Very stretchy denim material. If you go by your size on the chart it will fit very loosely with additional stretch. Comfortable, but you’ll find yourself needing a belt with this one. Your pockets do not pop out. Size down and it should fit fine. However, your pockets may perk out.
Overall, the fit is large and cumbersome, yet comfortable. I’ll be keeping them for that grunge boho oversized look I’m seeking for an outfit I’m putting together. The fringe is long, so one may want to trim a little, or…. not. I will be trimming mine in a more jagged way and shredding the material for a more natural aged effect; not so square and even… Same with the legs; they seem to squared off… maybe these need a little angle to them like in the photo representation provided by seller. This pair will be desirably destroyed in the end.
I like them. Found a similar pair at a cheaper rate elsewhere, but I’ll keep these. I love that these come in several styles and colors. May purchase more.

First time buying a pair of jean shorts from Amazon. Please understand from the price these are NOT a pair of Lucky Brand jean shorts. Hardware is a little questionable. But again, you are not paying $80 for a pair of shorts. The zipper is a little flimsy (take it nice & slow), they just feel like they are that awesome pair you found at Target and always reach for even though, you have other better quality shorts. They are not the typical heavy true jean material. More of a light weight, stretchy, light weight jean material. Best part of all is how EXTREMELY comfortable!!! I usual wear a size 14-16, 5’7″, 190 lbs, top heavy hour glass shape and bought a 2XL, as I wanted something more comfortable. Wow! I am really impressed with the fitting, perfect length, not too short, not too long. Cover just enough but still feel modern and young. The dye job on them is really cute. They are a little loose but don’t mind wearing a cute belt if need be. I may also buy the next size down, as you can feel there is plenty of room to fit more snug and stretch nicely over curves. Have a comfy day pair & a more sexy day pair. I understand for the price, quality of the shorts, I don’t expect them to last for years but if you want that comfortable PJ feel but in a cute jean short, you can’t beat the price. So glad I took a chance and found something I love.

These shorts are perfect!! I bought them to wear over my swimsuit, and they are so so so cute and stylish, but also modest… so I dont have half my buttcheeks hanging out. As a mommy of two very young kiddos, I hold my dress standards to a higher level, and no longer feel comfortable showing too much skin (totally my personal preference, so if you like your butt hanging out of your shorts.. then you go girl.. I just dont). So I really love these shorts for this reason, but on top of that.. they’re also sooo dang cute and incredibly comfortable. I will say, as far as how they fit… that they are really big on me.. like I can pull them out and have over 6 inches of gap between my lower back and the back of the shorts. But I honestly dont care.. because they still feel great on and look cute. I think they’re actually true to size, and I dont believe they run big at all… I just run small. Haha I’m only 5’3″ and barely 100lbs… and I have to shop in the kids’ section, so I usually expect adult clothing to be much too big for me. With that being said, these shorts are really amazing. You get the cute look of a cut off, without your entire butt hanging out. They’re the perfect length, and I highly recommend them!!

I’m 5’8 about 118lbs and I purchased the white in xs based on reviews. Pros are cute button and waist band,seemed flattering a little higher than i like though.The butt pockets were cute and weren’t to far apart to make your butt look weird. The slits were really cute as well. Cons were xs was just too big for me,mainly in the front part,just too bulky for my liking. The length did flatter my legs but wish they were a tad shorter. A little too much fringe but can easily trim. Material was okay, stretchy and soft but I prefer more cotton harder denim,just seems more flattering on me. I gave 3 stars cause their kinda cute. I knocked off 2 stars cause I think I’ll only wear them with a sweatshirt or hoodie,never a tank top due to the weird front. So honestly I don’t know if their worth keeping? If your around my size you might have the same issue with the front and being a tad big,but if your debating between a small or medium I personally think you can rock with xs if you want a tighter fit and like a little longer shorts that would be flattering on you. It’s just the front that looks odd,and may looks like that no matter the size or maybe it’s just me? Also I went with white due to reviews about other colors not being like picture. Will not be repurchasing due to fit on me. Hopefully this helps someone 🩷
