This hat looks great, and what I love most about it is its vintage denim style. I’ll buy this hat to have a cup of coffee with friends or go to gatherings—it will definitely be the key piece that anchors my outfit.

The pattern in the denim on this newsboy hat is really nice and it gives the hat an elevated, handsome look that differs from those that are one solid color. It has a plastic piece in the front that helps hold the shape during shipping. The denim is a medium weight- not thin, but also not a super thick denim. I ordered this for a very discerning co-worker who wears hats everyday and he loved it!
When he first put it on, it felt big and that was easily solved by adjusting the buckles on the sides. After adjusting, it fit great. The shape is really nice. It doesn’t try to stick out on the sides like you sometimes see with this style of hat. You can bend the front a bit if you want a little more curve. Overall, really happy with this item.

I love the design and fit of the hat, but as someone who fiddles with stuff and expects it to be as labeled I was a little bothered by the feel of the fabric when I rubbed it on softer skin. I pulled a few fibers and did a burn test off them and the material which was stated to be cotton curled away from the flame as it approached and became a small black bead. If this is indeed 100% cotton it has been very heavily treated. The fibers I tested on behaved more like a synthetic fiber than a natural one. The care instructions also indicate not to use PCE which can damage polymers and synthetics and may have issues with cotton in certain cases.
That being said, if you or the person to be wearing this doesn’t have fabric sensitivities I recommend the hat despite the potential mislabeling and maybe giving it a good rinse with tap water to remove any fabric treatment residue.I will still wear mine, but with the 100% cotton label removed.

I wasn’t sure how I would look in this hat, but I love it. Great price, and made out of quality denim. It has an adjustable size, so it should fit any head, including my big head. Really happy with it.
