I’m 5’3” so it’s maxi length on me. Size M fit well and is comfortable. I’m 133#. Love the 4 functional pockets! The cut of the skirt makes the front inset fall, almost like a slit which is actually flattering, especially since there is no actual slit so you don’t have to show a lot of leg. I knew the black denim was going to be dark and was hoping it would be a little more on the gray spectrum with the unfinished part at the bottom having some color variation but it was a uniform dark black instead. I still like it a lot and I’m keeping it — will be suitable for three and possibly four season wear. It literally arrived today and I’m wearing it tonight.

For reference, I am 5ft 1in, 112lbs, 34 D/E chest, 27 waist, 37 hip. I ordered the small in light blue. The fit is perfect and exactly as I expected, so a little bit longer on me than others but it’s still great. I will say the color is a little darker than I was expecting from the photo but lucky I don’t mind that much when it comes to jeans. I can be pretty picky about color in other garments.
The skirt itself is really fun. It does look like a really well done upcycled jean skirt from soft, old, worn out jean pants. It’s going to look so cute with so many things and the best part is I can wear it pretty much year around. How fun is this skirt in the fall with a a cable-knit sweater and boots? In summer with a gypsy/cropped peasant top and a woven bag and hat? I have big plans for this skirt. The care is attractively easy-peasy too. Just throw it in with the jeans! Love that.
I did take one star off for a zipper that feels sticky and a little low-quality. I’m afraid the zipper will probably be where this piece fails, but I sure will enjoy this skirt until it does.

It is a lovely, LONG skirt (I’m 5’11), and I especially like the dark denim. The quality is high, although some people might not realize the hem is supposed to look unfinished on purpose. It is a little tight around the waist, which surprised me since I always select the same size on this site, and the clothing always fits perfectly. The scale says I have not gained weight, so I guess it is just one of those things. I doubt it will take me long to put in the effort to get the right fit; after all, the fit isn’t THAT far off.

These skirts are really cute but not for me. In my younger days probably. They are stiff and the v part in the back hung in a way that was not flattering. Probably after a few washes that would have laid better. I returned and ordered larger size but that didn’t fix the problem. So sad. I returned.
