sturdy yet breathable, and the varsity-inspired ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem add a sporty edge that’s both retro and fresh. I love the dual closure system—snap placket and zipper—which gives it a secure fit and versatile styling options. The welt pockets are functional without bulking up the silhouette, and Levi’s signature red tab adds that iconic finishing touch. Whether you’re layering over a hoodie or pairing it with chinos, this jacket delivers timeless cool with everyday comfort.

This is a very nice, well-made Denim Bomber Jacket. The fabric has a 100% denim cotton exterior with a 100% polyester lining. I really like the polyester lining, it’s very comfortable and feels great against the skin. The lining extends down the sleeves to the cuffs, which makes it easier to slide your arm down the sleeves when wearing a long sleeve shirt and feels great when wearing a short sleeve shirt. There’s two exterior side pockets and one interior pocket. Sizing is accurate, I typically wear a large, which is what I ordered, and it fits properly. The jacket can be machined washed and tumbled dry. I think the jacket looks great; the stripe rib knit at collar, hem, and cuffs add an attractive touch. The zipper is robust, overall, the quality and workmanship are excellent. I really like my Levi’s Men’s Varsity Denim Bomber Jacket, and it has my recommendation.
