I got this Wrangler Authentics Men’s Long Sleeve Classic Woven Shirt for work, and it fits perfectly. The fabric has a good feel—light yet durable—and is comfortable to wear all day. I also really like the color options, which give me a nice variety for different outfits. It’s easy to wash, doesn’t shrink, and has a classic look that works well for both casual and work settings. Overall, a great, affordable shirt!

  2. Cory Clark

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Hemd. Es macht einen robusten Eindruck und passt wie erwartet. Der Preis war viel günstiger als im Geschäft. Absolute Empfehlung.

  3. Stephen

Im usually a M and sized down to a SM. A bit bulky in the sleeves but.. good quality. Solid shirt.. just heavy enough. Size down and wear an undershirt and you’re golden.

  4. de Feluy

these shirts are a great alternative to the boring office/business shirt – they have more room around the shoulder but still fit like a shirt

  5. Tobius

Oltre a vestire almeno una taglia in più il colore è diverso dalla foto, più scuro, direi più un verde militare

  6. Nicola Ferrari

Très belle et solide chemise qui allie le pratique et l’esthétique !

So I’m sitting here contemplating the dermatologist’s orders (rather standard, but in these parts standardly ignored) that every square inch of skin must be covered up when one is out of doors here in lovely uptown Arizona.

Well, in a country where most women decline to wear burqas, that’s not very practical advice… Oh well. Then I remembered: the chambray shirt!

Whoa! Literally… Back in the day, when we had a ranch and I used to ride a horse around the boondocks at every possible chance, Phoenix used to host a store called Yellow Front. An odd emporium, it had features of a general store, a Sportsman’s Warehouse, and a blue-collar worker’s supply. I bought a pair of saddlebags for Babe there — very handy! And jeans and bandannas and fishing gear and a felt-covered canteen and…all sorts of cool stuff.

One of the cool things you could get there were men’s blue chambray work shirts. They were cotton plus some kind of synthetic, as I recall — so you didn’t have to iron the damn things, the way you had to iron your daddy’s khaki shirts once a week. And they were the bidness! Loose-fitting even in the smallest men’s size (which was the only size that would even remotely fit a 120-pound woman), they let air flow all around you (if you left the tails untucked) and so, much like an Arab’s white robes, would keep you cool on a warm day by blocking the direct sun while creating a kind of natural air-conditioning.

Yellow Front, like all things American and Good, is long gone. In the past I’ve looked for the things at joints like Target and Walmart and found them…disappeared. Hmmm… chambray chAMbray chAMAZONbray! Why the heck not?

Off to the Web! Look it up, and lo! Wrangler still makes them!!! And Amazon has got them!

    HOT diggety DAYum!

Order one up. Late this morning, stroll out to the front courtyard to imbibe the remains of the day’s coffee, and lo! There’s a package from Amazon. Grab. Rip open. And lo! There’s a good old chambray shirt.

This one’s fabric is a little heavier gauge than the ones I recall. It’s 100% cotton. And instead of being made somewhere in New England or the Midwest, it’s fabriqué in Bangladesh, which is too bad. Shame on Wrangler! Still…at least they’re still making them and shipping them to…Amazon. Yeah.

And the “small” size does still fit. A little long in the arms, which as I recall was the case with the original. I used to roll up the sleeves, aping a handsome young man whose style I admired. For an old lady’s purposes, though, this is…umh, handy, because when left to their own whim, the cuffs slide down past your wrists and cover about half the back of your hand, thereby protecting the supposedly precancerous area from the dreaded sun.

This kind of shirt makes a great lounge-around-the-house cover-up when the weather’s cold, too. I don’t run the heat in the winter — saving the power then makes it marginally affordable to run the air conditioning in the summertime. So what’s needed here at the Funny Farm is something to keep off the chill that can be run through the washer and is not too fancy to wear while gardening and cleaning the pool and scrubbing down the kitchen and is sturdy enough to hold up to said activities. For the summer: all of the above, except substitute “keep off the sun” for the first desideratum.

    Just the ticket.

Heh. Wrangler. I used to wear Wranglers jeans. That was SO outré! Lawyers’ wives did not wear Wranglers. No, nooo, dear, it was just not done! At the worst, you could wear Levis, but even that…tsk tsk. If it cost less than $50, it was just…no.

Well, being the sassy little broad that I was, of course I wore Wranglers, because the things fit. Levis do not fit a 120-pound woman with a 130-pound rear-end. 😀 Do not now, did not then, never will. Wranglers would fit real women, and they fit women who were given to riding horses. Not only could you breathe in the things, you could swing your leg up over a saddle and push yourself clear of a horse that was going down or trying to throw you. Not only did I wear the things, I wore them to teach in graduate school. So there!

Think I’ll order up a few more of these fine garments. Now…if only I could get ahold of another mare…

About two years ago, Wrangler had a previous version of this shirt at my local Walmart. I bought several in assorted colors. They fit me well and looked great. The fabric is like a softer version of canvas. They are fairly sturdy but surprisingly comfortable. They can be worn as a work shirt or a “casual dress shirt”. Like some items custom made for this by Duluth, this shirt can pull double duty either in the garage or at the office, in the field or dealing with customers, out on the shop floor or around the conference table. It’s also comfortable enough for lounging around the house and it layers well for different temperatures.

The pockets here are a plus. The material is strong enough to stay up with plenty of clipped pens. A small spiral notebook is no problem. These pockets are just the right height for a Kershaw Dividend with deep carry clip, which is perfect for when you don’t want a metal clip on your pants pocket.

I had been kicking myself for not buying more of these when they were available. Having become my favorite shirt, they had become a staple for all but the hottest weather. Between that and washing them hotter than we should, they’ve faded a bit and small holes have started at the top corners of the pockets. I was so happy to find this newer version of the same shirt here on Amazon. Aside from the tag and the color of the fabric inside the color, it is identical.

I’ve bought several of these Wrangler Authentics Long Sleeve Woven Shirts in different colors, and I keep coming back for more because they’re that good. The material is soft and has just the right amount of stretch to make it super comfortable, and the relaxed fit feels perfect – not too baggy but not tight either. It’s the kind of shirt that works well for running errands, hanging out with friends, or just wearing around the house. I also love the two chest pockets; they add a nice touch without looking bulky.

What really makes these shirts stand out for me is how well they hold up. I’ve washed mine over and over, and they still look great – no shrinking, fading, or weird stretching. The fabric is a little on the thicker side, so they’re perfect for cooler weather or layering, but maybe not the best choice on a really hot day. My only minor complaint is that the buttons feel a little cheap compared to the rest of the shirt, but it hasn’t been a big issue for me.

All in all, this is a solid, reliable shirt that looks good and feels great. I’ve stocked up on multiple colors and wear them all the time. If you’re looking for something comfortable, durable, and easy to throw on for just about anything, you can’t go wrong with this one.

**Review: Wrangler Authentics Men’s Long Sleeve Classic Woven Shirt**

I recently purchased the Wrangler Authentics Men’s Long Sleeve Classic Woven Shirt, and overall, I’m quite impressed with its quality. The fabric feels durable and well-made, with a nice texture that adds a bit of character to the shirt. It’s clear that Wrangler has put a lot of thought into the construction, as the stitching is strong, and the buttons are securely attached. This shirt seems built to last, making it a great addition to any wardrobe.

However, I found that the sizing runs larger than expected. While I appreciate a relaxed fit, this shirt feels a bit too oversized (I’m 6’0” and 185lbs — ordered a Large) especially in the sleeves and shoulders. If you’re someone who prefers a more tailored or true-to-size fit, you might want to consider sizing down. Despite this, the quality and design are excellent, so with a little adjustment, it can still be a great piece to wear.

I will keep the Large I ordered, as I might be able to layer it in the Fall/Winter. But I will be ordering and sizing down to a Medium for a better fit.

La camisa es bonita, el color tal cual se describe, el material de calidad, pero lo más importante es que talla bastante ancha, por lo que yo pedí una menos y acerté.

  13. Victoria H.

Great fit, great look, easy to wear and clean. I’m a little more than medium in my chest but just barely a medium in my waist. So I got a medium and it fits great. Not baggy in the waist but loose just enough. Shoulders are well fitted but not restrictive. Love it. And its rugged doesn’t fall apart or fade fast. Ive ordered 4 different colors.

  14. Chad bisch

Nice shirt for the money. Bought a large. I’m 5’11 – 190 lbs. Fits great. Not baggy. Not tight

Bella camicia e buon tessuto, ma decisamente troppo grande! Sembrava più una camicia da notte… restituita

This is such a great shirt that I ended up buying three of these. One for my husband and two for my sons. The fit is perfect. It has nice long sleeves and the body is not overwhelming. The length of the shirt is good too. The fabric is nice quality. The shirt can be dressed up or down. My son tried it on with both khaki and black pants and it looked great with both. My son is 6 foot 10 165 pounds and I bought him a medium. My other son is 6 foot tall 165pounds and I bought him a large. My husband is 6 foot two 220 pounds and I bought him an extra extra large.

Nice work shirt, nice color, does not come out of the dryer with countless wrinkles either. My husband really like them and I think they look nice on him too. True to size.

  20. NDcowdog

True to size. Purchased brown in medium for 6’2”/127lb male. Ample sleeve and tuck-in length. I air dry so cannot attest to shrink. Minimal wrinkle. Wrangler dependability, quality sewn long sleeve shirt.

  21. Christopher Averett

The shirt is well made of denim and has the older style standard buttons and fits well. the material is on the thin side making it good for warm weather, not cold weather.

  22. shaixhulud

My husbands favorite shirt. He uses it over his t-shirts when he goes to work. He says its comfortable, fit’s he perfectly and is just the right warmth. He had gotten one years ago as a gift and I was so happy to find it again. The original is literally rotting off him after years and years of almost daily wear. Keep making this one please!!

Perfect fit and quality. A very comfortable shirt!

Love the shirt. Nice fabric. Nice color. Nice fit and feel. However, color selection very limited. Only one other option. Please offer more colors!

I’m really impressed with this shirt. It feels and looks great when worn untucked, giving it a relaxed yet stylish vibe. The quality stands out immediately—the stitching is straight and clean, showing real attention to detail. The fabric is durable, and I love that the color doesn’t fade even after multiple washes.
The style is classic but versatile, making it easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. Overall, it’s a well-made shirt that combines comfort, quality, and timeless design. Highly recommend!

    Seems nicely made.
    Thickish, comfy material.
It’s so comforting on my tender, nubile, silky skin.
It’s good fit, nice style, non clingy, and has not shrunk after 1 washing.
There I hit all the suggested review points.
I’m a very cute, straight, 55 year old, male, punk.
    Hit me up ladies.
    (I’m kidding, go away)
    I’m hideous.
    But cute.

A new shirt should not arrive with only the 4th and 6th buttons, counting from the top, buttoned, with the shirt semi rolled then folded, then tightly rolled some more creating s severely wrinkled shirt. It was squeezed into a bag of the proper size for a new shirt packaged at the factory to have been in. This looks like a shirt that may have been tried on and returned, which I can understand, but not making any effort to make it look presentable is wrong. If this shirt had been for sale in a store in this condition, I would not have picked it up to look at it and of course, never have bought it. It bothers me to write this review because the shirt itself appears to be of proper, factory-made quality.

This is a very comfortable shirt in a regular large fit. The price was very reasonable and shipped free on Amazon I am very satisfied.

This has quickly become a go to shirt.
It’s comfortable and seems to be getting softer every time I wash it. The fit is a little loose but in a good way. Thanks Wrangler.

  39. Dennis

This is a good-looking shirt and fits exactly as it should for the size I ordered. I like the color, and I like the thickness. It’s not too heavy but not light and flimsy either. It is basically what I would want in a shirt.

  40. Nick

Something I haven’t seen people comment on regarding this shirt is the unbelievable durability it has while retaining flexibility and breathability. It’s cotton, so get it large, y’know with the shrinkage and whatnot. But from my experience, I only noticed about 1/8 inch shrinkage on the bottom and about a 1/16 on the sleeves. It’s not the warmest piece in the world, but that’s what jackets are for. As far as softness goes, it is NOT going to be sleepwear. It’s durable, a little rugged, and overall just a great piece. I would probably buy another in blue sometime down the line.

  41. Rhonda Marshall

Nice shirt… I had to wash it soon as it arrived it was quite wrinkled. After the wash and dry it looked nice.

  42. Vlad3368

So happy I found this shirt online. Now it’s my favorite shirt to wear, the color, the quality, and the feel is amazing. Also, did NOT shrink after washing, love it.
