I ordered this skirt because it’s mostly cotton, a line & seems like it would be great for summer and working out, since I only wear skirts. The sizing is great, seems well made & I’m super excited to wear it. The a line feature is my favorite and it’s really open and no droopy or weighed down. Totally cute & feminine. This is a medium weight cotton, A- lined, below the knee skirt with ruching around the waist as pictured. It has a flattering fit and is really nice for spring into summer. The medium weight cotton fabric means there is no need for a slip underneath because it is not a see through fabric and eliminates that as a worry, yet it is lightweight enough to wear and stay cool and carefree for summer. It looks nice enough for work as well as leisure. It can be worn with sandals or any shoes for the summer. You will most likely want to wear any T shirt or top tucked in, to show off the styling and detailing of the ruched waistline and adjustable sash with metal tips, which is a clever way to divert from the fact it is an elastic waistline, but it looks more stylish and flattering. I bought this skirt in the army green, (which is closer to a sage green to me) and brick red, (which is a little closer to a burnt orange color.) Good quality cotton and these colors are hard to find so I’m glad I found these. (The brick red matches a burnt orange linen jacket that I have perfectly.) They were the exact colors that I was looking for and do appear as pictured. They compliment and coordinate well with a lot of cotton and linen summer items well. The skirt also has two nice deep pockets on the side on a slant so that they do not disturb the slimming A line of the skirt. This is a nice design feature as some pockets in a dress or skirt can pucker or bulge and make the area, usually around the hips, look bulky or unfattering. These pockets really can’t be seen until you slide your hands in them. They are seemless.

I adore this skirt! I’m plus size and not so confident in most clothes. But this makes me feel so cute and gets tons of compliments! I got the dark denim. I usually wear it higher on my waist with a graphic tee or shirt tucked. It could be casual or dressier depending on how you style it. The elastic waistband is so comfortable! I wish the tie were a little longer but I’d buy it again and again as is.

The fit is a little weird because of how wide the skirt is cut, but the waist fits me great! (Petite small here and I ordered a small) The skirt came in wrinkly, but a wash took care of that. Fabric is decently thick (actual denim, not chambray). Only complaint is that the fabric isn’t finished inside the pocket so it frays.

I am 5’1″ and 105 lbs and got the dark wash denim, size XS. I should have probably sent this back, but I’m stuck with it now. It’s very stiff and looks kind of silly if you’re short (which I am), but I liked the a-line midi style, with a high waist and pockets, and hoped for the best. The fabric is just too stiff to flow in a nice way, so it sticks out to the sides in an exaggerated triangle shape. It might be less obvious if you’re taller. The quality is fine. It will look good on the right person, I just don’t think that person is me.

I wasn’t sure when I first tried it on, it seemed a bit frumpy.. but I wore it out with a fitted sweater and I ended up changing my mind! Even got a compliment from a stranger! It’s very comfortable. I’m first trimester pregnant, but dealing with bloating. With the long drawstring and nice elastic in the back, I think I will still be able fit in this in my second trimester and maybe part of the 3rd! I’d say it’s mid weight denim. Feels like it will last. Love the big pockets which hold my large phone easily! Overall it’s forgiving sizing wise, comfortable, feels decent quality, easy to wear and looks nice, although it’s a little heavy looking so I prefer the look of it with a more fitted top to avoid looking frumpy.
