These suspenders work very well after a rebuild and a correction. The first time I used these one buckle, the back left of course, fell apart. A little bend with needle nose pliers to force the bracket to stay together and then they were better than new. I do not use suspenders regularly but recently got a rash after using harsh cleaners on my truck and lots of cold tomato sauce on me. As I prefer not to have my pants drop at a Walmart checkout while I’m loading groceries, these suspenders held my pants up while allowing me to have loose fitting britches.

Definitely sturdy, heavy leather in the back that joins the spenders. However, they can be uncomfortable with the leather in the back on bare skin. If you put your spenders on with your shirt underneath it will work fine. Length, size, weight should also be considered. These are heavy duty work suspenders.
I use spenders under my shirt etc. Not the best idea with these heavy-duty ones.

It became that time in life where my bf needed suspenders to avoid any social disasters. I purchased these. They look durable but my bf said the clips do not hold up well at work and he has to reattach them numerous times a day. He said they are very comfortable and I think they look nice. I probably got what I paid for.
I will research further and try another brand.

I’m surprised at what I got for 5 bucks. Nice metal clips that hold well, Strachey and comfortable, does the job fine. I’m a big dude so I wish the back center piece was a bit higher so the straps don’t want to slide down my shoulders as much but im not complaining for how cheap they are.

Used these to make scare crows for halloween. They were perfect. Good quality. Held up the pants for over a month straight in the outdoor elements. Easy to attach. I can’t say I wore them, but they looked comfortable.

On first glance these look very heavy duty, nice thick strap, gigantic clasps. They look the part to even hold up fireman pants. And then you notice the poorly executed single stitching, what a disappointment… just charge us another 50 cents or a dollar and then double or triple stich these things. Expect to do some mending as they are though, on arrival the treads on the stitch are already fraying.

I’ve had them for several months, worn them daily for work, and they still are as good as new. 2 minor issues: over time the clips wear holes in the waistbands of my jeans and the rear clips come undone if I am not careful getting in the car. Other than that I’ve been very pleased with them.

Bought these for my husband for doing yard work wearing old pants. They worked great from the get go and have held up fantastic. Read a lot of reviews and not sure why o many had issues. These wide comfortable and the clasps hold fine.

I use these for my heavy textile armored motorcycle riding pants and they work great. Clips, buckles and material are all high quality and top notch.
They are strong, comfortable and serve their purpose well.
One downside is that over time, they will stretch and lose some of their elasticity but at the price, they are an excellent value and allow for economic replacement every two years or so.
I will not hesitate to buy them again.

These were awesome. I got them from my dad. They were thick and strong. Metal latches were easy to use. They were alo larger than the ones he had so easier for his hands to handle. If I wore shirts I would get a pair.
