This dress looked great in so many reviews but I was unfortunately really disappointed in the quality. I may have ordered the wrong size, I’m not sure, but this wasn’t a size I could actually try on. However, outside of that, there was a distinct smell (like a wet smell) and lots of loose threads. For a $60 dress, I’d expect a bit more. This is a return for me.

This dress is fabulous! It is a medium weight denim. The thick hem on the sleeves and bottom make it look expensive. I am 5’11” and 155lbs. I am a straight build, but this dress can be great on all body types. I bought the XL. Could have gone down to a medium but I like the roomy fit. This dress is very comparable to my Anthropologie denim shift. Would highly recommend.

The sleeves fit me 3/4 length but I plan to remove the cuff and leave the raw edge. The V-neck is a bit steep for me but I can sew up an inch or wear a lace bralette. It has pockets!!! Based on other reviews, I was prepared for a strange smell, and it didn’t come out right away in the wash, but it has faded to barely there at this point. I make sure to hang dry, so I don’t know if it would shrink in the dryer. I would definitely recommend this dress!
