It’s a good weight and well-made. Hangs nicely without being too warm. In spring and fall you can style it with over-the-knee boots and in summer it works with just about any footwear.
The V-neck is deep, so you may want a tank or camisole under it. Well above the knee on me in size Large. I’m 5’7″. It’s a very boxy fit. I could have ordered an L or XL, but thought the L would be more flattering on me. I made the correct choice–it’s straight on me but not oversized as an XL would have been.

This dress is fabulous! It is a medium weight denim. The thick hem on the sleeves and bottom make it look expensive. I am 5’11” and 155lbs. I am a straight build, but this dress can be great on all body types. I bought the XL. Could have gone down to a medium but I like the roomy fit. This dress is very comparable to my Anthropologie denim shift. Would highly recommend.
