This is like the quality of clothing you would find in stores before 2000. This is thick demin that is nicely softened, a very light stretch, stitching all seems solid. The design is fun and the embroidery is really pretty. Now, about fit. I’ve sewn clothes forever, and this particular fit has a fold across the hip unless you wear them at the high waist (mom jeans) but also if your thighs are thick across the front hip(me) this can also make that fold at the zipper. You can do two things, keep them high on the waist, or maybe size up for thighs to keep from pulling that seam, that makes the area fold up. I don’t think these have much booty room either if you have a voluminous backside. So definitely check your measurements against their chart.
I like these rolled up. They have a late 80’s feel in bagginess that makes me hear Bananarama’s “Cruel Summer” and I like it. (Big t-shirt and a hip belt please.) The leg cut also keeps the bulk of the fabric to the outside of the leg. So less inner thigh bulk appearance, and also disguises the shape of the leg if you have the chubby knees like me. 🙂
So, as you can see, I’m mostly thighs here, at 5’5″, 168ish lbs. I could have gone up a size, but these stay on with no belt because of the elastic waist. Comfy sitting down and not cutting into my gut because the stretch is just enough. Keepers!

My daughter loves the design on the jeans. She received a lot of compliments when she wore them to school. For some reason though these are very stiff and not comfortable in the crotch area on the jeans. The material is stiff and does not feel comfortable like her other jeans. Due to that she has not worn them as much. Again, we love the design on them, but the seam areas are not soft and around around the upper part of the legs.

I ordered a size M, which is my normal size, and they fit perfectly around my butt, legs, and length. They are a bit tight around my waist, but I’m two weeks postpartum, so I think they will fit much better in a little while.

Wonderful fabric and looked well-made but the sizing is way off—medium was too small yet should have fit based on item description and size numbers from another buyer. Had to return them.
