I needed new pants to wear for work, pants that also needed to go with my uniform…also they had to be jeans because I like jeans. So I went on Amazon to find some pairs that’ll fit and last a long time. I was able to find these jeans for sale that looked perfect, even though they were pretty pricey. They had a faint smell to them when they arrived that went away after a good wash. The waist size was exactly as I ordered, but the length of the legs were pretty long. It’s not the fault of the sellers or the company that makes them, I just haven’t been keeping up with my pant size for some time, but I was hoping that they would shrink a little bit after I washed them. But no they didn’t, so now I have cuff them up before going to work. They did feel a little heavy when I first walked around in them, but I think they’ve loosened up a bit after a couple washings. I waited a month after buying them to write a review because I wanted to see how long they lasted, and they seem to be working out well! Definitely recommended if you need some sturdy work pants, just make sure you know your measurements correctly.

Seams are well stitched, Color is good and I like the 7 belt loops instead of only 5. It has a generous fit around the legs and comfortable all around feel.

  3. B-Khar

These jeans appear to be a good value. They are also fairly comfortable.
The problem is that all three pairs I’ve had developed a tear in the exact same spot. The first pair it took a few months of wearing and washing about once per week. So I ordered a second pair. The very first wear they developed the same tear as the first. I returned fhem for a replacement. The replacement pair has now also developed that same tear in the same location. This time on the third wearing & laundering.
At this point it is obvious that a weak point in the fabric or construction is the problem. I am disabled and not very active. I am not working, running, or anything else crazy in these jeans.
Otherwise they seem fine. If the tear wasn’t in the location it is, right next to the bottom of the zipper, I wouldn’t even care.

Buena mezclilla y los que he usado no se despinta tanto.

  6. Malagent

Well worth the money. I wanted to order a pair of Levis 505 jeans but the price is stupid. Opted for these and very satisfied.

  7. Malagent

Well, I certainly seem to like these jeans. I have burned through 5 or 6 pairs of them in various sizes since 2022. I *THINK* they are worth it due to the low price. They seem of good quality. BUT… every 5 to 7 months, like clock-work, they all rip-out in spectacular fashion.

As another reviewer said: ” They always seemed to fit well and appear sturdy but after 11 [5 to 7 in my experience] months All THREE pairs split at the seams in the exact same spot. Along the inside of the right rear pocket all the way to the crotch. Physically I’m no bigger than I was a year ago but it seems like poor stitching in one particular spot ruined these pants.”

YES — This is always where the jeans rip apart.

I just bought two more pairs. Next time I may look and see how much more money another brand is then decide.

  8. Rich

I just needed some jeans that I would be upset if I ruined them with yard work or something. Fit great and seem well made. No issues yet after the third wash and wear. For the price. they are perfect.

  9. Fryzilla: King of the Monsters

The jeans are a great fit for me. I usually have a hard time finding jeans that are relaxed enough to fit my legs right. The material is thinner that other jeans that I have, but are a great durable quality. I work as a welder and they’ve held up to several shifts worth of abuse that I’ve put them through.

  10. bardofoc

I bought two pairs of these jeans after the initial brand I wore tore in the crouch area after years of use due to all the squatting I do. Those jeans were of a higher quality but they were not designed for manual labor so I decided on Red Kap since they were inexpensive and work dedicated jeans. But they turned out to not at all be worth the price. Nevermind one year. These didn’t last half of a year since almost as if clock work these two pairs tore simultaneously at the six month mark. The tears were the same and also like tears described by other buyers in that they started at the right pocket seam and went all the way down to the crouch. I laughed at myself when they happened because it seemed as if the pants were rigged to fail that way. So disregard the $20 or so you might be paying for this brand. Do thorough research and choose a brand users have rated as being of higher quality or simply more reliable than only lasting a few months of use to ensure that you are getting the most for your dollar. That’s what I know I’ll be doing next.

So far these have been very comfortable, fit and color look as ordered, very warm and look great. Best jeans I’ve bought at this price point.

    Lint. Lint everywhere.
I can’t believe how much lint comes off these pants. The dryer filter fills up quickly. The floors in the house fills up quickly. I am not sure why these let off so much lint! I bought 6 pair and wear daily for work. My house has become a blue lint factory from these. The fit and form are grate, no problems there. I can imagine why others say these fail in short time with holes or tears forming with no abuse. They are basically letting out the cloth they are made of all over the floor. Strange material. Anyone else have this problem with these? When I dry them, I do a damp dry only to prevent shrinkage.

Very comfortable, an holding up well.

Although I returned the jeans they were well made and worth the price. Size was a longer than expected.

  19. Brooks

The quality is lacking. I have purchased these jeans twice. 1. it started to fray where the back pocket is attached to the jean…like the weave was thin. 2. I bought a second pair thinking the first was a defective one-off. Well the second pair is now fraying also where the back pocket is attached to the jean, but also near the front zipper.
Although they seem like a quality product, they must use inferior materials.

  25. s.Brunson

My initial impression when I opened these jeans was that the material was much heavier and higher quality than the Wranglers I typically buy. After I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised because the cut of these jeans made them the most comfortable I have ever owned. There is space where I need more space, and they are snug where I need them to be snug. I am very impressed with the fit and comfort, especially since they were half the price of the jeans I usually buy. If they hold up 9 months ( the usual life span of any jeans I buy), then Red Kap has earned a new customer as long as they make these jeans.

I haven’t had these long enough for the dred 3-4 month rip out to occur, and if it does, I will update the review.

Fit was excellent. However, 5-6 weeks after purchase (maybe five wearings) pants suddenly ripped in the seat. Not an inch or two but a full 9+ inches. Can’t return them as it’s been longer than 30 days. Thought I had found a legitimate replacement for over priced and diminishing quality Levis or Kirklands that never have my size. Back to the drawing board.

Don’t waste your money! The jeans fit and looked good. The very first time I knelt down to do some chores around the house, the crotch ripped out in two places. I have NEVER had that happen with new Wranglers or Levi’s. Horrible product with cheap material.
