Overall, this is a nice piece and I’m hoping to wear it more in the summer. Do I personally find it true to size? No, but as a plus size girl… I always gamble by ordering online. however it does fit, it just doesn’t button. The color is great, and it matches what is online. Washing it created wrinkles that only come lut with ironing so that’s a pain.

The color of this vest was a letdown for me. Instead of the usual light blue denim that looks fresh and stylish, it had brownish undertones that I just didn’t find appealing. The cut wasn’t great either—I had to size down, and even then, it didn’t quite match what I expected from the photos. That said, the quality is solid. The stitching is well done, and it does close properly in the front. If the color and fit had been better, I probably would’ve liked it more.

I see I get the honor of the very first review. So I love the style, look, fit… of this black denim vest! I got it in black. The denim has a nice weight and feel to it, it’s a lighter weight and it hangs beautifully! The fit is a relaxed loose style but not sloppy, it comes down past my hips ands covers my bumm but I’m short too, and I’m good with it. Love the traditional metal stud buttons and the oversized front low patch pockets, stitching is good throughout upon close inspection. Arm holes are big enough to be comfortable and not restricting movement. Pockets are big and deep enough so things won’t fall out too!
This can be worn more casually unbuttoned or buttoned up for a more polished look and will be great to pair with just about anything! It’s a versatile piece that crosses all seasons! A greast wardrobe staple piece!
This is 100% polyester and should hold it’s color well too. It’s easy care machine wash cold no bleach.

I would order your true size and that will fit large. The description says this is made of polyester but I’d swear it was lightweight soft denim–so it’s an excellent copy.

STATS:
-5’4″ short waisted, 36C/D with a 40in overbust measurement. Age 50ish.
-this fits with room to spare, about 4in.
-I usually wear a large top and medium bottom.
-I could go with a small but I am concerned about it not laying right… I wanted slightly oversized so it would not fit tight over the stomach or hike up on it.
PROS:
– comfortable with functional pockets.
-seems to be well sewn.
NUETRAL:
-medium weight, regular jean type material (if that’s what your looking for… not chambray, the video reads more chambray IMO)
CONS:
-very boxy, not a youthful cut, kinda reads granny, prairie or shopkeepers vest.
-the medium blue wash looks a little dated.
-the buttons jingle and are a bit cheap.
That being said, I’ll try and make it work and would consider more colors at the $19 price point. I like the idea of it but I’m a little Meh on the execution.
